The Room was clean and the breakfast was ready at 6am. I would stay here again. The hotel is older and the rooms were dated. The staff was very helpfull and the location was great for me because, I was working construction down the street.

Was visiting town for parents weekend so we were not in the hotel long, and am glad we weren't. Room was musty smelling, a spider egg sack was found in the curtain when we closed it. Cold shower at 8:30 in the morning.....will never stay here again.

All the appliances in the hotel were extrememly out of date. Mold filled the corners of the bathtub and the sheets were not on the bed all the way. Trash was on the floor before we came into the room. Not a clean enviroment.

Great addition to Manhattan!

My son attends Kansas-State University and we make 4 to 5 trips to Manhattan during the school year. This community is growing tremendously fast and is in need of new hotels -- The Parkwood Hotel is a welcome addition and we will definitely stay there again! The location was great - just a short drive to the campus and "Aggieville", rooms were clean and sleek, beds incredibly comfy. The only thing I found a little frustrating was the elevator - only one - very large though, but, extremely slow, and that's the only reason I give this hotel 4 stars instead of 5.

My friend and I were in town for a run. The hotel was very clean and well-kept and the staff was courteous. They had us sign an agreement to be quiet after hours, which is a plus if you want to avoid rowdy college-town crowds. The breakfast was very good with a large selection. The hotel is next to the mall and walking distance to college and Aggieville.

For the most part, our stay was OK. I feel the price was a little steep for the condition of the room and the service. We checked in very late, and the front desk person wasn't very friendly. We asked him questions and got the same response, which was "I don't know". The room was not very clean. The bathroom had a strong odor of urine, almost like it was just wiped down. And the comforters had tons of visible stains on them. The location was good. And the pool and pub restaurant downstairs were nice. But not worth what we paid for our stay.

College visit with daughter to my alma mater. Hotel staff incredibly friendly and helpful. The remodeled hotel is quite nice; while there may be less costly options in Manhattan (KS), the combination of quality accomodations, good service and across the street from KSU can't be beat.

Brand new hotel with upscale finishes, super comfy bed, awesome wide screen TV in room, spa-quality sundries, more-than-promised "continental" breakfast buffet (biscuits with gravy, waffles, eggs)and super-friendly staff in KSU purple! No time to use pool & fitness room, but they looked great!

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding in Manhattan. We got the handicapped accessible room, being they were almost booked. The room looked nice, but there were bugs everywhere on the curtains, and the trains woke us up in the middle of the night! Taking a shower there could have been a disaster if one of us were handicapped. There was water all over the floor since there was no lip to hold back the water, and anyone could easily fall and hurt themselves!

The hotel and accommodations were good. But I got home and noticed that the hotel charged my card for the room AGAIN. I purchased a package deal of air fare and hotel and prepaid by you guys. I verified wit the clerk that this was prepaid when I checked in and he confirmed it was. So now I'm battling trying to get things straightened out.

Great place to stay if you are just looking for a place to sleep. No amenities. No clock, hair dryer, shampoos, kleenex and no goodies for breakfast. But it was a very pleasant stay and we did not need all the extras. Would stay again.

The staff was very Cordial and Friendly, good job. The room first day could have been a little more cleaner, but they had just got it cleaned and probably hadn't been inspected. The second day was much better and satisfied. The location to K-State, Shopping and Dining is excellent. My wife and I will stay again on our next visit.
