Arrived late at night and had a bit of trouble finding the hotel - it is situated on a little side road that is basically parallel to but down lower from the main road (Market St.). I slept in due to my late arrival time, so I did not make it to the complimentary breakfast. Breakfast only ran from 6 - 9 am on weekdays, however; it would have been nice if ran until 10am. (Breakfast does run from 7 - 10 am on weekends according to the sign.)
On the other hand, the hotel staff were really friendly and helpful and my room was great - clean and spacious!
Overall, good experience - I'd stay here again!

Asked for 2 non-smoking rooms when I booked. We ended up in 1 smoking room the first night. I had to keep the sheet over my head so I could breathe something besides stale cigarettes. We moved to a non-smoking room the next day

We were hesitant to stay there, not having ever been to this hotel before. But we were pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff was very friendly. There was a refrigerator and microwave in the room as well. We would stay there again.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. I suppose I shouldn't be upset with the fact that our room key kept expiring and we had re-visit the front desk farily often. (The staff remained friendly)
The breakfast was pedestrian but adequate.
We travel under the rule that one spends almost all of one's time in a motel room with our eyes shut (asleep).
It certainly met our needs and we will probably staty there next time we get back to Normal

The room was clean and had everything I needed such as a microwave, fridge, and free wi-fi. Everyone was super nice that worked there. It wasn't extra special or anything and the bed kinda sucked but for just sleeping and showering it was good. For what I paid, I expected a lot worse. And the location is right off Veterans and by a lot of restaurants.

Everything was fine until we went to check out pool and were told it was closed due to renovation. We were told we could use pool in hotel next door, which we did, was cold walking back to our room. We went to bed, had a good nights sleep, had left a wake-up call for 5:30, because there were (3) in room to get ready to go for breakfast and then to be at graduation at 8am to get seats, the ceremony was at 9am. We then recieved a phone call from front desk, saying there was a complaint that we were too noisy, don't know why, when all we did was try and get ready to leave. We were (3) adults. This left us very upset as we left.Clerk apologized, but still not happy with situation. We are both in 70's and one grandaughter , 26.

Although it was a short stay the staff was very friendly and helpful. The property was fresh and clean and conveniently located to everything. Would not hesitate to stay there again. Actually already planning a trip next month and will be staying at this property. It was nice to stay where a room that accommodates 4 is one price and not priced for 2 with extra person charges. I appreciate the desk, computer hook up and small sofa in the room. A weary business traveler likes to feel they are at home, and not a hotel room. This felt like home! Actually, better bed than at home! For the price of the room, it was a great value.

Friendly staff. We actually went to Bloomington to attend the state finals for our grandaughter's cross country team. The hotel was less than 15 minutes away. We found a great place to eat - Lucca's, about 3 miles down the main street. Another hoteol website could only give a choice in McLean, about 15 miles away.

The lobby to the hotel is lovely. As are the banquet rooms. However, if you're looking for a good breakfast you'll want to travel away from the hotel. Powdered eggs, uncooked hash browns, and slimy sausage. It was...unappetizing to say the least. The staff is friendly enough. Room service is nearly non-existent so don't look to pamper yourself in the rooms. As far as the experience overall, I could have gotten better at another hotel. We will not be returning to the Chateau again. I would not recommend it.

Hotel was in need of maintenance. Not the best hotel we have stayed in but certainly not the worst. I would stay again if I needed too. Staff was very friendly. Good service. Rooms smelled a bit.

Nice interior rooms for the money

I booked an exterior access room because of its lower price, but it turned out to be much less nice than I expected. We approached the front desk about paying for an upgrade, and an employee gave us a much nicer interior room free of charge because we were unhappy. This was my first experience with this hotel chain, and I was impressed. The breakfast had hot items (waffles, biscuits and gravy) and the pool was nice, albeit unheated.

Great room with a couch in a separate area, very nice TV and good sized refrigerator. Very clean and quite. Outstanding value, good coffee and nice breakfast

Stayed 2 nights while attending the State Special Olympics. For the most part it was a good hotel. The room was clean the bed was comfortable. The bed cover had spots on it. (Tossed on the floor, and didn't sleep under it.) Breakfast was OK, but hey it's free. there were plenty of resaurants near by, as well as stores and a movie theatre. Was only a 10 minute drive from the ISU campus.

We just stayed one night but it was great! We weren't sure if the breakfast was complimentary so we ate at the IHOP right next door when we left.

The only large issue I had was the bed was very HARD. Breakfast was so,so, nothing to note.
Room was quiet, but the pool didn't open till 10am, checkout at 11.

In 2006 the hotel was totally renovated with new furniture, carpet, paint and all. The hotel is in a great location at a major intersection; and close to the airport. It was quiet with comfortable beds. The pillows reminded me of bite-size Snickers. Neither the shower drain or the bathroom sink drain worked. The air conditioner worked overtime just to keep the room tolerable. No added bells and whistles at this hotel. Definitely not worth the price.

Great Stay at Eastland

We stayed in a basic room with queen bed. The room was very nice, it was clean, bed was comfortable. The room was an ok size, not large but not too small. The service was wonderful. We had a problem with a hair dryer at 9 p.m. at night and they had someone up in our room within 5 minutes with a new one. Complimentary breakfast the next day was great. The hotel is close to lots of restaurants, shopping, easy access to the highway. Overall, great experience and I'd recommend it to anyone. I'd definitely stay there again next time.

The room was spacious and very nicely decorated. I was happy with the overall quality of the room and it was very clean. It was nice to have the kitchenette as well in the king suite and I would certainly stay there again.
