The Carter Lake Eppley Super 8 is close the the airport. It is very convenient and I was leaving early in the morning so the location is great. The bathroom was large and the room clean. It has a decent cable TV selection.
Noisy: It is fairly noisy; you will hear others going down the halls from your room, doors slamming shut and toilets flushing throughout the night. Pretty much par for the course at a Super 8.
It was nice that the morning breakfast started really early (3am). I have been places where it didn't start til after 8 or 9 and I had to leave for an early flight. The coffee was 'meh' though.
The road leading to the hotel was all ripped up with construction, and if I hadn't been there before it might have been pretty confusing to find the entry road, so be aware.

Great Place To Stay By The Airport

Very clean hotel, staff was friendly. Only part of our stay that I was disappointed in was the hot breakfast they offer in the morning. Like in other hotels I stayed in, this one did not offer bacon or breakfast sausage as part of their breakfast. Beyond that I would definitely stay here again.

Nice desk worker in evenings. We were in town to do a college visit. Had some very nice comments about university. Good sense of humor, fun. Met us the next night and asked us how the day was, what we found out, etc.
Great location under a mile from the airport and only a couple miles from CenturyLink Center Arena and new arena for College World Series (with nearly no lights if I remember correctly).

Going to the ball game

The location for me was good because it was very close to the airport and to the Ameritrade ball park. Yes, the hotel needs upgrades, but for the price, it was comfortable and clean. If you want fancy, go pay the high prices. The staff was friendly and I had a great time while I was there.

We were in Omaha to visit family. This La Quinta hotel is located near the airport, downtown area and has easy access to the University of Nebraska, Crieghton University, Nebraska medical Center and many other attractions for a visitor. I have stayed at three other hotels in this area at other times. Thumbs up for this one only! The room service was great, it is nice to have a CLEAN room to come to at the end of the day. All personnel were friendly and made it a pleasure to be there. One can get fancier digs and pay a lot more by going another mile or so into the downtown area. For this traveler I found my hotel for Omaha visits. I spent 30 years traveling and staying in all kinds of inns and hotels I do have a bit of experience!
