We were there to pick up our daughter at a nearby college. The hotel was only about 5 minutes from the campus which was perfect and it provided us with just what we needed; a clean, safe place for sleeping and showering.

A Very Pleasent Stay

We brought the whole family to Upland for Thanksgiving. All five our our adult children, two spouses and two grandchildren crowded into our daughters and son in laws home, and we decided we'd stay at a nearby hotel. We selected this this hotel based on reviews here and on on other websites and we were glad we did. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was a step up from the typical carb heavy free breakfast (eggs and sausage were included, along with the Belgian waffle option, complete with fruit topping and whipped cream). WiFi was free and easy to use. A small, indoor heated pool was a nice treat for the grandkids one morning. A hot tub would have been nice, but remember, this is a Best Western Plus in Gas City IN, so I wasn't expecting it. Rooms included a fridge and a microwave. Good shower head and water pressure. My wife said several times "I'm glad we stayed here. It's a really nice hotel." One tip - you might ask for a room on the end of the hotel farthest from the Interstate to minimize the sound of semis driving by.

We had a great time! The hotel was nice and the rooms were big. The indoor pool was clean, convenient, and fun for all. They had a full breakfast for the guests. The staff were very nice and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
