The room is very clean. In fact, it's pretty large and comfortable. The location is fine although it took me a little while to find it. There was a convention going on during my stay. Therefore, it was a little crowded, especially during the breakfast. It is great for continental breakfast to be included in the price. Overall, it’s a great experience and value.

Good enough, for the price

I had a late flight and arrived at the hotel at 11 pm. Front desk clerk was very nice, and even helped me carry my bags (I had four huge suitcases with me) up the stairs. He also helped me find a pizza place that delivered that late. So staff was very helpful. I was on the second floor, at the very end of a very long hallway. Wasn't thrilled about that, because I did have so much luggage and there was no elevator etc. The room itself was fine- huge king bed. The cable didn't work in our room, but it was very late so it wasn't that much of an issue.

The hotel was comfortable, the only thing is that from the road you can't see the sign, it is not high enough. The clerks were friendly. It was near some restaurants which was convenient.

Feb 1, 2012, I stayed at the GuestHouse Inn in Norcross. I had read the previous reviews and just "hoped" that I too would experience a great value for my money and a comfortable place to stay. I absolutely could not have been more pleased with the attitude of the front desk staff, the room, the bed and linens, the location, the quiet environment. The room was beautiful, it was spotless, the bed so very comfortable. I even had a view of the pool. I have rarely left a tip for the cleaning crew....but I did this time. Location is right off I-85 !

The indoor swimming pool in the middle of Jan is why I chose this hotel. The kids had a great time esp in the pool. The breakfast buffet kept changing every day and it was very good. I recommend this hotel to any traveling families.

The room was clean and quiet. The coffee maker only brewed one cup of coffee and only one packet was left in the room. The breakfast bar was overpriced for the quality of food. But the hotel was located near plenty of Waffel House Restaurants! Also, the hotel was in a very busy area without sidewalks to the nearby restaurants.

Although this is not a 5 star, or even a 3 star hotel, I slept comfortably and the front desk folks were very nice and even looked into emergency procedures for tornadoes for me since we were under a tornado warning.
I have two recommendations: put in new carpeting in room 130 & offer something that is not sweet at their breakfast, like bagels.

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The first room's air conditioner didn't work and the second room's air conditioner barely worked. The walls had rotted, moldy holes in the ceiling (got pictures), the bathtub was NEVER cleaned even after i asked them to clean it, ALL the towels were DIRTY with stains, the light in the bathroom area never worked, the clock never worked, both rooms smelled like pee, the night manager was a mean nasty attitude grumpbag who told me I would have to get out on Tueday but I was paid up until Wednesday. I checked in after midnight because my plane was late so I must have woke him up. No iron, ice machine always empty and filthy and when I came to the hotel and the second night, my door ws opened. Luckily I took all of my stuff with me every time I left teh room. I hated this place and want ALL of my money back.

Not much is around but if you are there on business it is quite and there is a resturant across the street that was good.
