Description
Red Roof Chicago Downers Grove is conveniently located off of I-88 at Butterfield Road, near Yorktown Mall, Good Samaritan Hospital, College of DuPage, DeVry University, and Oakbrook Mall. A great location convenient to Lombard, Downers Grove and Oak Brook, this hotel is located within walking distance of a movie theater and many great restaurants.

Was not very happy with our stay. We got what we paid for! The bathroom stunk like urine enbedded into the vinyl flooring. I even covered the area with towels and still stunk. No breakfast, no pool, no fitness center. There was coffee down stairs in the lobby but it was old and stale. There was also no ironing board or iron to use. No coffee maker or microwave either. It's rare that you don't see any of those items these days. The mattress was cheap and flimsy also! Wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend to friends. If I was traveling and just wanted to sleep before getting on the road, and that was all I found open, then I might reconsider. But otherwise, stay away from this place.

Friendly, helpful and accomodating staff. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Plenty of very nice restaurants and shopping near by. We will definitely stay there in the future.

Conveniently located in the heart of DuPage County at the intersection of I-355 and Butterfield Road. With easy access to all major area expressways and tollways, we are 20 miles directly west of Chicago and approximately 30 minutes from both O'Hare and Midway airports. With the Metra commuter train 3 miles aways, we have a perfect location. Our shuttle bus goes up to five miles around our property from 8:00am to 5:00pm. 24 hour advance notice is required from guests wishing to use this service. Must have 1 Adult 21 years or older in each room. Do not request rollaway beds. Pet Accommodation: 10.00 USD per night, per pet. A maximum of 2 pets per room.

Good place to crash!

Nice clean spacious room. I didn't use pools or workout room so I can't comment there. Only downside was the entire building was cold. I was able to adjust the thermostat in my room, but couldn't stay in the bar for even 1 drink due to the temp.

Great room for the value. Really nice suite set up, only furniture was little bit old. Nice spacious gym with pool and jacuzzi. Charge for internet was a big minus.
