The hotel staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We chose this hotel because it was the least expensive in the area... everything was clean and tidy. The beds weren't that awesome, but we were only staying one night so it didn't matter that much. We would definitely stay here again. Bottom line is that if you're difficult to please, you'll probably find something you don't like about anywhere you stay! The air conditioning was awesome.
We didn't travel with any pets but the hotel was very pet-friendly. We saw a couple of labradors and another dog outside... we didn't hear them at all though and it didn't smell like pets.

The hotel was reasonably clean but needs updating. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location to the freeway was good. They were gracious in the acceptance of our dog. There is a nearby hotel and good walking area for the dog.

This hotel is OK. I'm glad I was just staying one night passing thru. The area is kinda sketchy. I was very nervous checking in - it was kinda dirty. I do have to say that the room was surprisingly pretty clean. I can't complain about that. The pool was kinda gross & the liner was very loose and crumpled up under your feet - that grossed me out. It was very crowded and people were way too rough in the shallow end where my 2 & 4 yr olds were trying to play. That wasn't the hotels fault of course - but it was annoying. Right across the street was a Best Western that looked much nicer - but I paid less than $100 on a Saturday night so I probably got what I paid for....

WE GOT A GREAT RATE AT THIS HOTEL AND IT WAS NEAR THE INDIANA DUNES, SO I HAVE NO ROOM TO COMPLAIN. THE ROOM ITSELF WAS NICE ENOUGH, CLEAN AND COMFY. THE BEDS HAD A TEMPURPEDIC TYPE MATTRESS. NOT SURE I LIKED IT, REALLY HARD. DID NOT EAT AT THE BREAKFAST, BUT LOOKED LIKE PEOPLE WERE ENJOYING IT. THE POOL AREA IS VERY NICE, AND HAS A NICE KIDDIE AREA A HOT TUB IN THE MIDDLE AND A POOL ON THE OTHER END. WITH FAMILIES THIS IS PERFECT, BUT LOUD WITH KIDS. THE HOT TUB WAS NICE AND HOT AND WORKED WELL. OVERALL I ENJOYED THIS HOTEL AND WOULD STAY AGAIN IF EVER IN THE AREA.

The hotel was cery nice and clean. We did not spend a great deal of time at the hotel but what time we did we enjoyed. The beds were very firm and the room was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was clean and very nice. I picked this hotel because it looked very new and had a nice pool for kids. We stayed for 4 days. I have 2 kids ages 8 and 1. We were in town from WI and forgot to bring a bed for the baby. The beds are very high off the floor so we had to buy a bed to use for the baby because the hotel did not have a crib or playpen (we travel a lot and most hotels have beds for babies) For the most part our stay was very nice. There were a lot of kids staying at the hotel and pool was a fun zone (very loud) so it would not be a good place for relaxing if thats what your looking for. Also, a little boy had a large accident in the pool on our second night and our family did not use the pool for the rest of our stay. The hotel has a nice breakfast room and good breakfast. The last night of our stay there was a thunderstorm and the power went out. The alarm clock did not go off in the morning so we were late leaving the hotel, but they do offer a wake up service that I wish we had used! For the price we paid I think it was a good value and I will go back again. The location is good and there are many dining options close to the hotel.

The hotel was very clean, modern but comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and eager to assist and please when needed. Very nice bathroom with sleek fixtures. The breakfast provided both hot and cold selections. It was very close to the beach.
