The only problem we had was that the trash can in our room wasn't empty. My 1 year-old found food in there and proceeded to eat it! We also wanted to check-in early and were not allowed to check-in even 30 mins early!

The room was clean. However, the "non-smoking" room had 2 ashtrays in the room and reeked of smoke. No pool or hot tub. Nearby train tracks, but it wasn't too loud.

We needed a cheap room for the night after attending the Shreveport Brew festival. We have stayed at this property several times in the past. The hotel is nice for a budget hotel and the area is safe. The staff is always friendly. I will continue to stay here when I need a cheap place to stay in Shreveport.

Daughters 21st Birthday Celebration

Upon my arrival on Oct. 22, 2011 the front desk receptionist was very courteous. I actually reserved two rooms one for my daughter and friends and one for me. Their room smelled like smoke that had been sprayed down with air freshener. My room was perfect. The housekeeping staff was extremely rude. During departure/checkout at 11:55 a.m. housekeeping called my daughters room and asked if they could come and pull the sheets off the bed. She stated we are about to leave shortly, you can come after we checkout. At 11:57 a.m. houskeeping knock on the door asking to pull sheets and I just happen to be there assiting with loading the car and I told her to come back. She walked off and mumble something ugly.

Great area. Outback Steakhouse right next door. Close to casinos. Farely quite except when the train came by and blew it's horn.

This hotel is in a great location, but only if you can handle all the noise from the boardwalk. All the cleaning and deliveries to the boardwalk are early in the morning which make for a non restful sleep. The walls of the rooms are not very thick either. We could hear the neighbors as if they were right in our room. This hotel was clean and very nice. The noise might have been better on an upper floor.
