BEDS WERE NICE AND COMFORTABLE
THE BREAKFAST IN THE MORNING WAS GOOD AND SAVED US A MORNING TRIP EACH DAY. PLUS WE HAD 13 PEOPLE AND COULD EAT AT ANY TIME.
THE STAFF WAS GREAT. THE LOUNGE WAS LOTS OF FUN WITH GREAT BARTENDERS.

This was a very nice hotel. My only complaint would be that there is nothing around. The pool was not good but when we left they are closing it to refurbish it. there were only two towels in the room and when the couple we were with asked for more they were asked how many people are in your room. I think if we need more towels we should get them.

I didn't pay a five star price so I wasn't expecting a five star hotel. The living quarters were great and ideal. The staff was friendly, welcoming and courtesy, and the breakfast was great!
We stayed here for orientation at LSU. It was a bit far from the school in comparison to a few other locations but the overall service in relation to the price was awesome. I'd definitely go back there and I'd definitely recommend this place to travelers.

Loved the ability to stay up with my wife and not be forced to go to bed at the same time as the kids. Staff was courtious and accomidating. Enjoyed the pool, work-out center, and light breakfast. Also utilized the kitchen; especially the refrigerator for snacks and milk/juice for the kids. A great value! I won't rent a single room again!

My husband and I travel to Baton Rouge to visit our daughter while she is in college at LSU. We love staying at this hotel because of the convenience of location, great price and we love the rooms. Having a kitchen is great since we are usually tailgating and being out of town we can bring food and keep it in the frige and if I need to make something I can do it there. We love the 2 bedroom suites because she can come and spend the night with us and have some family time.

From check-in, parking, room cleanliness and convenience, dining, and location, we felt it was a great stay. What really made the difference was the staff. Waitress at the breakfast buffet was fantastic! The customer service from the staff moved it from a great stay to perfect. Very modern facility. Nice to take an old gray concrete building and turn it into a great hotel.

there is an amusement prk right next door. you do have to drive to be safe. that is also the only problem, we stayed in back of the hotel & could hear the go-carts till late.

My family came down from Atlanta to spend some time away. we found the Chase Suites to have exactly what we needed. The kitchenette came in handy when we decided to cook instead of going out. Having the pots, pans, and dishes were a great surprise. The breakfast in the mornings was most welcome, as was the social time on Monday and Friday evenings. Although the weather was not perfect, my son enjoyed the pool and hot tub!

no matter where you're going around Baton Rouge, this hotel is in a great location. It's close to tons of restaurants and shopping and is also right near the interstate so getting downtown is easy. The free continental breakfast was great and we really enjoyed having mini-fridges and microwaves in our room.

I spent the weekend in Baton Rouge to visit my daughters and grandson. The hotel was clean and the staff professional. The breakfast bar was adaquate but would have preferred scrambled eggs but the hard boiled ones were fine. I will stay here again.

This is awesome. Loved the location to be at LSU early. Nice shops nearby. Great breakfast. Room very comfortable. Used fitness room. Overall everything was first class, and will stay again.

Quite hotel even though they had a track meet in town that weekend. Nice gym equipment but part of it was broken and one of the threadmill was shot. Not your traditional hotel where you can't park in front of your hotel room but they have carts you can use to take your bags up.

The second floor were we stayed , smelled bad . There was a Dog in one of the rooms . It barked , and when they opened the door , It smelled up the whole hall. There was mold on the shower curtain. The people was nice about everything . They didn't have anything for Breakfast when we went down at 8:00am.

The staff was very helpful and had everything ready for me upon my entry. The room was very neat, though very date, it was kept up nice. The air conditioner did not stay on the temperature I preferred but it wasnt hot so it was ok.

It was in a great location of town. (right between Citiplace and Town Center) The staff was very nice and helpful. Nothing really special about the room. The bed made alot of noise when you moved around and most of the hotel smelled of smoke even though I had a non-smoking room. All in all for the price it was worth it. I would stay there again but I doubt I would recommend it to friends.

We stayed at this hotel to visit family. The location is great, and convenient to everything we wanted to do. Though it is right of the interstate, it is hard to find - with no sign visible to direct you. The rooms are very nice and the staff are very courteous and helpful. However, I did not rest very well as there was constant noise in the hallway and lobby. Do no stay on the first floor.

I came into Baton Rouge for one night on business and needed an inexpensive hotel. My criteria for choosing hotels was fitness center and safe area and I feel that I had both. The gentleman at the desk made a great restaurant recommendation (Parrain's on Perkins Ave) and was helpful in giving directions for sightseeing. The hotel is nothing grand, but is clean and quiet. One of the downsides was that I had to sit near the door with my laptop literally on my lap in order to get wireless service. WiFi is free in this hotel, so I can't complain, but it would've been nice to have been able to spread out at the desk. The bathrooms are also nothing special, but the room itself was very comfortable. FYI - fitness center has cardio equipment only.

We were in town for a wedding and we needed an additional room for my in-laws. There happened to be a concert in town so unfortunately this was pretty much all that was left in the area of town we needed to be in. The room had supposedly just been cleaned but their was an awful scent in the room. As we walked in, there happened to be a small roach that crawled across the floor. The air conditioning couldn't even get the room a nice and cold environment. I wouldn't ever recommend this hotel to anyone with the current conditions.

Adequate for football weekend

Adequate, economical accommodations for a LSU football game. Breakfast was pretty minimal. Room had shower only, no bathtub.

I was looking for a place to stay during a LSU home football weekend (and wasn't attending the game) and wasn't expecting to find anything worth while. I found this place and was very impressed with the location, comfort and over all experience. Plus it was within minutes to LSU's campus and only one exit away from the Mall of Louisiana. Thanks Best Western!

Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Room was very clean. Beds were very uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on the floor. Pool was too small

The hotel was descent but nothing to really brag about. The carpet could have been cleaner and it needed a little TLC. Overall not too bad.

The whole place smelled bad. Old carpet, dated furniture, invisible staff. No service unless you begged and then it was bad service. Very rude management if you can call them that,

Me and my children came in town to go to the waterpark. We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel had an awesome indoor/outdoor pool. It was under construction but that didnt bother me. The food was good but very pricey. On a sour note, our room never got cleaned after we left that first morning so when we returned there were no clean towels and we had ants all over the trash can. I would recommend this hotel but make sure u see someone going to the room to clean

It was clean, and smelled fine. The heater smelled a little funky, but not disgusting. The pool was nice, but there is no hot tub.
We enjoyed our stay, but it was a dad expensive for our tastes. This of course was after another hotel reservation was royally screwed up and we had to make new ones elsewhere for the week.
The room in general wasn't that well ventilated. After a day of swimming, and other... *ahem* activities, the fresh circulation of air would have been much appreciated. The best we could do is turn on the slightly stinky fan/heater/airconditioning unit.

Wedding weekend

We attended a wedding at Mount Hope Plantation, met with family (new and old) at the hotel, visited family in Brusly across the river, visited the old Plaquemine lock and the Port Arthur Lock, toured Nottaway Plantation, and toured the State Capitol Building, including a trip to the tower sky walk. We had a grand time!

Super friendly staff! They gave great driving directions in town and down to N'Orleans. Hotel was clean and a great location. Great time in Baton Rouge! Wonderful beds! Very quiet.
