I really needed a room to stay in at the drop of a hat (36hrs notice) that wasn't expensive. For what I spent ($114 for two nights) it wasn't bad at all. The room's decorating was a little spartan, and the furniture was a little beat-up (tears in arms of chairs, dents in woodwork) but it wasn't falling apart. Bathroom needed a bit more scrubbing above eye-line, but clean. The AC worked great, I was able to quickly change the temperature of the room by large degrees.
No bugs! It was very clean in that respect.
To be fair, the walls are quite thin, and my next-door neighbors weren't being VERY loud, but I could still almost hear every word. It didn't make for good sleep.
Breakfast buffet is pretty standard, but good.
Overall I really appreciated being able to check-in on such short notice for a good price.

We were there for 11 days and it was in the upper 90's. We really wanted to enjoy the pool and cool off but... it was shut down by the health department and it didnt look like any effort was being made to get it back in proper condition. Best i can say is that it was in walking distance of our favorite restaurants and the maid was very nice.

the beds were super comfortable. The only problem was that I booked a king bed and got 2 full beds. They were going to switch our rooms but they were booked. But over all it's was quite pleasant.

Locale wise, a great spot. Very nice people working there. Overall condition of room was below average. While there were cosmetic upgrades made in the past, the whole place needs several coats of paint and extensive cleaning. Just don't look down.

Stayed at Super 8 for presidents weekend to visit my boyfriend at Fort Gordon. Room and staff was very nice. I would only suggest to bring an air freshener had a musty smell to the hallway and some ones but was very clean! Would stay here again for the price.

Super 8 was right off the Hwy so getting to Eatting & Shopping was Good. Had a Nice Queen size Bed Room but had to switch Room becuase there was a KID on the 2nd floor that kept RUNNING AROUND MAKING NOISE So had to switch to a Smoking Room with 2 Double Beds :-( Wish the Room had been Air Out some .

We stayed at the Marriott for my brother's wedding. We chose it for the location which is right near the river and Broad St. where all the "action" is. It did not disappoint! It was a VERY nice suite, well laid out and very clean. They do have some construction going on right now so we didn't have a great view but that wasn't what we were there for. There is a fountain out front on 9th St. which we recognized from the engagement photos, it is very pretty, and I heard tell there was a playground near by on the river walk though we never had the time to go find it.

I stayed here so I coud easily get my son to and from the Augusta Aquatic Center for a three day meet. It was very clean, and the staff was nice. The breakfast was never completely out by 6 am but there was a good selection of food.

Alright for what you pay for

My wife and I checked into the hotel around 10PM our first night to be greeted by the front desk worker who did not appear to be affiliated with the hotel at all. I did not see a uniform or name tag. She was very friendly and got us checked in quickly, which is better than an over-dressed robot behind the counter.
The hallways could use some new carpet or something, as they appeared beyond their time and in good need of hard cleaning. The room itself was nice. We had 2 TVs, a king size bed, and a full size refrigerator. The room was clean, but it didn't stand out above any others.
Around bedtime, I noticed the refrigerator was making a humming noise that sounded like distant drilling in the wall. This was somewhat alleviated by closing the door from the bedroom into the kitchenette. The walls were paper thin. I have never heard so many other people in a hotel from within my hotel room. Luckily, the people were not rowdy or loud, so falling asleep was not too hard. I cannot comment too much on how comfortable the bed was, as I can sleep on concrete and be fine the next morning.
The complimentary breakfast was about what you would expect from an average hotel with complementary breakfast.
All-in-all, we got about what we paid for. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful when we needed them, and the room itself was clean, despite our first impression of the hotel's interior. The location of the hotel made it easy to access nearby neighborhoods and was less than 3 minutes from I-20.

The hotel was reasonably priced and in a good location for my travel. Nothing astounding, but the TV worked and the coffee machine made coffee, and the shower had hot water. The TV didn't have all the channels I wanted, and the wifi didn't work, but there was another wifi in the same area that worked, so I was ok there. The biggest complaint I have was that I had to wake up the morning staff to open their breakfast.

The air conditioner sucked, tv never got fixed, and staff was anything but professional. Holes in bathroom door, and latch on door broken. We were not impressed. You get what you pay for with this one.

More than worth the price

My girlfriend and I needed a place to stay for 4 nights to prepare for a long road trip. So obviously we needed to keep a tight budget.
Total, the hotel cost significantly less than renting a vehicle. The hotel staff were friendly and they made sure to take care of us each day we ran into them while they did their daily cleaning duties in the other rooms.
For the type of service given, we paid a small price

My adult daughter and I went to Augusta to visit my son, who is stationed at Ft. Gordon, over the Easter weekend. It turned out to be just before the Masters Golf Tournament, so the room was reasonably priced on Saturday night, but Sunday was outrageous! The room had been recently updated with new paint, toilet, vanity, and carpet. The room was on the small side. Plain Jane. It was very clean and did not have any smell (non-smoking room). They overlooked replacing the AC/heat unit, and the unit in our room did not perform very well-probably a big issue if it were mid-summer. There were no "extra" electrical outlets for cell phone chargers. The staff was friendly. The location is close to Ft. Gordon. Overall, it was "fine." I would stay again - but suggest NOT over Masters week, as the prices were ridiculious for that room if you aren't there for golf, or you intend to spend a lot of time in the room. We did not partake of the breakfast, but from the looks of it, don't count on anything special.
