Location was easy to find 35 miles from Bloomington. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the weak point. Waffle iron didn't work and only one half of both toasters worked. It made for quite a wait if you wanted to toast anything. If you don't want breakfast this is a good place to stay.

Trying to find fault - but cannot.

I never stay at LaQuinta but I did this time. This is not an upscale hotel but it is pretty nice and very clean. What impressed me the most - it's right next to an expressway and I didn't hear a thing! That is unheard of these days (no pun).

Great place to stay!

Our family had a great time. We were looking for a place to stay with an indoor pool that was between the Outlet Mall in Edinburgh and Nashville, IN for a weekend get-away. This was the perfect one! We had fun in the pool. It was a bit small but sufficient. The customer service was first class! I highly recommend this Hotel and we will stay here again.
We booked a King size bed with a hideaway. The hideaway was too small for two children. I asked the front desk if we could move and they happily gave us a room with two double beds. The breakfast bar was very good; many options to choose from.

Staff was most helpful and the maid service and breakfast was super. The guest room could use a few more appointments including an additional mirror. There was a mirror over the lavatory, but the closet door mirrors immediately behing made it difficult in grooming situations, a mirror over the dresser would have been beneficial. Also lighting in the room had to be turnedd on at the fixture itself, a remote switch at the entry would have been more convenient. We enjoyed Columbus, with it's unique architecture and Abe Martin State park was a beautiful scenic event along with an interesting visit to the Art Colony/Tourist Attractions in nearby Nashville.

We stayed here passing through even though we saw the bad reviews. These reviews cannot be true! The rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly. I was told they have been bought and under new management now. 50 bucks and hot waffles for breakfast! Awesome deal!!!! Definitely recommend trying this one!!!

Great hotel

The hotel was "classier" looking than I expected, especially for the money. The restaurant had a good selection and great prices. The pool and whirlpool were nice. The air conditioning kept the room very comfortable. The only negative things were that 1) I was booked in an outside entrance room, but got one at the top of a short flight of stairs, but it actually turned out to be very nice and private there.
and 2) I was told there were no refrigerators, even though other people I knew had them so I had to use a cooler.
Very nice hotel and highly recommended.

Quite nice. Came for wedding and reception. Seeing the window displays with antiques, looked for small shop that sold antiques. Loved the bakery. How about an ice cream parlor? Loved seeing the barbershop. The small personal items for sale could be one of these shops, antique or ice cream. Hotels can put small items in vending machines some where on premises. This Holiday Inn has such an inner theme, put something outside to reflect that same theme!

Nice Hotel in a Nice Location

Stayed at the Columbus, Indiana Residence Inn while seeing the lovely leaves of Brown County turn. And we shopped in Nashville like we always do on our anniversary weekend - this one being number 45. Very clean hotel, great continental breakfast. Friendly guests and staff. We travel a lot and this is one we come back to stay. And take that back road trip to the Story Inn for a great dinner evening!

Very nice hotel

We have stayed in several hotels in Columbus in the past, but this will be the only one we stay at from now on. The rooms were big, clean and the beds very comfortable. Although pets are welcome, we did not hear any or see any evidence that they were there. The doggie ambassador, Miles, was a big hit with my boys. The pool was small, but fit our needs. This is a lovely hotel and close to many things downtown.
They even have a Starbucks in the lobby.

Located near lots of shopping. Great girls get away. So nice to come back and relax in such a great environment. Beds are very comfortable. The atmosphere is just amazing. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

Decent Room for Money

The room real basic but comfortable. You can tell it's been remodeled with paint and some new wall paper but remids you of cheap motel. Clean enough for me but wife wouldn't have cared for it. Minor repairs needed to be done to make it a finished room (like shower curtain hanging by one screw. I would stay again with the guys but probably not bring wife & kids here.
