Visiting our son, we stayed at the Glenn located at Centennial Park for five nights. Staff is very accomodating and room is medium in size but very useable. Giant shower! Loved our bed. Would use the Glenn again for our downtown address.

I visit Atlanta often and have tried staying out in the suburbs and in downtown. This location was perfect for my needs. Close to my appointment and within 10 minutes of the Virginia Highland where I like to eat.
The hotel was all that I expected and the staff was professional and pleasant.
I chalk this one up as a great experience.

The room was lovely and of a good size, pretty clean, and mostly quiet other than a little bit of neighbor noise in the hall; the bed was comfortable; and the shower was huge, with good water pressure. Hypoallergenic bedding is available upon request.
The hotel seemed to have some nice amenities, but we did not avail ourselves of them, so I can't offer an opinion on them. One odd thing: The hotel bar was closed by 10, so when we wanted a nightcap, we had to go roaming through the neighborhood in search of a bar.
Valet parking was $25 per day, which was pricey but pretty typical for hotels in the area. The valets were friendly and efficient, and we didn't have to endure a particularly long wait for our cars. Getting in and out was easy.
During our visit, one elevator was broken, which left us standing around waiting unless we called down to the front desk to have them send the freight elevator up to our floor. It wasn't a major inconvenience. Only people with key cards could operate the elevator, which was a nice touch.
Note to sleepyheads: There's a Starbuck's downstairs, free coffee in the room, and free coffee in the lobby.

Booking the "package deal" was the way to go, for sure. It was nice NOT having to pay for valet parking (except for the tip) and nice that breakfast was included for two with my room. And by the package deal was better is because otherwise everything would be overly expensive. This is a nice hotel but wanting $6 for a bottle of water is even crazier than the prices at the ballpark when we went to see the Braves beat the Mets. I did enjoy the complementary wine tasting, even if the girl serving it just poured me a glass and didn't tell me anything about it (which is the point of wine tasting, so you can decide if you like the wine and eventually buy it sometime). The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

My husband wasn't feeling well and having such a comfortable suit help him to rest and get better. Rest was what he was looking for and he got it.
Staff was very kind and always helpful. We enjoy the attention we received during our breakfast time. Parking was very convenient. We loved the price.

The hotel was pleasant and so was the employees. It was nice having the shuttle bus take you to and from place you wish to go or visit within a certain radius. the drivers on the shuttle was very pleasant and nice. If I come back to Georgia I look forward to staying at the Holiday Inn Atlantic conference center.

We loved this hotel's rooms and location. The service angle seems a little rough around the edges, but not awful. 5-10 minute wait for anyone to show up at front desk for check-in. No parking passes available so we were told to just park and not to worry about it, and come back later for a pass. (I didn't like having to worry I would come back and find the car booted, even though it didn't happen. Waffle batter dispenser not working at breakfast. These are all little things but left me with a feeling that service is not their top priority.
My biggest problem was the lack of wireless internet. There was a cable for wired internet in the room, but that doesn't work for modern equipment, especially smart phones. They didn't lie about it or anything...it's just that these days one expects in-room wireless at a hotel in this price range.
The room was huge, clean and comfortable, otherwise.
Note that some of the reviews reference the gigantic radio tower next door. It is now being dismantled. That's not a problem, but just know that "find the hotel from anywhere" landmark is about gone as of fall 2010.

Highly recommend for anyone who wants to be close to the University.
Staff was friendly and helpful, even provided walking maps. Room was clean and pleasant. Temperature control fine (ie, working thermostat in room). TV fine.
Would have liked a magnifying mirror in bathroom, otherwise, provided avg amenities.

I got to the hotel after midnight and it was hectic with passengers from the airport who's flights got canceled. The lone receptionist was rocking! He processed well over 40 people in less than 30 minutes. He was very patient with the surly "guests" and did let anything throw him off his game!
The hotel itself is a little run down and house keeping could use a shake up.

I booked this room for $50/night and was only there for one night. I was half-way expecting something not so great. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. There is nothing special about the room, but they are clean and have all the standards (tv, iron, etc.). The airport shuttle makes traveling to/from the airport very convenient. Also, the MARTA (Atlanta rail/subway system) is located at the airport, so the shuttle can double as your transportation to the MARTA. Don't expect luxury here. However, for the value, I highly recommend it and will stay there next time I'm in town visiting for a night or two.

Located in a great spot.
I was a little put off that parking was additional cost, since the description had parking as an amenity, but no indication that it was for extra cost.
Staff was friendly and helpful, but they were late on my wakeup call. Bring your own alarm clock if you're worried about being late. The price was right. The room was pretty clean, albeit the furniture and tv was dated. I couldn't find any temperature control unit, however the room was pretty comfortable. The bathroom was so-so, and the water came out brown at first from the tub spout, but after running it for a second it looked alright. I would come back if I needed to make another last minute trip to Atlanta.

From the valet to the check out service, the staff were really attentive and friendly. My husband and I wanted a quick night out, and this was perfect. We were able to enjoy the lounge upstairs on the rooftop, and then retire to our room late in the evening. And woke up the next morning for a convenient shopping trip. If the chance presents itself, we would definitely do it again.

This hotel was great! The staff was amazing, Mrs.Ruth was so kind. She really made checking in pleasant. Sandy springs was about 20 minutes from downtown but it was worth the drive.

The room was neat, clean, comfotable, and roomy. My only donwside thought is that the bed was a bit too firm. Overall, it was a great stay and we plan to stay there again when in town.

The hotel was just a couple of miles away from Marietta, right off 75, and just perfect for us to visit family there. The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. The hotel is a nice value.

I always like staying at Country Inn and Suites and this was no exception. The room was very nice and very clean. The breakfast in the morning is great and had a nice variety including eggs, some type of meat, waffles, toast, bagels, cereals, oatmeal, etc. The location isn't the great if you're looking for night life and there are really no restaurants other than fast food in the area. I used the train to get me to where my meeting was downtown (and saved $80-90/night), which was a 0.6 mi walk to/from the station (costs $2.50/trip). Very happy that I stayed here.

The overall hotel was good but in more detail the hotel staff was a bit rude the first day I checked in. The day I checked out the staff was better. There is no free Internet no free parking and the pool isn't that great! But the room was very cozy and nice the size was great as well in addition the mall is within walking distance.

We chose this hotel on our second night in the metro area & we were more than impressed. The staff was great & very helpful. The room was clean, quiet, & comfortable. The location is great! Very close to upscale shopping ,restaurants, and only minutes away from downtown and other parts of the city. To anyone planning to visit the Atlanta area, I would highly recommend this hotel.
P.S.- The Jamaican bartender was the best! He showed us a great time without leaving the hotel.

good location to downtown, and right off of the main high 85. They have a parking lot too so that helps if youre renting a car. All rooms have a small kitchen and sitting area, which automatically turns it into a suite, but this is mainly for those traveling and staying longer than 3 days. Great staff, all were fast and friendly, overall it was a great time. They also provide a nice continental breakfast which saved us alot of $.

everything is standard; not bad, not too good. The room is a little bit noisy due to the high-way traffic nearby, but it is not a big concern.
