If you have a short overnight planned and just need a convenient clean place to lay your head, this may be it. It is a no-frills, no real lobby, strip mall hotel close to the colleges and the main roads.
The decor is dated, the front desk area had no a/c and the breakfast was just the basics but the room was clean, the parking was safe and the bed was comfortable.
We'd stay there again. Nothing special was ok for us this trip.

Room was neat and clean, and the common areas were adequately maintained. The staff was courteous and friendly. In general, given the short duration of our stay this was outstanding value for the money.

We came in for ND football game. Basically needed a place to crash. It was perfect. Close to restaurants, mall, 5 min. to campus. Staff very nice. Will def. come back!

onveniently located near the University Park Mall, shops, theatres and restaurants; many are within walking distance. University of Notre Dame is within minutes of the hotel. Large indoor pool, free deluxe continental breakfast and free high-speed Internet access. A friendly and attentive staff is among the many amenities that the Comfort Inn and Suites has to offer. Guests must check in with valid credit card. Must have 1 adult 21 years or older in each room. Pool closed for maintenance until Jan. 20, 2009.

Everyone we encountered was very nice. My only issues were that people were coming and going all night and insisted on slamming their doors. Also, the bed sheets felt stiff and the blanket felt like a wash rag.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Checking in was a breeze, finding our room was fast and easy. The room was clean and fresh, better than most hotel experiences. You couldn't hear your neighbors or any sound from the hallway. Check out was so simple! I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Great price and a very nice room. (Plus it had a fully working kitchen for those who like to prepare their own meals)

The room was great! It was clean and the small kitchen area was great also. Was walking distance from a nationally known bank and a coffe shop, easily access the rest of the town! Was defenitaly worth the price.

I was only spending the night and this hotel was decent for the money I paid. The room including the bathroom was very clean and that's really all I asked for. Breakfast was nothing big but had a couple bagels, cereal, and small things to get you through the morning. I would stay here again.

This is the second year in a row I've stayed at this hotel. The price doubled from last year to this year. I am not happy about that. The room is clean, the staff is friendly, continental breakfast is good. Location is good with easy access to highways, stores and restaurants. But if the price continues to double every year, I will find another place to stay.

We had read the reviews and knew what to expect...we were going to the ND game and this was the last room available in the area.
The non-smoking room smelled like smoke so I opened the windows for a while to air it out. We took our own toiletries, towels, hair dryer, and a roll of toilet paper. The room was basically nasty. I never took off my flip flops, even in the shower.
On game day I left my Kindle next to the bed on the nightstand....should have left it in the trunk of my car. The staff told me that it might show up in 'lost and found". I have alerted the Mishawaka Police about this- it's not the money, but the principle of the housekeeping staff or someone having access to your room to take what they want.
