This was a great find. We visit New Orleans once or twice a year and stay a various places. If you want to avoid the French Quarter this is a good location for getting around. The rooms all recently redone. Nice bathrooms/showers though small. Refrigerator and microwave all new and clean. Strongly recommend just remember this is not a hotel so no daily maid service but replacement towels available at front desk. Courtyard very nice for relaxing.

At first we thought we were in a bad location for everything we wanted to see BUT then we figured out that the $3 a day trolly took us everwhere we want to be or see within 20 minutes . Uptown, garden district , river walk, French Qtrs it was easy to get to.
The staff were the most engaging and helpful I have ever experienced.
The Hotel was clean and well kept,Plenty of places to eat within 5 minutes walking distance

My husband and I spent the weekend in New Orleans. This hotel was perfect! The king size room was very spacious. The bed was so comfortable and the ac worked wonderfully. The hotel was definitely busy, but everything was kept clean and stocked. The complimentary breakfast was good. It is located right near the elevators and at times created a traffic jam for people trying to get on and off the elevator. The hotel location, about 15 blocks from Bourbon St., is situated right across the street from a bus pickup. Buses run about every 15-20 minutes. I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel, located in the Garden District, was cute and in a good location to get around NoLa. Plenty of side street parking, popular restaurant downstairs. The desk staff was very accomodating and helpful - even offering us restaurant suggestion in the French Quarter. There is also a trolley stop directly outside - it's a quick (10 minutes) ride into Downtown NoLa. The distance between here and downtown was also easily walkable and felt safe.

Hotel experiance was very good
The room key was given to us prior to check in time witch was very good after 12 hours drive. Room was a little too small but did the work. The a/c make noices but nothing to loud. Breackfast could be better but it was OK and clean.
The best was the hospitality attitude of the hotle staf.

great entry, office area, colorful murals along drive entry and exit, great character as you'd imagine a New Orleans quaint courtyard hotel to have, but it stops there. Room was every bit of a plane jane two bed one bath room. For whatever reason, we didn't receive maid service. Went to office to gather new towels and they were accomodating, but no idea why they skipped our room. Needed more coffee and more shampoo/conditioner as well. Also, room faced a brown corner wall, instead of a great courtyard view. Not many in the corners like this, hope it wasn't since we booked via a discount site.
The mattress I had felt as if a 500# person slept in the middle of it for the past ten years. It. Wasn't. Flat. At. All. Hard to get comfortable.
One last note-- the AC wasn't pushing cold air as it should have. It was cool, but was only running at a tiny portion of the speed it should have. April in NOLA can be warm, but that wasn't the case. We were out all day, by the time we returned at 10pm, the room had not cooled down in the least. Their security guard came to check it out (he pushed one button) and he couldn't do anything else. He suggested they could move me to another room, I agreed. They never contacted me to move... again, after 10pm, I simply knew they wouldn't and tried to sleep in the concave bed. Sigh. Good thing the location is great for what I wanted!!

Excellent location near WWII Museum and easy access to bus/street car. Great dining near by whether Zea's , Emeril Demonico or Voodoo BBQ. The staff is great and rooms are okay if a bit dated and on small side.

Loved the loft room as my daughter and I felt like we had privacy. Hotel was very nice as were the staff. Located right near the trolley and some nice restaurants. Good value for the money.

This is a hidden little gem in New Orleans. The place is away from the French Quarter enough to to give you a quiet night, but close enough to get you there in 5 mins driving. Great Staff!!!

when you arrive your wondering if you made a mistake - but go inside!!!! The staff was GREAT!!! the room has so much personality and was very sweet!!! if you want a view, ask for a upper room with the balcony - but this HUGE home turned hotel - holds a New Orleans flavor that I loved!! The trolley was right at the end of the steps of the hotel and just about everything I wanted to visit was reachable by trolley. The only improvement I would suggest is parking - Although the parking was on the street and surrounded by the New Orleans Private patrol cars - being from out of town I was nervous - my car and I were safe and the people from the staff of the hotel, the trolley, every where I went were friendly and kind - I love New Orleans I just didnt have enough time - next time I will!!

Stayed here for a long weekend for the Final Four. The location and neighborhood is fantastic. We walked everywhere or caught a streetcar which stops within 200 feet of the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.
