We asked for a handicap room but didn't get it which made it very difficult for my wife, mainly the low toilet. There also were no luggage carts at the hotel which made it rather difficult as we have trouble walking. The room was well equipted with a microwave and refridgerator., a very nice HDTV with good programming. The beds were very clean and extremely comfortable.. The room was a little small but sufficient for us. The water was hot and the room had a very good a/c. The noise from all the trucks from the adjacent truck stop bothered us a little but after awhile, we didn't even notice it. The breakfast in the morning was typical but it was also very fresh and tasty. The staff was very friendly. We will return on our next trip.

beds are very comfy, it is super quiet at night. you do not hear any outside noise,no tvs,toilets flushing,voices. secure and reasonable. I have been there twice and willgo again next year.

the hotel was very clean even though there was some redecorating going on and the wind blowing so strong caused the plastic that was covering the window to be a bit noisy at times. The staff was very friendly; the front desk called approximately 45mins after we arrived to make sure everything was ok. The location was easy to find and the hotel is in an area where you really don't need to travel far for good food. They also had complimentary breakfast, free parking, a free newspaper @ your door every morning. The only negative is the whirlpool was being fixed and my wife and I were looking forward to spending sometime in it; aside from that everything was perfect.

One of the best hotel stays I have ever experienced. The staff was extremely friendly and even offered us fresh cookies at check in. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was super comfy and the floor we stayed on was very quiet. The free breakfast was wonderful. I cannot think of a single negative with this hotel.

The hotel was somewhat hard to find as it was behind some other businesses along the street. Accommodations were comfortable and the continental breakfast was better than many we have experienced. It was close to some of the popular restaurants. We would recommend this hotel.

Didn't find out the handicapped rooms 4 smoking on 2nd fl. no elevator till we got there. They didn't care gave me room not marked no smoking but were told sarcastically we should've known due to no ashtray There wasn't any tissue or T.P. either what did that mean? Sign that says no need to make bed also means don't vacumn or remove/replace the towels which were so rough the skin on my eyelids was scratched off and no concern from staff when informed would give me a form but couldn't bother to open a door for a paralyzed person. Couldn't reach over sink in room to turn on bathroom light make coffee or use hair dryer but they did comply by having handrail around toilet and one in tub.

When I arrived, the hotel did not have my room reservations even though I had a copy of the confirmation reservation through orbitz. There was no laundry facility on the premises. There was no desk, chair, or clock in the room. The hotel towels were dingy. However, the location was perfect; off the expressway and next door to a popular restaurant and gas station.

It was bad from the beginning, When we checked in the front desk clerk said he had never seen a rate so low and was not going to honor the Orbitz price, he was turning us away (keep in mind the room was already paid for), After some complaining by us he called the 'manager' who apparentlly told him to honor the rate. The room wasn't clean and was supposed to be non-smokimg yet reaked of smoke. The bed was awful and the box springs were actually falling apart. It was hot and musty in the room and it litterally took hours to cool off. The light bulb on the lamp in our room was actually falling off. There was no phone in the room so we had to go down to the front desk to request extra pillows which the front desk clerk said he would bring to our room (which he never did). The shower was really icky. In fact, it was so bad I waited until after I was out of the shower to put in my contact lessons -- I didn't want to see what I was facing. Stay at your own risk. I'd say they should change their name to America's 'Wors't Inns. There are many small, inexpensive places to stay the right on the same block that looked much nicer and probably weren't too much more per night.

The staff was exceptionally nice. The rooms were a little run down. Many easily accessibly restaurants nearby. For a one night stay, It was worth the money.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Pool area with hot tub was great clean very laid back atmosphere. The only complaint i have is that there breakfest doesnt have alot of things like most hotels have but they do have waffles.

On Friday April 27th we had reservations at the Econo Lodge in Marion, Illinois. The room was horrible. The furniture was worn out and dirty. The toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a century. The room had a horrible odor. The pillows were flat and worn out. The sheets smelled like smoke and filth. The whole motel smelled dirty and looked it, the elevators were dark. The room air conditioning didn't work at all. I would never recommend this to anyone to stay.
