We stayed at the new Sleep Inn and Suites in Cave City for 2 nights and were very pleased. Friendly staff, comfy beds, very clean, and the complimentary breakfast even inluded a "DIY" Belgian Waffle maker! Highly recomended as it is a mere 10 minute drive to the entrance of Mammoth cave vs. Bowling Green's almost hour drive. Only downer was this - YES they have an indoor pool but it is TINY! STAY HERE ANYWAY!!

Overall we enjoyed the stay! We decided on this hotel because of the price. It seemed to be a good value. We were looking for a hotel with microwave and fridge in the rooms and also included breakfast. The staff were also very polite and helpful. When looking for a place to eat dinner the lady at the front desk didn't hesitate when should recommended the Watermill to us and boy was she right! Thanks you Super 8 for a great stay!

At $50 a night our expectations were not very high and we were pleased with our stay. The room was a little tired but clean. A mini refrigerator and microwave are a must when we travel with our child and this motel had them in fine working order. The breakfast wasn't fancy but the coffee was fresh and hot and the donuts and bagels were good. The folks running the hotel were very friendly. We visited Mammoth Cave National Park which was very impressive. This was a pitstop trip for us driving from FL to Chicago and it was fun.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. TV was too small (19 inches maybe). Breakfast was store-bought tiny donuts, but the coffee was good. Staff was very pleasant.

We stayed as we where traveling home on a Friday night. When we arrived the lady working the desk was very friendly and had all our paperwork waiting. The room was a little dated but very clean and the staff was very nice. We payed less for this hotel then we did for the one we stayed at in Fl. and the room was much cleaner. If you don't mind out dated room and a firm mattress it was a good value for the money.

When we arrived we asked if they had availability and were told that the hotel was full up for the next three days because of spring break. We drove next door to McDonald's, got online and booked the room with [...]in less than five minutes. The hotel would not let guest check-in prior to 3pm, but when we waited in line until 3:30 we were able to go to our room. The room was very nice and comfortable...however, it was beside the pool which made it very noisy until about 10pm when the pool closed and things quieted done and we were able to sleep. All in all the hotel was great and fabulous...I just don't understand why we were told they didn't have availability and then we were able to book a room online...weird.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was good with several choices. The one thing this hotel was lacking was a hot tub. I would have expected that in a hotel at this price point.

The hotel was fine, but if you're looking for a town to have to go bar hopping stay in bowling green.

Clean room, not so friendly staff

[...] My parent's room ended up being a smoking room with a view of the stairs [...] My room was fine, but the grounds were barren and unfriendly. I would say a third of the rooms were not being used and half of the hotel looked abandoned. The continental breakfast was...well it left me wishing I had just went to McDonalds.

I requested a non-smoking room but my confirmation said smoking but with a request for non-smoking. My assumption was this was some way of tracking. When we arrived we were told we were in a smoking room. When I corrected/objected, the desk staff immediately went into how he was unable to change [...]. I said we'd check out the room before making a decision and ended up staying because it wasn't too bad. However, I wouldn't do that again because I ended up with smelly clothing and a sore throat. I'd love to know where the problem lies. [...] My real concerns are: why was he so quick to begin the defensive, pre-emptive 'you don't want to go there' routine? Why was the establishment unable to simply switch rooms? I would have gladly paid the difference. His reaction said that he experiences this all the time in one way or another.[...]

Friendly Staff, BUT Dirty Room

I was in Cave City for work, and I was rather disappointed with the Master's Inn. While the front desk staff was friendly, that was really the only thing I can point out as a positive about this hotel. The room was filthy (mold in bathroom), the AC barely worked, the internet was spotty (didn't always work), and we were given a room with a queen bed despite having booked a queen. While this wasn't the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, I would defintely not stay there again.

rooms where not very clean and missing items such as remote to TV. ash trays. Doors didn't work with key cards. Was moved 3 times before they found a room that had TV. remote, ash trays, and was half way clean till you enter the bath room. There was black mold growing around the soup dish and on the ceiling. There was no vent in the bath room, and the light shut off every 10 min. I have never stayed in such a nasty place in my life time. this place was not worth 1/4 the price...
