even though it may not be the most posh place you can stay or have flat screens, it is a great place to stay. the room was clean and the full size kitchen and fireplace is a plus. nice size and ammenities at a great price...

My family came down from Atlanta to spend some time away. we found the Chase Suites to have exactly what we needed. The kitchenette came in handy when we decided to cook instead of going out. Having the pots, pans, and dishes were a great surprise. The breakfast in the mornings was most welcome, as was the social time on Monday and Friday evenings. Although the weather was not perfect, my son enjoyed the pool and hot tub!

This was a very nice hotel. My only complaint would be that there is nothing around. The pool was not good but when we left they are closing it to refurbish it. there were only two towels in the room and when the couple we were with asked for more they were asked how many people are in your room. I think if we need more towels we should get them.

I didn't pay a five star price so I wasn't expecting a five star hotel. The living quarters were great and ideal. The staff was friendly, welcoming and courtesy, and the breakfast was great!
We stayed here for orientation at LSU. It was a bit far from the school in comparison to a few other locations but the overall service in relation to the price was awesome. I'd definitely go back there and I'd definitely recommend this place to travelers.

We stayed in the mini suite and enjoyed the room size, the bed was very comfortable and had a nice size kitchen. The location was central to our meeting location and close to many restaurants .
I would stay there again if going back to baton rogue.

no matter where you're going around Baton Rouge, this hotel is in a great location. It's close to tons of restaurants and shopping and is also right near the interstate so getting downtown is easy. The free continental breakfast was great and we really enjoyed having mini-fridges and microwaves in our room.

I spent the weekend in Baton Rouge to visit my daughters and grandson. The hotel was clean and the staff professional. The breakfast bar was adaquate but would have preferred scrambled eggs but the hard boiled ones were fine. I will stay here again.

The Front Desk Staff were absolutely incredible. The Hotel itself is a bit dated (late 60s, my guess) but undergoing rehab. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast definitely lacking - a bit overpriced with few selections. Wait staff VERY attentive. Overall, priced for the completed renovation - not the current condition.

The staff was very helpful and had everything ready for me upon my entry. The room was very neat, though very date, it was kept up nice. The air conditioner did not stay on the temperature I preferred but it wasnt hot so it was ok.

It was in a great location of town. (right between Citiplace and Town Center) The staff was very nice and helpful. Nothing really special about the room. The bed made alot of noise when you moved around and most of the hotel smelled of smoke even though I had a non-smoking room. All in all for the price it was worth it. I would stay there again but I doubt I would recommend it to friends.

The room was price ok, but the service was not great. They would not vacuum my room, but rather spray a room deodorizer on the floor. My room had roaches and a hole in the bathroom door where someone had punched it. The room did not have an iron, they had to take it from another room because the front desk did not have an extra one. I had the "do not disturb" sign on the door, but they came in anyway to clean while we were still inside the room. I stayed there 5 days, but will not stay there again.

I arrived and waited outside about 5 to 10 minutes getting the paperwork done because the lobby was closed. The room was pleasantly spacious. I tried to connect to the internet and it blocked me from loading pages until I ran a program that wiped out my entire operating system. DO NOT USE THE INTERNET THERE. As I was leaving, the police had to show up and resolve an issue between the lady in the lobby and some guy.

Quite hotel even though they had a track meet in town that weekend. Nice gym equipment but part of it was broken and one of the threadmill was shot. Not your traditional hotel where you can't park in front of your hotel room but they have carts you can use to take your bags up.

Me and my children came in town to go to the waterpark. We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel had an awesome indoor/outdoor pool. It was under construction but that didnt bother me. The food was good but very pricey. On a sour note, our room never got cleaned after we left that first morning so when we returned there were no clean towels and we had ants all over the trash can. I would recommend this hotel but make sure u see someone going to the room to clean

It was clean, and smelled fine. The heater smelled a little funky, but not disgusting. The pool was nice, but there is no hot tub.
We enjoyed our stay, but it was a dad expensive for our tastes. This of course was after another hotel reservation was royally screwed up and we had to make new ones elsewhere for the week.
The room in general wasn't that well ventilated. After a day of swimming, and other... *ahem* activities, the fresh circulation of air would have been much appreciated. The best we could do is turn on the slightly stinky fan/heater/airconditioning unit.

We were in town for a wedding and we needed an additional room for my in-laws. There happened to be a concert in town so unfortunately this was pretty much all that was left in the area of town we needed to be in. The room had supposedly just been cleaned but their was an awful scent in the room. As we walked in, there happened to be a small roach that crawled across the floor. The air conditioning couldn't even get the room a nice and cold environment. I wouldn't ever recommend this hotel to anyone with the current conditions.

Good for game day

Only stayed one night. Came to town for an LSU game. It was a six pm kickoff and we didn't check in til midnight. Room was clean enough and the bed slept ok. The smoke smell just about took our breath when we walked in. It wasn't too bad after we turned the air on and opened the door for a little while. Other than that, the room was fine and pretty close to the stadium. It was a bit expensive also, but it was game day.

Stayed here for an LSU football game. Great location close to campus, and the hotel ammenities were very good.
The room was not ready for us to check in by the time we left for the game at 3:00. We did not get to check in until after the game at 11:00pm, which means we had the room for a total of 9 hours before we checked out. The hotel offered a "game day shuttle" tot take people to and from the staduim for $20 per person. The problem was that there were 150 people doing this and only a 15 passenger van to transport everyone. We waited 45 minutes before the game for a ride and an hour after to be picked up. What a ripoff...

Great Multi-Room Option

Loved the ability to stay up with my wife and not be forced to go to bed at the same time as the kids. Staff was courtious and accomidating. Enjoyed the pool, work-out center, and light breakfast. Also utilized the kitchen; especially the refrigerator for snacks and milk/juice for the kids. A great value! I won't rent a single room again!

My husband and I travel to Baton Rouge to visit our daughter while she is in college at LSU. We love staying at this hotel because of the convenience of location, great price and we love the rooms. Having a kitchen is great since we are usually tailgating and being out of town we can bring food and keep it in the frige and if I need to make something I can do it there. We love the 2 bedroom suites because she can come and spend the night with us and have some family time.

Bad time to stay at this hotel!

The worst part was the elevator was not working and our room was on the top (third) floor. My wife has two bad knees and the stairs presented an extreme hardship. The staff said there were no other rooms, even though during our two days there the hotel never appeared busy at all. The couch inside was worn and weathered, and the only way my wife would sit on it was with a towel on top. To get the front door closed you had to use extreme force. The bed sagged in the middle but was still comfortable. The only redeeming qualities were that once you climbed to the third floor and managed to get the door closed and locked, the room was comfortable and the location was pretty good for what we wanted to do during our stay. Overall our experience was not good and certainly not worth the price we paid. I would not stay there again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

The room was clean and staff was nice. It was my brother and i going for an LSU game. we did not have our family's with us. It is not in the best part of town but did not have or see any thing that looked out of ordanary. I will stay here again. Price was not an issue we just needed a room last minute and Baton Rouge was sold out. Had full size fridge if you were staying longer. Overall happy with value.
