Good but....

Front desk was very helpful, Although it was a good experience staying there, but i believe someone from housekeeping tried to seekin my bag. I usually lock the bag, but on the last day when i returned it was showing 000 which is highly unusal. My vest kept on the top of the bag was missing :(. (wonder who would want to wear a used vest. I did not complained as i had to rush to the site.
But i would not like to stay there again considering the incident...

Decent Affordable, Accomodation

I spent one night at the Day's Inn in Richmond, Indiana, a facility I've stayed in previously during my weekends on campus for grad school. The hotel is a decent, affordable accomodation and obvious effort has been made to clean the hotel up.
The positives to the Days Inn are that it is one of the most cost-effective motel/hotels in Richmond and is reasonably clean with free cable and a light free breakfast. The staff has been friendly during each stay.
I'm a traveler in a wheelchair, and the Days Inn offers essentially two rooms that could be considered wheelchair accessible, though they will tell you they have a third (they are wrong. This third room is NOT wheelchair accessible). Unfortunately, even if you reserve an accessible room successfully, there's no guarantee it will be available upon arrival. Fortunately, I've learned to check on this before my arrival but it remains a source of frustration to arrive with the acknowledged need and see non-handicapped customers placed in these rooms.
If you stay here, I strongly advise you request a room at the front of the facility. They are very close to a railroad track and the train goes by at all hours of the night. Those in the back of the hotel will experience this throughout the night.
The rooms are fairly quiet within them. I had a loud next door neighbor during my recent stay, but the walls were solid and it was hardly bothersome at all. This is much better than is usually true for lower-end accomodations.
The free breakfast is essentially cereal, bagels and 1-2 different types of rolls. The bagels/rolls are "packaged."
By no means a choice for the traveler who needs the comforts of home, the Days Inn is an affordable, reasonably comfortable option for the business or student traveler on a budget.

The room waa very good, except two stars came off for a bed that was like sleeping on a concrete slab. Booked for a great price, but would not stay there again for this reason. Too bad - nice people an reasonably priced.

STAYED THERE ABOUT 12 YEARS IN A ROW FOR THE RACES AT ELDORA SPEEDWAY. MULTITUDE OF DINING CHOICES AROUND THE HOTEL AREA. ABOUT FIFTY MINUTES FROM TRACK BUT WORTH THE AMENITIES IN THE AREA

We had a pleasant stay at the Best Western Classic. The room was quiet and comfortable and had all of the amenities we needed (nice hot shower, soft and ample towels, and I believe free wireless internet). The location is extremely convenient and the breakfast buffet was better than average.

Nice hometown hotel

Room was much larger than anticipated. Included mini-fridge and microwave which were not expected. Bathroom was small and you had to step next to the toilet in order for the door to shut, but it was nice that sink was outside the bathroom. There was no mat on bathtub floor so it was slippery when you first stepped in but otherwise bathroom was clean. "Hot" breakfast was okay...menu items didn't change from day to day but taste was good. Convenient location to highway and restaurants/stores. Would stay here again.

Most of the bigger chain hotels were booked for the return to college weekend. For the price Lees Inn was a great stay for us. Clean rooms, friendly staff, with conveniences to good food and shopping.

We only needed a room for one night, but this hotel was pretty good. The pool was clean, clear, and not too crowded; however, the hot tub wasn't working. The exercise room had some nice equipment. The rooms were the average hotel room, but they were clean. The staff was excellent! Can't say enough about the pleasant staff (from front desk check in to the cleaning staff around the hotel to the maintenance man in the hall); they were all courteous and helpful. The only thing missing in my room was an ashtray as I reserved a smoking room. If you visit this hotel, the ties mounted to the walls with the little sayings from each owner is worth looking at, too! What a new, neat idea! Overall, my experience with this hotel was pretty good.

Comfor Inn Richmond

We take a yearly trip to a race in Rossburg, OH and stay in Richmond, IN. This is the sixth year for this event, we have been tryng to find a hotel to stay with every year. The one we used to begin with is under new ownership and is not very good. So the past couple of years we have tried other hotels. The Comfort Inn was a bit disappointing to me I must say.
We checked in late, had already made arrangements to do so. It was around midnight when we finally got there so we were looking forward to a shower and sleep. Unfortunately when we got to our room we found the bed had never been changed, dirty towels in the bathroom floor and the trash cans full. Returning to the front desk with this information we were given the "only other room availabe", a smoking room. We checked it out, the aroma was entirely too overwhelming. I went back to the desk and told him to just give us the sheets and towels, give us a discount on the room and we would take the original room. He left a message for the morning staff to get in touch with us about a discount and carried the sheets and towels to the room. He was even kind enough to help us make the bed.
After our day of racing and cooking out we returned to the hotel only to find no parking. The only space left was one that had a large SUV a foot over the white line. In the front of the parking lot there was a box truck parked horizonatlly taking up 5 spaces. We went in and asked if we could park in the grass and we were told we could park at the restaurant next door. My problem with that was that hey didn't share a parking lot. The parking lot was completely empty and not a single light. I was not at all comfortable with leaving my car that far from the hotel in a dark parking lot all night. The parking lot for this hotel is far too small to accomidate the size and capacity of this hotel.
The day we checked out we did get half off that first night stay which pleased me a great deal. The staff was all very kind and more than willing to assist.
