Stayed on the way to and home from our grandson high school graduation. Both time the elevator looked like it had not been cleaned in a month, hallways also needed vaccuming. Breakfast bar was very few choices and no fruit. But for a basic place to spend the nite.

Have somewhere to eat in mind

The location is very easy to find and convenient to the interstate. The deserted ex-Dennys is not an indication of the hotel. The room is like any other hotel room and the beds are comfortable. I am very keen on ANY ordors and I did not pick up anything at this hotel. The carpet in my room looked like it was ready to be changed, but it was not dirty, except for a few spots left behind from something. The staff was responsive and helpful. I was visiting family very close by, otherwise you will have to look around for somewhere to eat or have fun. There are some restarutants, local fare, across the interstate easy to get to, but nothing within walking distance.

Nice simple hotel but hard to find

It was a nice accomodation but hard to find. Kind of hidden behind other hotels. For where it was and the limited facilities the price was a little high. I paid as much for this hotel as others in our group did for MUCH nicer accomodation in a very nice tourist area. I will say the the staff were very helpful.

We stayed for just one night and our room was available before the regular check in time. Not crowded at all so the front desk had great service. I especially liked how the clerk specifically came around the desk to personally hand me my key card and directions to the room, it was a nice touch. The room was nice and clean and the bed was exceptionally comfortable! Nothing much to look at outside, but the trip was so short that it didn't matter much. I would definitely stay there again, so glad I chose this hotel. I would say that the Club Level continental breakfast could be a little bit better, but it was fine.

We went down to Louisville from Chicago for the lady gaga concert and to enjoy the long road trip. The Sheraton gave us exactly what we wanted, great service, with a comfortable room and beautiful atmosphere. The staff was very helpful and offered us a free shuttle ride to the concert which saved us $20 and gave us free no cover charge slips to a club in 4th live street which saved us another $10. Had a great experience and will definitely be staying at Sheraton's more often!

Hotel was good but Orbitz was wrong

Orbitz was wrong about the room having a mini-fridge and also overstated the size of the TV. At the hotel, the front desk staff was extremely helpful. They switched our room when the tub faucet broke, even though all rooms were already reserved, and they were helpful with smaller issues, too. However, housekeeping was incomplete (did not sweep bathroom or clean sink).

Could not get 2 double beds. I told my sister to book her family on [...] and a day later she got a room with 2 doubles. Also, got there and we were given our room only to find a dirty room that the maid was just starting on. had to leave our bags in my sisters room to and get to out engagement so we would not be late.

It was conviently located and priced. The staff was helpful and friendly but that didn't make up for the condition of the room. It was clean but certainly worn--ripples in the carpet, stains on the wall, holes in the carpet, no slip strips in the tub peeling off and the tile and grout was a mess. The wifi worked but was week in my room.

From the street this motel looked very acceptable. But inside not so good. The building had been previously sold, but Days Inn was still operating it while their new Days Inn was being built next door. So I think they just didn't want to put any more money into maintanence or keeping rooms fresh and clean. Bathroom light & fan wasn't working and the sink was very slow to drain. And looked like a slow leak behind toilet, the floor was stained and damp. I'm sure the new Days Inn next door will be very nice when it's finished and opens.

We mostly slept because you could not order movies from the TV. Overall, we got what we paid for and it was a decent night stay. Bed somewhat uncomfortable, but what do you expect for the price?

Very quiet, Houskeeping did a good job cleaning the room daily, It did take them about 8 hours to get me some extra pilows, but it was still a peaceful stay away from the city, neighbors were quiet.

motel 6 has a courteous staff. room was clean. i am a smoker, and requested a smoking room. that is the only real complaint i have. i had to leave the door open because the room smelled so bad. it was clean, there were no bed bugs. the linens and bathroom were clean, but the odor even for a smoker was very strong. but oin the other hand., all i needed was a place to sleep and for the price it was a great value. especially considering the fact i was only 2.8 miles from downtown louisville. so it is a gret bargain. i will stay there again. 2.8 miles away the cheapest hotel i could find was 3 times the price. i will just request a non smoking room next time and go outside to smoke. but a good value for the money concious person.
