Very nice place, unbeatable view, one of the top bourbon bars in the world, great restaurants, close to everything. Neighbors a little noisy at early hours and the room cleaning was a bit spotty.

I did not realize that all the doors were on the outside of the hotel nor did it not have an elevator & when you have a grandma & kid with you trying to climb stairs is no fun but for no longer than we were there, it was fine. It was not far from the competition.

I was working in town for the weekend by myself and only needed a place to sleep. This was a perfect hotel for that. It is an older hotel, so you can't expect a crisp new feeling. It is by the University, so there were kids out late making noise in the stairs and parking lot. The staff was helpful and friendly. If I were to bring my family with me, I would probably stay across the street at a newer hotel with an indoor pool, but for me this worked well.

It was good staying at that hotel. It was reasonable prices and good services. Nothing exciting or surprise. It was nice and quiet environment and we like it. We will go back again, if we going to Louisville Kentucky.

The Sealbach is a great location and very cool hotel. The bar is super nice and the music was good. We did not get our original room request and settled for a junior suite that was just OK. No complimentar items, no newspaper, no fruit at the clerkstand, not even coffee or water in the lobby. For the price one would think a couple of perks would be in the works.

Great Airport Location

I stayed at this location for the free shuttle to and from the airport as my niece was getting married in Louisville. The hotel included a friendly staff, beautiful pool area, and business center where I could print my boarding pass. I ate at the restaurant 3 times, and the food was delicious and fairly priced.
The hotel had a low occupancy while I was there; therefore, I was surprised when I was given a room with a view of the rooftop airconditioners when so many other beautiful views were available, especially since I
did not have a bargain rate for the 3 nights.

We went to visit family. We wanted to be close to them and yet close to the interstate. This hotel gave us both. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The only thing that I was slightly disappointed with was that the coffee pot was not clean and the extra towels never arrived. The hotel itself was very clean

The staff was cheery and helpful, even on Christmas Eve when I'm sure they would have preferred to be at home. The breakfast was really good. There were even yogurt and waffles. The room was pretty small, but we only slept there, so it was OK. Not much of a fitness room, but we ended up watching football instead of working out, so it didn't make much difference to us.

Hip, Comfortable, Quality, and Friendly

Stopping in Louisville was part of a long family road trip (and I don't usually take road trips). As a regular traveler averaging business trips more than once a month, I am used to top-notch hotels. So I knew to check Yelp as we approached Louisville. I found 21c, saw the great reviews, and booked our room. It turned out to be one of the great highlights of our trip! 21c was not only a fabulous hotel with quality amenities, but very detailed in its approach to design and even more surprising...*friendly*. Not hung up on pretentiousness, 21c was full of attractive, cool people who were more like friends than staff. On top of all that, the art there inspired not only myself, but also my 4-year-old daughter who was traveling with me. Now she keeps asking to go back to the place with the red penguins. Love, love, love! I will accept almost any speaking gig I'm offered in Louisville because of this hotel.

We came in to town for a friend's wedding, and decided to pay a "premium" to stay here instead of crashing at a nationwide hotel chain. My wife and I have been lucky to stay at several higher-end hotels in the past year or so, (Fairmont Boston and SF, Waldorf, Driskill Austin, Dana Chicago)- But this hotel is in a league of its own (with Dana in second) if you are looking for something that is not just "knee jerk luxury"- everything here was unique and beautiful in its own way.
Our room has a great bed, a Ipod stereo dock (they even have a preloaded Ipod, although we used our own) a nice TV and a great desk. The bathroom was cathedralesque. The in-room coffeemaker was top notch.
Oh- and the ART! Sculpture, paintings, photographs, mixed media- it is everywhere and it is beautiful!
Finally, I have to say that the service- especially by the valet/bellhop guys is really the best we have ever seen. They went above and beyond in helping with our bags, not making us wait on our car, etc. True southern hospitality coupled with the up most professionalism.

