Fairly priced, clean and well located.

I was in Georgetown on business. This location is well situated to all the highways, bi-ways and something called a by-pass. Room was clean, all things worked, staff was friendly and helpful and oh yeah, there was a tornado while I was there and they made me feel safe.

This was the third time we have stayed at this Super 8. It is located within walking distance of many nice restaurants and had shopping areas close by. The Kentucky Horse Park is just a short drive from the hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable and we really enjoy the complimentary breakfast. The main reason we first chose this motel is because they are pet friendly......

Description
Georgetown is a nice, quiet little historical town in the Heart of the Bluegrass. Conveniently located off I-75 at exit 129 the hotel offers nice comfortable rooms and excellent service. Toyota Plant just half a mile, outlet mall 3 miles and Kentucky Horse Park 8 miles. Come visit the Antique shops in our downtown area or try a round of golf at one of our area golf courses. We pride ourselves in excellent service.

We came down to stay a couple of nights in Georgetown, mainly to see the Cincinnati Bengals in their training camp at Georgetown College, which was a lot of fun. We wanted a cheap place to stay, and we got what we paid for. We won't stay there again.

Run down and needs some updates

We had a show at the Kentucky Horse Park and needed a place to stay this weekend. This hotel is 9 exits away from the horse park on I-75. We wanted to stay somewhere cheaper and this was definitely it. We stayed for $55 a night, which was about $20-$30 cheaper than hotels at Exit 126.
When we first got there, there wasn't a whole lot of parking and we couldn't park outside our room. We had gotten a king bed room on the first floor. The room was clean but the walls and furniture was looking about 10 years old. The beds needed new mattresses as the springs were pressing through the top. I kept thinking about the money I was saving though. After the first night we woke up early to a huge storm. When turning the lights on, me and my fiancee saw that an army of ants had made their way into the room and covered most of the wall and floor by the air conditioner. Flying ants were also present and were getting on the bed. The ants probably came in the room as soon as the storm hit, but they weren't noticeable until the lights were on. The person at the front desk was kind of resistant at giving us a new room and said we would have to wait for the manager to get there at 7am. We had to leave for the horse park at 6am, so this was unacceptable to wait. After a while I got another room, however it was a double full bed room on the 2nd floor.
In the evening we moved into our new room. Everything was the same quality as the first room, if not worse. The bathroom was smaller and the shower curtain rod was broken causing the shower curtain to fall. Overall, this room was definitely worse.
All in all, I would recommend staying at another place unless your budget really prevented it. Next time we stay in this area we are going to be spending the extra buck to stay a little closer to the horse park and in a little nicer place.

You can also walk to the Flea Market, Peddlers Mall, Outlet Stores, and Movie Theatre, located directly behind the hotel.

Spent the days at the Rolex Three Day Event, fantastic. Evening meals at Ruby Tuesday ( walking distance)
Breakfast was a little lean not much choice and food was not replenished.

Good location off interstate. Comfortable king size beds. None of the light switches worked and it was dark going in. Had to leave the door open while finding a light that worked (only the over-bed lights).
