check in quick, very nice lady who made me feel right at home..she made sure she put us away from a teen group staying there (they were not rowdy at all).. nice king suite..good temp controls, comfy bed..shower hot...great full breakfast with egss, bacon, biscuits and gravy. the ladies who ran the buffett were full of charm and sweet, def will be staying there again....felt safe....for the money, this place cant be beat...

We found our hotel. We had booked our reservation, so knew where we were headed but had never been there before. Coming from Lakeville, Minn this day, we had been in our truck for 14 hours. Ready for our beds! The outside of the building was a little scarey...it's an old building. The hallways seemed a little old, but our room was spotless!!! While the ceilings in the bathroom could use a fresh coat of paint, we had the best shower head (for pressure) that we've ever had!!! Our kingsized bed was very comfortable and higher from the floor than we've ever had in a hotel. It was MUCH like our bed at home!!! Also, we were headed for Cracker Barrell for breakfast, but one look at the breakfast offered by our hotel changed our minds. The biscuits and gravy, eggs and waffles, juices, milk and WONDERFUL coffee...served by a great woman with a wonderful good morning smile....Brenda I think her name is...oh yes...we'll be back!!! :)

Room was clean but with dated decor . Staff was excellent and helpful . We got a non-smoking room but had to walk through a smoking area to get to it but thankfully , the room was smoke free and had no odor . For the price I paid I was satisfied .

A very friendly and informative clerk checked us in. We were very pleased with the quality of service and the breakfast (served 6-9:30). The rooms were small and the hotel's been around for a while, but it was a basic clean place to stay for the night. Easy access off I-75 at exit 90. Per hotel clerk, each room has a fridge and microwave.

The Jameson was offered at a great price and you get what you pay for. While the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, they just couldn't make up for the cheap bath linens, uncomfortable pillows and musty shower. We love'd the proximity to restaurants and the interstate, but will probably choose a more well known chain next time in hopes of better amenities

Good overnight stay

This Holiday Inn Express is undergoing renovations which did not interfer with our stay. Room was clean, Bathroom a little dated, but clean. Handy off of I-75, but the highway it is located on is very busy. Overall, a nice overnight stay.

WE STAYED AT 3 HOLIDAY IN EXPRESSES ON OUR WAY TO VISIT FAMILY IN KY FOR THANKSGIVING. EVERY ONE WAS GOOD. THE BEST WAS THE ONE IN RICHMOND KY. THEY ALL SHOULD BE HELD TO THAT STANDARD.

The location of the hotel was easy to find because they had a good sign and other directions from the interstate. My room was not as clean as I would have liked but the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean the pillows were to die for. There was no soap or shampoo in the room so after I got there I had to go back to the desk and request those items.

This is an older Inn. Access to the room was outside doors. The door to our room was not tight, and had a space at the bottom. The room was clean.

Days Inn are good values, but I stayed in two of them and they seem to be in general disrepair regarding electric and door operation. Both hotels had the same defects even though they were hundreds of miles apart. Half the lights and sockets didn't work and the door barely opened halfway.

Only 3 miles from Eastern Kentucky University! Arlington Club and Golf Course is only 1/2 mile from Red Roof Lexington Richmond, and beautiful Lake Reba Recreational Complex/Gibson Bay Golf Course is just 5 miles from this hotel.
Red Roof Lexington Richmond is also near the Bluegrass Army Depot, and is just 10 miles from Boonesborough State Park and Bybee Pottery. Kentucky Horse Park and Renfro Valley are only 35 minutes away.

Description
This historic old house was home to James and Sarah Clay daughter of notorious Cassius M. Clay, minister to Russia during the Lincoln administration Bennett. It offers three elegant bedrooms each featuring private, spacious bathroom, reading seating area, personal office, cable television, telephone, wireless Internet, and full-course breakfast.The two-and-one-half-story asymmetrical brick structure is finished by a high-hipped roof of slate with flared eaves and a crenelated roof comb. A two-story turret has a domed roof with flared, overhanging eaves. The house is available for weddings, receptions, birthday galas, bridal luncheons, specialty teas, etc. Check-in is at 3 00 PM. Guests planning to arrive before or after this time must contact the property at least 48 hours prior to arrival to receive special check-in instructions. As a bed and breakfast property, the Front Desk hours will vary guests should contact the property to find out more information. To contact the property, use the number on the reservation confirmation received after booking.

This was just a overnight stay on our way to the Smoky Mountains. The staff was not friendly upon our arrival and when I told him I had AARP he would not honor it as they had already charged our room before we left on our vacation. The electricity was down while we were trying to get ready to leave with no explaination. The room was not in the best shape or as clean as it should have been. The door to our room had an opening on the bottom part and had to use a towel to cover it up before we went to bed that night. The room was way overpriced for the shape it was in. The bed was not as comfortable and woke up very stiff and sore.

Beds were okay. Towels and bed linens were stained. Lamp shades were torn and shoddy. Vanity was painted but wood looked damaged underneath. Bath fixtures were stained and very old. TV worked but was very old. Motel needs major upgrades and renovations.