We were compensated for our late arrival and not being able to find the parking lot. The desk clerk was friendly and we talked every time we arrived back from somewhere. We were there for the Fraternal Order of Eagles International convention. The hotel people were very friendly even though the city wasn't.

The hotel was easy to find, right off the highway. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was better than expected. The room was a good size; great that they offer a sleeper sofa option, not always available in the city hotels and a mini frig. The bathroom set up was a little different with a separate toilet room with bitty size sink and another room for shower stall and bigger sink. Nice view. Easy walking to many places including the Louisville Bats game.

It's located in a great area of Louisville; shopping and restaurants nearby. The elevator was not working and had to lug all that luggage up the steps. Rooms need updating. Alot of the TV channels were not "available" as listed. Marginal free breakfast. On the evening of arrival the temperature was quite chilly and the doors were all propped wide open into the lobby area, making check in less than optimal.

My husband and I went to a concert and booked this hotel with the understanding that Papa Johns Stadium was only 1/2 mile down the road. When we got there, it was more like 10-12 miles down the road. But no biggie. The front desk clerk called us a cab and had it waiting for us when we got downstairs! The room was amazing and much nicer than I had expected! I know that if I ever have to do business in Louisville, this will be the place I'll stay because the room was like a small apartment with a kitchenette, living space, nice lg desk for work space and I loved the shower and bathroom space! NOt to mention the yummy breakfast we had the next morning! This is definitely an awesome place to stay. It was very beautiful, sophisticated, and peaceful!

We were in town for a church convention. Even though the on-site restaurant had limited items on the menu, we tried many of them and the food was always good. The room was very accommodating, large, and clean. Having a coffee pot, mini microwave and refrigerator was great. The staff was excellent and always helpful. We had a great stay for 4 nights.

I was going to the fairgrounds for a car show and the hotel was not even 5min away. The location was great!!The hotel itself was very nice and clean and the staff was helpful.They had a whole list of restaurants when we ask,and suggested a great place nearby.I would for sure stay their again.

We spent a week at the ky state fair horse show and the hotel provided good amentities and had a very good location. The hotel was a good value

Great location for us since we were at the Expo Center. It says it's within walking distance to ChurchHill Downs. It would be about a 1 1/2 mile or more walk. Spend the $5-10 for parking at the races. No rooms have refrig or microwave. We called for a wake up call for 6 mornings. 1 of the 6 was on time, 1 was an hour later, 4 never came through so set another alarm if it's a MUST to get up. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, bed was firm for me but hubby & sister said was good for them. Smoke detector wasn't attached

Great Location - just off Fwy and so close to downtown. Awesome grounds to walk the dog. Very large property with restaurant, nice breakfast area, etc. Great room - first room stayed in in quite awhile with no stains on the carpet or cloth furniture - whoo hooo

The hotel was very clean. the room was nicely decorated. The pool was a bit small. (The plaque on the wall said the max # of people allowed in the pool at one time was 5!!) Breakfast is not included and pricey.

This Holiday Inn is new and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Location is pretty central, with quick access to 65 and local attractions as well. The bed was comfortable and I liked the digital thermostat for temperature control. A microwave and refrigerator in the room was an added bonus that was very convenient. The only negatives I would submit: There was a chair in the room that I wish had been a more comfortable style and the bathroom door had to be propped open (closed automatically or on a spring of some sort).

The Red Roof Inn Louisville Fair and Expo is a good place to stay if you are looking for room close to the airport, inexpensive, and clean. The location is great for someone that needs a room before an early flight. The staff was freindly and accommodating. There's a Waffle House close by if you want breakfast.

Only needed a nights stay. Reserved non-smoking but only could get smoking. A/C leaked water on the floor. Light switch didn't work. Remote missing battery cover. Toilet paper the cheapest, thinnest you can buy. Extreme lack of customer service. Linens for the sofabed were not in the room, and they made us go down to the front desk to get them.
