Very convenient to Kentucky Oaks Mall. Room was large, clean and comfortable for the two of us. The continental breakfast had definitely the best presentation and service of any place we stayed on our 1,000+ mile trip but this location was also the most expensive of any of our lodgings during our journey.

I had reservations for the hotel already booked and I wanted to add a night. The staff were very friendly and I had no trouble adding a night. Very helpful. Also, the staff at breakfast were kind and wanted to be sure everyting was in order. I coulden't ask for anything more.

The staff was extrememly friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The location is probably the best part. Even though close to the highway, it was very quiet and peaceful. A beautiful park across the street allowed for wine, cheese and crackers next to a well manicured pond with water fountain. A great weekend get-away.

The location was perfect yet tucked away in a quiet area so the noise from the highway was not heard. The Kentucky Oaks Mall and many quality restaurants were within a mile of the hotel. The turn-down service was an unexpected but welcome surprise.

Awesome stay at the Candlewood Suites/Paducah

Jenna was the best!!!! No problem checking in or out. It was nice to have a kitchen in the room, the room was clean & quiet. The location is very convienent to local businesses & to get on the freeway. Nice work out room and free laundry facilities. The beds were comfy and I loved the water pressure in the shower. I would recommend this Hotel and I would stay here again!

My wife and I were in Paducah for the Metropolis High School (Illinois) 50 year reunion and this hotel was perfect for what we had to do. It was 7 miles from Metropolis,had plenty of places to choose from to eat,and was located near Interstate 24.

My family and I took a trip to Paducah for some wedding dress shopping. This hotel was near all major stores and malls, which made for great shopping. The hotel was very clean, in addition, the staff and service was above and beyond any hotel stay I've ever experienced. I would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to anyone in the area!

Check in was a breeze. I attended a reunion where I retired from. This was the second time that I stayed at this motel and when I return I will definitly stay there again. A TV upgrade is needed.

The hotel was an excellent value & in a GREAT location. It was lacking the "extras" that other hotels offer such as an iron, coffee maker, or fridge. However the price was half of the cost of those other hotel chains.

We visited Four Rivers Harley Davidson shop while there....the motel room was ok, but will probably choose a nicer motel next time. For the price it was what you get. It needed a new bath matt in the bath tub and the bedspreads wasn't very pretty I would just use a plain color bedspread and the pillows could be a little nicer they was pretty flat, but for just one night it was ok.

The hotel location was in a rough area, the staff seemed bored, & the room wasnt as clean as it should have been. The ice machine wasnt on the same floor....won't be staying here again...

I was pleased with this hotel, it was large and clean. I loved that the whirlpool tub was actually in the bathroom so you didn't have to worry about getting the carpet in the bedroom area wet as in most hotels. The drain in the tub however was very slow emptying unless you held it down.
I did accidentally book a smoking room but the smoke was not a problem until the next morning when we got ready to leave the entire hall smelled of smoke. Since the room I got was a smoking room it was on the other side of the building in the back, the only problem I really had was that the back door led no where. When you went out the door you had to walk out into the area where the cars pull around the building to walk around to where you parked which was a little odd and unconventional.
Overall, I was pretty pleased with this hotel.

My sister and I were visiting Paducah doing family genealogy research. The beds were the best I've ever slept in at a hotel, the breakfast was wonderful, the evening snack was a great treat, the pool and sauna were relaxing and the room was lovely. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. It was great as we were checking in we overheard the clerk at the desk quote the price for the same type room we had and it was double the price we were paying [...]we had a wonderful time while discovering our family roots. I'd highly recommend Drury Suites [...] again.

Several restaurants within walking distance. 10 miles to casino. Hotel located within walking distance to Regional Kentucky Oaks Mall. FREE high speed internet access in all rooms. Free high speed Internet access in all suites and indoor pool and fitness room available for hotel guests. All Comfort Suites are smoke free. Pool closed through August 26, 2009.

