Over the years/ Great Bend became a center for the Kansas oil industry/ a training ground for B-29 crews during World War II/ and continues to reign as a center of commerce and recreation in central Kansas.

We left very satisfied with our stay. The price fit our budget, the rooms were clean, had full baths and plenty of linens for our family. It was nice to find a place that allow pets. The kids really enjoyed the indoor pool. There was coffee, milk,tea, juice, muffins, sausage and biscuits, cereal and an assortment of jelly filled rolls for breakfast. They were super friendly and accommodating.

Hotel has not been updated in years. first room had an oder they did change rooms but in general was really disappointed.

The hotel was very nice. The room was nice and large and we had plenty of room to put up a port a crib. It was a good location on the main street but was quiet and we enjoyed it. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed a good nights rest.

Hotel was good. Pool area and commons area also good. "The Page" (bar next door) was great place to eat and meet with family and team after wrestling meet. Perkins resteraunt was also next door and serves a great breakfast.

The rooms are average but seemed clean. We checked in late in the evening but had no issues. Did not have an opportunity to use the other property amenities.
