The room is much roomier than other competitiors. Love the free wifi anywhere in the hotel vicinity. The location at the price point makes it a great value-for-money. Only wish the walls are thicker as I always hear ehcos of people talking down the hall.

I was on mission to pick up a piece of equipment I purchased on Ebay. Orbitz put together a package that would have been impossible for me to have shopped out as an individual.
The Hyatt place is a five story facility with two elevators and an outside pool. I believe one of the employees said it was five years old. It is clean and like new. It is one block off of the main drag which is Coldwater Street a few blocks away from 69 heading to Mich and Indianapolis. Walmart and a multi store shopping center is behind the facility if you needed anything and all the desired fast food chains are near by.The Staff at the Hyatt was great. My mission of having to mfg. a crate to ship a large piece of equipment was hindered by the rain. Because the rain interfered with my construction i missed my scheduled return flight as i had to complete my project. American took great care to get me a later flight, though not as efficient as the first it was indeed sufficient and I was most thankful for their dedication. Thanks again to Orbitz.

Not many conveniences, such as a microwave or fridge, are provided, but the Wi-Fi worked fine and there was a treadmill for exercise. Breakfast was very basic. The computer in the lobby was not working while I was there.

The motel is an older building. The room was clean and quiet. Good TV, frig & microwave. The heat was a problem (5 to 15 deg outiside). It was either too hot or cold. We could not get the temperature set. Seems like the thermostat on the heater had about a 10 deg swing on each setting of the temp dial.

The hotel was easy to find. The beds comfortable and it met our needs. The coffee and tea were not hot; but the cereal and milk were fresh and tasty. We were enroute and only needed a place to sleep for the night. We really didn't use other amentities.

The hotel provided us opportunity to be close to our family at a very reasonable price and the facilities were very comfortable. They provided a nice breakfast but their seating was limited.

This is a luxurious hotel, from the linens to the dark wood. I can appreciate the cleanliness of the linens and towels as I work at a hotel and know it can be very difficult to keep these items white. We were impressed by the pool and hot tub also. They kept the temperature at a very comfortable temp.. We were able to dine at the hotel at a very nice restaurant and then enjoyed some time in their night club. It was nice that we didn't have to drive from place to place, it was all right there in the hotel.
Staff was very friendly.

Our party required 5 rooms, and the hotel thoughtfully put 4 of them right together, which made things easier for us.
A locally beloved candy company had decided to recast its molds and donated many boxes of chocolates to the hotel, which the staff served up on a pretty table in the lobby for one and all.
Lobby had quiet seating areas where we could get together with new friends and become better acquainted.
During the holiday season, our Internet access was free. And it was hard-wired, so you could use it even without a wireless card.
Rooms were pretty and appeared very clean.
Housekeeping didn't get around to us until afternoons, which was inconvenient for some of our party. Not for me.

The bathroom consisting of a toilet and shower was incredibly small, while the area with a vanity, sink and mirror was excessively large. The closet door didn't slide open.
The entire 8th floor was recently renovated and the rest was great. I highly recommend this location.

The hotel is older but clean and well kept up. The staff were friendly and the garage parking reasonable ($7/day). The room itself was nice and comfortable...everything within working order. The carpet should be replaced soon but it was still clean.

Good choice for business travel

I travelled to Fort Wayne on business and stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites for one night. I booked the King Suite because it was the same price as a regular room, and I was very glad that I did.
The room was large and comfortable, with a sitting room, kitchenette and seperate bedroom. The decor could use a some updating, and it was by no means luxurious, but it was clean and suited my needs perfectly. The bed was very comfortable, and there were plenty of pillows. The room had two good-sized flat screen televisions--one in the bedroom, and one in the sitting room--and the channel selections were excellent.
The front desk staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. I felt that they went out of their way to make my stay as pleasant as possible.
I would definitely stay in this hotel again if I were travelling on business.

My husband I attended a fitness competition. The hotel was in the best area, around restaurants and stores. I just wish the hotel had an outdoor pool, but overall it was nice.

We were visiting my wife's elderly relative and his family. Her cousin recommended this hotel, near the convention center. It was convenient, clean, organized, had a nice sports bar, and the beds were outstanding. I don't usually sleep well away from home, but did here. A nice touch was the computer and printer in the lobby to get your airline boarding passes.

If you're looking for a good night's rest at a value price, this is the place to go. The room was clean and fairly spacious, although some knobs were missing from equipment(making the AC hard to control). There are absolutely no amenities, but they're upfront about that in the advertising. There was very limited channels on the television, which was a disappointment since there was nothing else to do there. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping centers in this area. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay and would recommend it to others that merely need a place to rest.