The price was great ($50) for advanced booking. I was weary about how the hotel would compare to my family's usual 4-5 star hotel experiences.
Check-in was straight-forward and the people seemed friendly. The first thing we did when we got to the room was check the beds for bed bugs (a real concern for people from my area). The sheets looked clean with no bed bugs. There were a few stains in some of the sheets and the towels, but they looked like old stains that had probably been there. The bottom of the bathtub looked stained as well.
We had a light go out during the day that was quickly fixed by a really nice maintenance worker. The air conditioner and the refrigerator worked well.
The continental breakfast was lacking in things like scrambled eggs and sausage but did have a waffle iron, a variety of drinks, cereal, and donuts.
The big problem was the pool. The pool had a lot of dead bugs in it, as if the filter wasn't working. There was no cover at night, and we're pretty sure the overabundance of mosquitoes meant that there were mosquito eggs and larvae in the pool. Also, it looked like a baby diaper exploded in the pool sometime between Thursday night and Sunday afternoon because there was a sandy substance all over the bottom of the pool that wasn't cleaned until Monday morning.
Despite these issues, we would likely use this hotel again if we're in the area.

The check in was very smooth and the manager was both helpful and freindly. Unfortuanetly there was a problem with the keyless entry. The staff worked diligently to correct the problem; however, my second nigh of stay I had no key and had to have the front desk staff let me in and out of my room.

The room was clean, but the air conditioner did not take the humidity out of the room and it seemed damp all night. We think the drain was stopped up. Our toilet seat had a bolt loose and it broke during the night when I got up to use it and almost threw me in the floor in the dark. Other than that, it was a very quiet place to stay and the breakfast was nice. The room was a nice size and had all you need for the night. For the price I guess it was all you should expect to get.

It was ok for a one night stay. The rooms were clean. But I will not stay there again. There is no place to eat around that area. The room was big and the king size bed was comfortable, and the air condition worked great other than it being a older hotel it was ok for the money

Requested non-smoking room when booked. Both room we were put in had the foul smell of smoke and ashtray's even though non-smoking symbol outside room.

fantastic week end getaway

It was a very nice week end. we visited friends ,had dinner out with them. was one of the best trips we have taken in a while. we will be going back an staying same place.
The staff was very friendly . not like some places we have stayed. its good to know there is a place you can feel at home.

We went here on a Wednesday to enjoy the swimming pool. We live fairly local, and we wanted to find a decently priced hotel with an indoor pool. It was great for the kiddos who swam more than 6 hours or so! The pool hours were 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Nice hours.
Good value for what it was. The staff was friendly. Everyone enjoyed the breakfast selection (included waffles, bacon, hardboiled eggs, Red's donuts ... a local fave).

Mediocre but cheaper than most

The hotel was in need of an update and the standard of clean was lower than I like. Didn't get a chance to use the pool or the internet. I forgot to check ahead of time and see if there was a fridge in the room, and there was not. Staff was great, check-in was super easy, breakfast was nice. Location was great! Air conditioner was very noisy but we kept it running to drown out outside noises.
No elevator! Inside access to rooms always makes me feel safer. The stairwell door required key access from the lobby.

The Pear Tree Inn is a good place to be heading to after a long day - either on the road or in meetings. The facilties pulls you in to the comfort of the peace and quiet on the inside of the facility. The beds are great, the rooms are quiet and the staff is non obtrusive. Perfect for leisure or business travel

We were looking for a place to stay for the night to break up a very long trip. This place was a great value. The room was spotless & had coffee, tea, and popcorn provided. The refrigerator was perfect to keep my toddlers milk and cheese in overnight. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and provided a nice hot breakfast. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, muffins, yogurt, pastries, cereal, and much more. The only draw back was I found several ham bones in my daughters scrambled eggs with ham mixed in. I saw the before she ate any and threw the eggs out. We will be stopping again next time we go to visit family in MI and IL!

This worked just fine for our family. The bathroom/tub was clean which was a plus for baths for the kids! Staff was friendly and helpful especially during the continental breakfast. We'd stay there again...great price for a place to stay to break up our long trip!

Very few hotels were able to accept reservations sue to ASA Tournement and the Baymont was availible. Personel were friendly. Rooms were moderatley furnised without a refrigerator.
