Relaxing Vacation

  • Neighbor Islander
  • Dec 29, 2012
The staff were all wonderful and the property is beautiful. We enjoyed our two days there. Spent a lot of time in their hammocks looking at the ocean. A great place to go to get away from life for a while. My husband and I were visiting from Honolulu, where we live, and it was a nice change of pace to be on Molokai. Go in expecting a small town attitude; this isn't a resort or a resort town. We loved it.

Great time to relax and sight see

I saw the culture aspect of the island. The Hotel lounge is right on the ocean. There was live musical entertainment every evening at the hotel. You are able to schedule tours and massages without leaving the hotel grounds. It was very warm, friendly and secure. Every Friday night there is the end of the week gathering with music and vendors right on the hotel grounds.

Relaxing with a Great View

  • Shark Plus
  • Dec 25, 2012
Molokai is an island that has a lot to offer the traveler who wants to get away from the hustle and the bustle of regular tourist locations. On Molokai, one is forced to sit back and relax and enjoy the view. The Molokai Shores provides that opportunity. The condominiums are individually owned and individually furnished and have a warm and homey feel about them. They have everything necessary for cooking and entertaining while enjoying a great view. Sitting on the balcony of the units and being mesmerized by the swaying palm trees and the ocean view is what is on offer at breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as during many other hours in between. This is one great place to relax.

A special once in a lifetime

The staff at Castle Molokai Shores was very gracious. It could use some renovation and probably a good cleaning. Carpet was dirty and we cleaned the bathtub. Kitchenette was adequate and clean. Due to the location and limited supplies - most is understandable.... enjoyed staying in the condo. They could use a coffee shop and snack bar.
