Really great. Took the family down for the 1/9/12 BCS National Championship game. Just a great location. We took quick and reasonable cab rides into all the festivities in downtown New Orleans. Great location to get away from all the hysteria, but not too far away. Thanks to the RI Metairie, LA team for a great stay at your wonderful facility! Roll Tide!!!

Its not easy finding somewhere for 5 people in one room. This hotel allowed us to do just that whilst being very inexpensive.
The location wasnt ideal - perhaps a ten minute trip off season, but a good 20-30 when there is traffic. The fastest way to get there takes you near the Superdome so plan ahead if its a sports day!
The staff were attentive and friendly, absolutely no issues.
The room was spacious and comfortable though the sofabed was rather thin and too soft. The kitchen has everything you would need.

Front desk staff were very freindly. Nice suprise in room of coffee maker, mini refrigator, and microwave. breaskfast served by the hotel was terrible, not in taste but lack in amount of food offered. Therefore, we walked across the very small hotel parking lot to Shoney's next store and had their breakfast bar which was very convenient. Only thing that would of made the stay more enjoyable is for the sheets to have stayed on the bed

Wanted a cold room capable, clean, & bug-free retreat for the day. The room was all of the above. Clean-cut, almost Zen-like decor. The designers even found a solution to the oftentimes questionable comforter. Comfortably walked the room barefoot, and never needed to hesitate touching any surface. Very peaceful stay.

"Reborn" facility

Good place. After a renovation program, this hotel has great possibilities. Our 3rd stay there.
The only negative is its location. It is a little "complicated" to drive to the hotel, after getting off the I-10, but the circular hotel building can be seen from afar.
Lakeside Shopping Center is very close by, including a Macy's and various restaurants.

We stayed at the Sheraton Metairie because we were visiting family in that area and had stayed there before. It's a nice hotel. My husband praised the waitress for his breakfast service and liked the food as well as the good service. We had drinks in the bar and the lady bartender was excellent. But we were disappointed in the housekeeping service. First we asked for extra hangers, and a staff member promised them in 10 minutes - never got them and had to ask the front desk for them the next day. Not a big deal but aggravating. On our third and last day there, we left the hotel at 10:15 am, making sure we removed the "Do not disturb" sign from the door handle. When we returned around 5:30 pm, our room had not been cleaned. When we called the front desk, we were told the housekeeping staff had gone home at 5 pm and all they could do was send up towels. When my husband said that was unsatisfactory, the person he spoke with said it was our fault for leaving the "Do not disturb" sign on the door all day. (This was reported by the person assigned to clean our room.) My husband made it quite clear that we didn't leave the sign on the door - if we had, it would have been there when we returned (which it wasn't). After that the front desk agreed to send someone to do our room. That employee told my husband she checked at 8 am and saw the sign. My husband pointed out we removed it about 2 hours later, which she did not seem to appreciate hearing. For $112 a night, we expected better service than that. The Sheraton Marriott does NOT leave comment cards in the rooms, so we had no other options for complaining except here. I hope you inform them that some of the housekeeping staff on the fifth floor need to get with the program in the future!

Major problem at checkin. We got there at 3:45 and our room (and several others) was not ready. We were offered a king room, but we needed 2 beds. Our room was eventually ready at 5:30! We were given breakfast buffet vouchers for our wait. Otherwise, nice place. Would have been nice to have microwave and a little fridge.

Good for a one night stay over, not far from everything, neighborhood alittle schetchy but hotel has camaras everywhere. To take a shower, turn hot water on while you brush teeth, shave and eatbreakfast because it takes that long to warm up but it does get hot. Overall, it was ok but wouldn't stay more than a night.

The room and kitchenette were roomy enough but under the beds looked as though a vacuum had never passed over the rug. Had to ask for face cloths and coffee supplies at front desk. Loud fight at 1:30 AM on the floor above us.

I was on a business trip to N.O.. Unfortunately the AC didn't work the moment I checked in but within 45 mins. they had maintenance change out the ENTIRE unit for a new one. EXCELLENT service on that one!
The room was nice and modern and clean.
There is not enough parking for all the cars and I had to park on the street. Unfortunately we had a heavy rain and my car had water up to the bottom of my car door and I thought it leaked in but didn't. I was dressed in business attire and couldn't get to my car. I was disappointed in the front desk response "Oh, this happens every time we have a heavy rain and you'll have to walk down the street and back up the sidewalk to your car."
Fortunately a gentleman in shorts and sandals offered to barefoot it to my car and drive it over to me! Many cars in the parking lot were in the same situation...very deep water! I won't be staying there again.

Great value, good location, very quiet rooms. I had a problem with internet reception in the corner room that I was first given. But the staff moved me to a central room that was fine. Free breakfast was decent but nothing special. Seating can be a problem though since it was very crowded when I was there. Used the fitness center and found the treadmill and elliptical machines to be top notch, fitness room had great AC with towels and water. The courtyard and breezeway were both very nice too.

Can't beat their free breakfast buffet: biscuits and sausage gravy, eggs, homemade waffles, yogurt, other continental goodies, coffee and juice! Good if you're on a budget. Got a good price on the rooms too since I booked online and got a discount for staying 5 nights. Ending up being about $65/night for a nice room with king bed :-)

Our stay was decent. Enjoyed the fact that the restaurant was connected to the hotel. The hotel staff was friendly and the price on was okay for the stay but could have been less because you can tell the place is older. Overall though, it was a good stay.

when i booked hotel in online, it says beds are queen but they are full size. room was okey, not too bad.

The amenties at the Sheraton Four Points were economical but good, but the staff was exceptional--courteous & helpful. The food in the restaurant was above average in value for a hotel in this class.

Front desk personnel very friendly and helpful. Overall room cleanliness not very good. Pretty good bang for the buck.

The good, the bad and the really?

The good was that it was near the highway and the front desk ladies were a great help in directions and getting things we needed. The bad was that we had to go down and get our own towels, that they only clean weekly without being charged extra for it, that there were 2 lights broken in our room and they did not know. No sample dish soap offered and only 1 small garbage can...really??? It rained hard the last night I was there and the parking lot and entrance flooded so much that I was afraid to drive my rental car in. I ended up running over something and got a flat. May not be their fault, but that is how I see it having to go way around the block to enter their lot in a different way to avoid the flood. The beds were hard. Had to fold up the bedspreads and sleep on them for additional cushion. In some visible spots the floor stripping was coming off the walls, the tub was stained. Extended stay and you only get 4 hangers? Really?? For the money, I was disappointed.

It was ok. It was a last minute hotel stay for Essence. [...] It didn't seem like a safe area. Lobby door was locked and I had to check in through a window.