The price of the room was good & it has a 24 hour McDonalds next door, which was a real bonus for me. The continental breakfast was basically coffee and a cookie - better to go next door to McD. Room was clean w/ kingsize bed, but sofa looked soiled & I would not sit on it. Inn is close to many shopping venues - bookstores, malls, groceries - you name it. All in all, it worked out well for me.

We really felt welcome with the night staff (Larry). He made us feel right at home and even called to check how the room was about a half hour after settling in. We attended a concert and got back to the hotel a bit late, but still felt safe after dark. The lobby and pool area were well-kept and looked very nice. However, there were some troubles with the morning staff. The breakfast bar lost power (I assume it was on a timer and still set for the weekdays), and it took the staff quite a while to fix the problem. The morning desk clerk was extremely stressed and was raising her voice to other team members in front of the breakfast guests. This was not the most pleasant exiting experience, especially compared to Larry's stress-free welcome the night before. The room was excellent and very comfortable. I would stay in a La Quinta again.

I was in town for business and chose this hotel based upon other reviews. It was a good choice. The room was nice, clean, a good size and pleasant. The breakfast did leave something to be desired. But the room and the staff were great. They frequently asked if they could be of assistance and inquired about my satisfaction. I was pleased. I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel in Fort Wayne (IN) was overall a good value. The room was clean and well-equiped, although the bed wasn't super comfortable. The TV image quality could be improved too. A little noisy when we got there in the afternoon, but very quiet at night. The breakfast was satisfying.

Nice hotel, but we reserved a King bed and only got a queen. Also, the remote didn't work, which was frustrating. Beds and linens very comfortable, room very clean. Overall a very nice stay.

I was there for a few days to visit friends. The location was too close to the exit ramp from the interstate and from my room (on that side) I could hear all the motorcycles and trucks as they exited. The air conditioning unit was also too loud as it would cycle on and off. Woke me up too many times. The room itself was wonderful. I enjoyed having the couch to sit on as I was in the room during the day a few times.

Very disappointing; Never again !

The computer was very slow ( I think they had dial up ! )and practically unusable. I was not given my bill or a newspaper the next morning, as most people, I noticed were. The breakfast was inedible ( I almost threw up afterwards ).
the room was not completely cleaned when i walked in ; there was stuff from the prior guest still there.

We visited the Allen Co. Library Genealogy department. Spent two days hunched over the computers and reading books. It was great to come "home" to soak in the hot tub and relax. Hotel was spotless and the staff were helpful and very kind and friendly. Great Continental breakfast too.

Traveling with a 90-yr-old in a wheelchair can be a challenge. The Candlewood suite provided plenty of space, a kitchenette for dining, and a roomy bathroom. The hotel's exercise room, pool, and computer room were well-maintained--a great way to keep up with my fitness routine and to relax. I'd definitely stay here again.

It was fine! We just slept there. We knew we would get in late (10:30 pm), and we had to leave by 8:00 am. Breakfast is not much. (Muffens, toast, english muffens, and coffee.) No juice! What do you want for $35.00. I don't think I would want to spend all day there, but to just sleep and leave, It was fine.

It was a smoking hotel which was what we wanted. This trip was just for my husband and myself to go have a good time and we only needed the room for sleeping.

the room was wonderful, the staff was friendly. I will definatlly stay at this hotel again. the bed and pillows were super soft and you just sink in them to get the good night sleep you need when traveling or visiting from out of town. I rate this hotel an 11 out of 10.

I traveled to Ft. Wayne to do genealogy research at the downtown library. The staff at the hotel were very helpful with offers of maps and places to eat.
I stayed at another Country Inn hotel in South Bend and was happy with that stay, also.

We had a very nice stay and very great service. I made a huge mistake organizing my weekend there and they worked with me to fix it. loved the food, pool, spa, and room. nice tv's comfortable beds. nice bathrooms, and a very nice bar again.... nothing to complain about. except there wasnt a ice machine on my floor. but that didnt bother me.

this place is right off the main hwy (interstate 33) you can hear all kinds of noise. There are two strip clubs on either side of this motel . the day I arrived
I was greeted with 2ft of snow and when that happened, This place was not clearly marked .
The manager really liked it when it snowed , as he
did not have any problem dumping snow on my rental car while he was clearing the sidewalk.
If I visit again , I will stay somewere more quiet!

Very clean, good continental breakfast. Pool has no jaccuzzi. My card wouldn't open the exterior door, which was a slight inconvenience.

The hotel itself was clean althought the cleaning staff didn't clean the room everyday. The pool hours seem short 9am-9pm. The Continental Breakfast was great for adults and kids. The location of the hotel was good for what we where visiting for - easy on/off the highway.
