I drove past the entrance two times before finally figuring out how to get to the hotel. You have to go through the parking lot for the El Cheapos. If you go to any of the other hotels clustered around, they have set up their parking lots so that they don't connect, forcing you to go back out to the four lane and keep doing u-turns until you get the right entrance. BUT, having said that, this little gem is worth it. The price for the room was very reasonable, and I was worried that might mean a not-so-great experience, but it was really a very clean, fairly new place. Our room had a window seat and a nice view, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Free continental breakfast with pretty decent coffee too! I highly recommend---just make sure you enter at El Cheapos. :)

Awesome. We paid around 65.00 a night and wow it was one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The pool and the hot tub were great after a day at Cumberland island. Our room was large and spotless clean. The beds were so comfortable. The breakfast was great and the breakfast room was like dining out. I recommend this hotel to everyone. Dont stay anywhere else. And crackerbarrel is a walk away.

I was please with the hotel. Good location, staff was friendly, breakfast was disappointing. Only choice of toast or waffles. Fresh fruit would have been nice. Stayed there 3 nights and would stay there again. The price was great!

We were there to visit St. Mary's and Cumberland Island. Just off Interstate 95 and only 10 minutes from St. Mary's, it was close to shopping and restaurants, too. The hotel was spotless; employees were friendly and helpful. Good complementary breakfast. There was a safe in the room which was large enough for my laptop and there was no cost for using it. Bed was VERY comfortable. Free coffee and cookies all day in the lobby. Loved the noon check-out time!

The hotel was very nice with good customer service. It was clean and comfortable. The only issue I had was that online I requested a roll away bed. When we got to the hotel, they said they did not have roll aways and the best that they could do is give us extra blackets and pillows. They were very nice about it but the end result was my son had to sleep on the floor.

This hotel was great. We actually traveled to Amelia Island from here just about everyday to go to the beach. It only took about 25 minutes it was well worth the price that we paid for the room. The pool was great the kids loved it! They had a wonderful breakfast and very courteous staff. The room was extremely clean and very well decorated. Looks as if they have recently updated the rooms we had fridge, microwave, and even a flat screen TV in the room. We enjoyed ourselves so much and hope to return!

We just hung out and relaxed at thbe hotel and in the St. Mary's area. It was our perfect vacation-- and the hotel was a big part of that. The staff was amazing-- friendly without pushiness and with a genuine servant attitude at all times. They were very gracious. The breakfast bar was fabulous. This was one of, if not the best hotel of this type we have stayed in for a long time...

This was my second stay here, the rooms are always clean, staff is nice and helpful, refrigerators and microwaves in each room, no complaints! Only thing is, they are really hidden behind a bunch of other hotels and can be extremely hard to find, but other than that, I will definitely go back!

We arrived late and left early on our way to Port Canaveral. Didn't really get to see anything but the office area and our room. The lady at the front desk was very nice. The hotel was very quiet on this night, and we slept very good. The continental breakfast wasn't bad in the morning. Just the basics: coffee, juice, milk, pastries, muffins, instant grits, cereal, and toast. Good hotel for the money on our stay!

It was just that -- a good pit stop very close to Rte 95. The room, including the bathroom, was surprisingly clean. No frills though ...just the essentials. The WiFi worked and the TV had a nice picture. The only clock was in the TV. Plenty of hot water. The breakfast, on the other hand, was sub-par in my opinion ... few choices, but OK if you like OJ and tiny doughnuts. This was our 5th overnight stop there, which was about half way to our FL destination, during the past 4 years. The location and price fit our travel needs. I will stop there again.

We stayed at the Kingsland Comfort Inn because it allows pets and because it was near some property we were looking at. It had a nice pet walk. However, the room needed a decorating re-do. The tile was cracked on the bathroom floor and the wallpaper border in the room was partially removed. The chairs didn't match the rest of the decor. When we went to complimentary breakfast, one woman was unhappy that the exercise room didn't open until 9 AM on Saturday. I liked being able to use a computer in the foyer/eating area. My main concern was that at breakfast, the stale-appearing cheese and the cut up fruit were uncovered and not in chilled containers. The milk container leaked when people tried to get a portion of milk out.

[...]The motel is old...we stayed there about 15 years ago...but the new owners are pleasant and courteous and friendly. We were there for the birth of our grandson and chose the motel for its proximity to the hospital, restaurants and convenience to I-95.

Was in Kingsland for business, motel is rather old and the bathroom needs some updating-(in dire need of new toilet seats!) The bed was comfy and I had a great night's sleep. Will stay there again when passing through.

Great Stay in Kingsland

Great location right off Exit 3 on I-95. Had two rooms - one studio for daughter's family including 2 little ones. Pool great, breakfast quite extensive and great variety, staff terrific.

WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR VISIT TO CUMBERLAND ISLAND. THE ISLAND RANGERS WERE GREAT. IN FACT, THIS WAS A VERY FRIENDLY AREA OF THE COUNTRY TO VISIT. OUR HOTEL WAS LOCATED JUST A SHORT DRIVE FROM THE FERRY, THE LOCATION WAS GREAT FOR DINNING AND SHOPPING. I WISH WE HAD MORE TIME TO SPEND. THERE WAS A FLEA MARKET AND SOME INTERESTING SHOPS WE WOULD HAVE VISITED IF WE HAD HAD MORE TIME. EVEN THOUGH THIS IS A HIGH DENSITY AREA THERE WAS A REAL LAID BACK QUALITY. I NEVER FELT RUSHED OR BEING PUSHED BY ANY OF THE HOTEL STAFF. VERY PLEASANT AND RELAXED ATMOSPHERE.

We stayed there the night before we went to Cumberlan Island. A nice, clean motel at a good location.

simply a quick overnight stay while on the road, but the room was dirty, the bathroom was dirty, the pillows were dirty. We booked a king nonsmoking and when we arrived 15 minutes later, all they had for us was a room with two double beds. very dissappointing. staff wasn't very friendly at check-in. overall bad experience. I WILL NOT BE STAYING THERE AGAIN - NOR SHOULD ANYONE ELSE.

Great potential for short stays!

The size of the room with the kitchen was awesome! It was large and had plenty of space. I could bring my family and have plenty of space. The kitchen was a nice benefit for the price.
I would check-in before the office closed because our non-smoking room smelled like smoke. Their was a strong smell of smoke in the room and ashes under the sink. The office offered me a different room when they opened the next morning, but the odor from smoke was already in our clothes, shoes, suitcase, books and backpack. They used a cleaner which helped diminish the smell but it did not eliminate the odor in the bedding or our belongings. We really liked the space in the room and our location so we remained. We purchased a deodorizer which helped with the odor on the bed, carpets and furniture.
The office was helpful when they were open. They left our keys to get into our room for check-in at a specified location after closing for the evening.
I would stay here again after checking the room to confirm it was truly non-smoking. Overall, this was a very nice place to stay. I would recommend it to others.

Would have liked a pull out sofa, but overall, very nice. Coffee filter was full and moldy. If I needed to stay longer, there were not enough pots and pans or dinnerware.
