Perfect for the cost. It's nice to stay at a hotel and not have it cost a fortune. We only needed a place to spend the night and start out again in the morning. It was a very "average" breakfast. Not alot of options and the staff was not real quick to re-stock the items. But, I guess I knew that when I booked the room, so it wasn't a surprise. Would definetly stay there again.

This was a great place to stay for a weekend get away. The hotel was quiet, the staff were great, and the room was neat and very clean. We would definately stay again.

Warm (not hot) coffee and not a newspaper to be found? Seriously? Those are 2 things that are pretty tough to mess up.

We are is convinently located on the West side of Des Moines with quick and easy access off of Interstates 80 and 35. All rooms include microwaves, refridgerators, irons and boards, and coffemakers. We also offer a sesonal outdoor pool, WIFI, and continental breakfast. We are near Drake Univ and the Des Moines Art Ctr. Adventureland USA, IO State Fairgrounds and the Des Moines Int'l Airport are within 15 miles. The Metro Ice Sports Facility, Beaver Creek Golf Club, the Civic Center of Greater Des Moines performing arts center, and Jordan Creek Town Center are nearby.

At first glance for the money it seemed alright.
But as we settled in there was a lot of maintenance
that need to be done. The headboard on the bed was
falling off the wall. Light bulbs that didn't work.
The faucet for the tub and shower came out of the
wall when you pulled it on. Caulking was coming off
and moldy. Very poorly maintained. Also the door
stuck to the rug when you tried to open and close it.
Won't stay there again.

The location worked for where I needed to be.Not close to any food or shopping.The rooms were ok for the price except my fridge didn't work.The staff didn't speak very good english and was hard to understand.

overall the hotel and staff were very pleasant, although i was very disappointed in the breakfast they provided. i was really looking foward to it and it was a complete let down.

Front desk staff top notch. Upgraded the room, helped with cabs, confirmed departure flight, arranged late check-out, brought snacks while we waited, etc. Anticipated our needs without being pushy.

A nice location easy access to interstate. Unfortunately it was very noisy. room above us you could hear people WALKING. Outside the door you could hear conversations. :(

Overall, the stay was good and served my purpose for a brief overnight business stay. Good value in that sense. Apparently, someone checked in at 4 am right above me, and it sounded like they were playing football until about 6 am. So, that has tainted an excellent review. I did call staff, and they said they would take care of it, but didn't want to make a second call.

went to adventureland
The staff was not super friendly. The cleanliness of the room was not great. The floors could have been vacuumed. The ice machine on 2nd floor was broken, the garbages needed bags in them, there was no ice bucket in the room, and the shower head is the height for someone under 5 foot.
