Rooms are small but they are very clean and the hotel is conveniently located. On the down side, parking is impossible, the Hotel parking garage charges $40.00 per night to pahk the cah. The hotel bar and restaurant are good and affordable but not for breakfast because they charge $25.00 a plate for a small buffet style breakfast. Even with these two small bumps in the road we would recommend and stay again....

I visited Boston with two friends for a four day getaway.
We traveled from the San Francisco Bay Area to Boston.
The Nine Zero was situated ideally-we were able to walk or take public transportation to all sites from Beacon Hill, Boston Common, and North End to Fenway Park, Back Bay and Harvard. The hotels decor was updated, clean, and decorated with a modern flair. The hotel staff was friendly and prompt addressing our needs...extra towels and late check out.I will recommend this wonderful hotel to family and friends.

Hotel was pretty average and the hotel staff not that helpful.
We stayed on the 15th floor where they have a private lounge where they serve breakfast and hors d'oeuvres, both of which were pathetic! Unless you would show up right at the beginning they would run out of stuff and never replenish, plus the food quality was pretty average.
Overall the location was excellent but everything else was average, so if you get a good rate then I would recommend this hotel, if not, stay somewhere else.

I was only at the Four Seasons for one night, the staff was exceptional - friendly, courteous, and willing to help. By far the friendliest and most helpful I've encountered. I checked in around 8:30pm, but the housekeeping staff was still servicing the room. She had actually left behind a napkin spread on the floor - I think she may have had to clean up a stain. My bathroom counter top was not wiped clean, there was a glass/cup stain from it's previous customer.
However, everything else was great. My room overlooked the park, it was quiet for sleeping, and the bed was extremely comfortable.
The hotel does not include internet service, you're required to pay a daily fee for internet. That's a little disappointing given that you're paying a fair amount for the hotel room. I can't compare the costs for parking, however, I was at another hotel last weekend in Boston and paid 1/2 of what I paid at the Four Seasons.

I was shocked at hotel prices in Boston, but this hotel was great value for money, and a good location.

The hotel was everything we expected and more. We were visiting our son at BU for Parent's Weekend. It was small as noted in other reviews, but very charming, tastefully appointed, clean and the staff always available and helpful. Great free coffee machine in lobby. The location was convenient to many areas like the Theater District, Copley Square and the T line but also private, tucked away homey. Brick sidewalks, trees and little restaurants nearby. Will surely go there again next time in Boston and have no reservations about recommending to others. The only complaint we had was that the satellite TV was very difficult to make work properly. I am fairly tech savvy and it confounded us the whole time. Almost missed the NLCS.

The hotel is very nice, the room was beautiful and the staff at the front desk was extraordinary. The staff in the restaurant, not so much. The hostess was gracious and wonderful, the young lady that bussed the tables was very efficient and polite. The waitress was terrible. She left myself and another guest sitting around waiting on her to get ready to take care of us because she was busy showing off whatever was so wonderful on her cellphone. He and I compared notes to assure ourselves that we had actually sat down and were waiting to be helped. I motioned to the young lady that bussed the tables, she came immediately and I asked for the waitress. I received an irritated glance from the waitress and the young lady that bussed the tables was delegated to see what I wanted; the waitress never returned and I did not leave a tip. I did notice that a gentleman in a very nice suit arrived and everyone jumped to attention and began to immediately appreciate their job security. Overall, I will return to the hotel in the future but I think I'll have breakfast elsewhere.

The staff, front doorman to housekeeping make you feel so welcome. Even upon checkout, we were offered a bottle of water...a very nice gesture. There is valet parking and on-site self park, which be pricey. Consider carefully if you need a car - Boston roads are very confusing anyway. The location is a very short distance from Boston Commons and many theaters; a perfection location for both.

We had no room service for the two nights we were there. There is no beach to walk on or good area to swim in. Several things in our room did not work. There were no good eating places near by. Even though we were given a free night stay we won't use it! We would have been beter off to have slept on the beach in our van! Would have been a lot cheper also.

This hotel had a convenient location. But for the small price, I got a very small room. Felt like I was in a classy hostel. Realistically, it was all that I needed...
