The A/C would not stay on. The bed had what looked like to be [*] stains on it and i did not feel overly safe.

The room had stained carpet, hole in the couch cushion, ants on the lavatory top and the bathroom stool leaked. No maid service - we booked the room for (2) nights and only rec'd fresh towels after asking for them - the bed was never made, trash not emptied, or soap replaced - no shampoo or lotion furnished. We were attending a family reunion and we were (l) of (4) rooms booked. Each party had basically the same feelings, however, we were the only lucky ones to have ants. Breakfast consisted for bite size powdered sugar donuts & cereal. Needless to say, none of us will use this motel again.

Staff was nice, room was just ok. It seemed like the carpet had some stains on it and the towels in the bathroom were not big enough to dry off with properly.

After driving 14 hours and ready for a good nights sleep, we were very dissatisfied with the condition of the room, the tiny pillows, the sheets looked like they had not been cleaned and the soap was so small that you could not even use it to soap-up a wash cloth. The air conditioner was so loud that it kept us awake most of the night. The morning breakfast of coffee and donuts found the donuts so hard that they had to be ran in the microwave in order to eat them.

The Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with directions, shuttles, places to eat. Even printed up info. directions on how to get to the derby.

Lovely rooms. Comfortable beds, nicely appointed and CLEAN! However, we had no phone service in our room, both phones completely dead. When I went to the front desk to report the issue she said, "Hmmm, I wonder what I'm supposed to do about THAT?!" We had cell phones so it wasn't a huge issue, but she did not instill a great deal of confidence in us as guests. Overall - great stay.

The hotel was a bit difficult to locate once arriving in Seymour. The signage for the hotel is minimal. The property was well kept and clean.

Great place to stay! The room was comfortable with decent internet access when we wanted to stay in and it is close to several dining options when we wanted to head out. It is also super close to a karaoke club which is a major plus.

The room was tidy and convenient for one night. I have to say the bathroom was not very clean. It is a decent place to stop and stay for a night during your travel. The distance from the freeway makes it very convenient. Also, they were very cooperative with late check in and extended check out.

Minimum cleanliness - toilet not up cleaned recently,stained at water line. Breakfast bar sub- standard. Other hotels in immediate area had lower advertised prices. East side of motel adjacent to noisy bar/tavern locaton.
