This was my second time at this hotel. It's located right next to the University of Illinois. Well-connected by road and air. Huge parking lot, friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfast. I am giving a 4-star rating instead of a 5-star because I found the air-conditioner temperature not low enough: it's programmed to not go below 65 and I found it warm.

This is a value hotel. For a place to just spend the night, this hotel fills the bill. Staff was pleasant and knowledgable. Continental breakfast was minimal, but okay. No surprises here, either good or bad.

The place was nice, simple and clean. It was hard to find a room on such a busy weekend, so we were worried, but it turned out to be a good hotel. Great location near campus. The free breakfast was basic, but free. The pool is tiny, not that we used it. Overall, the accomodations were good.

The hotel seemed pretty nice and was fairly clean. We unfortunately were next to the pool and it was very loud at night until the pool closed.
We did not get towels one of our days and had to call two times to get any.

I was in town on homecoming weekend (the 100th anniversary) for the Fighting Illini to interview for medical school. The hotel sent a free shuttle to fetch me from the airport and to take me to my interview. The front desk could not have been more accommodating. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. There was only one working computer so BYO!

Nice place, nothing flashy

We stayed at the Ramada while moving from one apartment to another in-town, so we had to make it our temporary home. For a short stay, it wasn't bad, as there is a mini-refrigerator and a functional microwave (a somewhat old one, one without a digital display).
Room service is very efficient and does a good job---clean towels and a made-up bed everyday.
The room itself is also fairly pleasant: the furniture provided was a little old and worse for the wear, but plenty functional and comfortable.
The pool and hot tub were also nice, about average for a hotel of this size. Piles of towels are available and few people use the facility, so you should have it all to yourself.
The exercise room consists of a small space half the size of a typical hotel room with a treadmill, bicycle machine, and a weight-lifting machine. A bit skimpy but it is sufficient for a brief workout. There is also a television in the exercise room.
The breakfast they provide is nothing to be excited about---few fruits and the cereal is stale often times. However, you can make a waffle for yourself and the breakfast area is nicely appointed.
Overall, a good hotel.

We were in town for an event and had many choices as to where we could stay. I was very happy with this hotel. The price, convenience and cleanliness were very good. My only wish was there would have been more restaurant choices closer to this hotel.

Overall good experience. Room got a little small and hard to move around with the sleeper sofa out. Pool is small. We went on a holiday weekend to let our daughter swim and the pool was crowded with us and 8 other kids in it. Other than that, it was a very clean and well kept hotel that we will look to stay at again.

We were in Champaign for the state wrestling tournament and it was a great experience. We got in late around 10 pm and were tired. They checked us in quickly, the room was awesome, the flat screen TV has nice, great water pressure from the shower and finally, the breakfast (waffles, omelets, sausage, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, coffee, etc.)was awesome.

Room very spacious and clean. Maids did an excellent job.
The location is great because you can take a bus or have the hotel shuttle you to and from campus (which is just due south a mile and a half).

Not as good!
Child was playing games on guest computer with the approval of her mother and the Holiday Inn reception desk person. I needed to use it to print airline boarding passes. My express checkout statement was not delivered prior to my departure. My room key was cancelled out after my first night's stay. The sum of these shows service that is not up to what I am accustomed to receiving at most Holiday Inns.

This property has been newly renovated in 2009. We are located within a mile from the University of Illinois. We are also located across from Carle Hospital, a gas station, and also a number of restaurants. We provide friendly service.

This was labeled a 3 star. Not even close. It is a place people that cannot assistance go to sleep. I will never stay there again, even though it was close to the hospital. I would take it off your site.

This hotel was ok. Clean and simple. A quick stop located close to a lot of local restaurants as there is no breakfast in the morning. Room do have tvs and cable. Relatively loud hallways though. You can hear everyone as they walk past in the halls.

I was impressed with the comfort of the bed.The staff was friendly considering it was a late check in. The down side the room might need to be updated sometime, but overall we were happy. We will stay there again on a late game day. The price was normal

The motel did not have amenities. I stayed at the Ramada Inn and they have a large screen television, microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, coffee, tea, and an iron and ironing board. Super 8 did not have any of these. The Ramada was immaculately clean had a fluffy bed with 4 pillows, the Super 8 did not have this. I ended up letting someone else who was on the trip have the room and I went to the Ramada accross the street.
