The room was so much more than we were expecting! The bed was so comfortable, also enough nice soft pillows to boot! Well arranged great flat screen with web tv! Refrigerator nicely placed in a cabinet. Good quality soaps, shampoos ect. The buffet was excellent AND clean! I almost want to give it a five star, for the area and state but I have been to Vegas and stayed at Caesars so a HIGH four stars, especially for the price!

We were on our way from the East Coast to West Coast and needed cheap, by-the-highway places to stay. This hotel was great for that, the room and bathroom were both clean. The coffee could have been stronger and the breakfast was minimal, but none the less available to start our day.

This hotel served its purpose. The location was disapointing. The area seemed older and run down. It was easy to find and to get to, just had to drive to do anything. The room was clean, bathroom and sink area was fairly newly done. Beds were kind of old and small. Front desk was very friendly. We had everything we needed except a refrigerator. Only reason I wouldnt stay again is location.

I visited for one night while going to the Lady Gaga concert in town.
Pleasantly suprised upon walking into the room. Very clean. Friendly staff. Bedding was so nice I want to find out where I can buy it-very soft. Luxury for a great price-I'd definately stay there again.

The hotel was nice and clean, the room was great. I was excited to discover that the breakfast includes make-your-own waffles, so the breakfast bar gets 5 stars from me. Although, I was sitting in the lobby watching Good Morning America, enjoying my waffle, when a front desk clerk *RUDELY* turned the channel at a pivotal moment of high intensity when something really good was just about to happen. They could have asked the guests or waited until the commercial break to turn the channel, but no they did not. I was most unappreciative of that.

The hotel service was excellenr from the front desk to the housekeeping. It was convient for us when we went to the Horseshoe.
We also enjoyed swimming in the pool & soaking in the hot tub. The workout room was the bomb.
It was one the best hotel experience I've every had. It was very enjoyable & would do it all over again.

We when to the Ameristar casino,We had two problems my kids were asleep and then the fire alarm whent on it was very lough and we where worry if something was wrong there was nothing they said that someone push the alarm. well then only one elevetor was working on one side it was not nice.

Reservation was a bust!

Upon arrival at the hotel @ 10:30 pm, we discovered our room was given to another guest. Somewhere between [...] or the hotel, our info got mixed up with some other woman's name, and we got charged for our room while she was in it. The manager offered the only remaining room but at no discount and with no good explanation for the mixup. Our family ended up canceling the reservation and finding another hotel. The whole process took 2 hours, and our children were exhausted getting to bed at 1am. Not a good way to prepare for a trip to the zoo! Very disappointing considering we had trip confirmation from [...]. The customer service rep. we contacted that night even admitted that a "[...]" got listed on our reservation. Have no idea who she is!

We were there to celebrate New Years Eve at the area's Casinos. The location is off of the beaten path and is centrally located between the different casino choices. They do not offer shuttle service of their own which can be a disadvantage. Appreciated the quiet easy going location.

We took advantage of the casino shuttle which was nice,convenient and reliable. The room was very nice, roomy & clean. Early in the morning(@ 5:30 on a Saturday) we awoke to some people making enough noise to wake us up.

Unbeatable location for the price

Stayed 4days and 3nights wasn't the fanciest hotel we stayed in but for the price and the location couldn't beat it. Less than 10 minutes from the main attractions in Omaha, warm pool, clean rooms, very nice staff, Free computer access, and never had a problem with parking (as some comments before had talked about) We had a GREAT vacation and will staying at that hotel on all are family trips to Omaha :)

We arrived late and it wasn't super easy to find since it is located behind a gas station and in a strip mall like development, but when we did find it, the experience was very pleasant. (noting the street number was helpful in finding it since sign wasn't prominent.)
After a long drive my kids were indeed welcomed with a fresh cookie and coffee was available in the lobby. And three different front desk staff we met were all very polite and friendly.
The room had a bathtub, and although there was no drain stopper the staff at the counter had one we could use ready and giving the kids a bath was easy. 100 pct non smoking was also a bonus.
The pool was closed during our stay in Feb 2011.
The in room air conditioner was a little noisy, but easy to turn off and we slept well.
Breakfast was simple compared to some big int'l chains but very good with some great biscuits and gravy and also toast, bagels, cereal and juice options.
We will stay again and reccomend our friends and family staying in the area to download a map and give this a try.

Reserved non- smoking rooms and were put in rooms that were in a smoking area and reeked of smoke. One even had an ashtray in it!

Came into town for RAGBRAI (huge bicycle event) and they didn't have my reservation. They had my teammate's, and I had a copy of my confirmation. Luckily they had a room available. The staff was very helpful in giving recommendations for dinner. They opened the breakfast hours early (5 AM) for us bikers as we headed out for the start of our week long 447 mile ride.

We stayed at the Council Bluffs Super 8 for one night while we spent an evening at the casinos close by. Our room was clean, and the hotel staff friendly and helpful. It was a great, no-frills overnight experience.

Small rooms annd not very clean. Someone had a dog in their room and it barked during the night. The remote for the TV was disgusting. The continential breakfast was not anything special, not as good as many chain hotels.

We stayed there 3 days for the College World Series. We were apprehensive after reading some other reviews but found they were just negative people. The room was very clean, quiet, and close to everything. We did notice the smell of smoke when going by smoking rooms but ours was non-smoking and no problem. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Large fitness center. Would definitely stay there again.

Adequate accomodations in Council Bluffs

Arrived with no reservation but with a discount coupon from a rest stop motel guide. It was honored with no hassle to get the rate down to just what I wanted. Check-in attendant was pleasant. Room was clean and otherwise adequate. Wireless Internet worked well. Included breakfast was not memorable, which means neither good nor bad.

Really it was a good value for the money. The hotel and rooms were clean. The bathroom had mold and mildew and was outdated. Guess you can always find something to nit pick... I would stay again.

Value Place is an extended-stay hotel. Our rates are priced for a minimum one week stay,and are not adjusted to a daily rate if the stay is less than one week. When your stay goes into the nest week, another weekly rate is charged.
