What travelers to Arlington Heights are saying

I was there for my high school reunion, so I drove through town reminiscing about the good old days, marveled at all of the development over the years and met friends who still live there. The hotel was close to some great places to eat - Portillo's, a short drive down the street, and Jameson Charhouse which you could walk to right next door.

Just stayed overnight. Wouldn't recommend if visiting Chicago and need to move around in the city. Ok for o'hare but still not quite close enough to airport and no train or bus convenience. Also Lots of construction in area freeways. Seemed a safe area day and night.

Overall I think the area is very good. This area sits in the northern suburbs of Chicago. There are many amenities nearby. Downtown Chicago is not too far away...less than an hour. The area is not run down or anything like that. Mostly looks as if recently upgraded.
