Hotel was very clean, linens were fresh, and staff was very courteous. The complaints that I had were there was a lot of noise after 10pm, and nothing was done about it. Second, what happened to standard or queen size pillows? The pillows were small,square, sofa -size pillows. Very uncomfortable pillows, but overall a nice place to stay!

I checked in very late. The staff member at the front desk greeted me happily and has very helpful. The room was clean. The only thing that stuck out was that the comforter was very old. This hotel was great for the price! Excellent value!

Rest and relaxation for 11th anniversary so we got online and chose that particular hotel.
Since we spent more time in the room,there should have been a dvd player to go along with television.
Some of the staff to relaxed not that willing to help or to speak and to go above and beyond.Compared to previous stay at this hotel,I would never again!!

The room was fairly clean but there were bugs and small spiders.. the water was slow in draining from the tub and sink. I will not stay there again nor reccomend it to anyone else.

The hotel sheets wasn't clean,I had to go to the office at night to get some clean sheets to change the beds.there were roaches in the room,the,bathroom,and sink was dirty I will never stay at this hotel again.I went there to rest not clean.There wasn't anything could have made me stay another night.This hotel didn't come close to other hotels that I have stayed at.

The hotel is located in the prime area of town. As well as, being close to the university and the alumni dance was held in the hotel. So, coming down stairs to the dance was ideal. The one thing that I did not like was the cost. The hotel increased the cost between $40 to $60 because of the homecoming weekend.

When 2 year old daughter walked in the room and said, "Wow, this is beautiful!", I thought yeah this is nice. The room was clean, the service was excellent, the breakfast was good, and the location was very convenient to local restaurants, grocery stores, banks, and mall. There are barely any nice hotels in the Albany area except for the Hilton and you still don't have breakfast.
All I can say is, this is definitely a hotel I would visit again.

quick stop, great location

The hotel was just fine, room was very nice and staff was pleasant but the hotel was almost empty and when we asked for a downstairs room were told that we had already been preassigned to an upstairs room so that we couldn't be changed. We checked in late so I felt certain that they wouldn't fill up that night but we just went upstairs without comment. Would have been more convenient to be downstairs.

This hotel has outside rooms - nothing indoor. You can hear everything. They do not have room darkening shades, just blinds...so if you are on the first floor...you get the headlights of the car pulling in. Bathroom is small, it looked clean. Only 3 pieces of equipment in the fitness room; if you show up at the wrong time, you will have to wait. They say there was a Manager's reception - they have a bottle of wine and beer behind the counter - if you don't ask for it, you won't get it. Compared to other Hampton's...the breakfast was fair. Let's be honest - it is Albany. It was clean, I felt safe and the internet worked great. What else do you need when you stay here?

staff was very kind and helpful. Did what they could to make the stay better but it was just awful all the way around. I was awake until 4 a.m. because of the party down the hall and the slamming doors. The towels were like sandpaper. Room was clean but smelled bad and was dated and furniture was well used. They had 6 things plugged into each outlet and it smelled like something was burning. You could plug something in and it would fall out. It really needs to be updated and carpets cleaned, new bedspreads or at least wash the ones that are there. It was the worst night I have ever spent in a motel.

Clean, minimal furnishings room with an okay but not great mattress.
It is a hotel for lean budgets when all you need is a place to sleep and shower and an improvement from the super-cheap hotels that are less than clean.

The night manager was very friendly. We didn't arrive until about midnight. The hotel was older and you had to walk on the outside to get to your room which always feels a little unsafe. It was a good enough place to stop on the way to Destin.

There was not one thing we didn't like! We came down to watch our daughter (who stayed at another hotel with her team) compete in the State Track Meet. The staff was very friendly; the check in and out procedure was very easy/quick; the room itself was awesome--very nice and brand new! We had a room with a king and sofabed--it had a living/sitting area, large bathroom and TWO tvs. It also had an IPOD dock! It had ALL the comforts of home. The location was great--just off the highway but right down the street from the mall and plenty of restaurants in a nice part of town. The pool and exercise room were nice. The complimentary breakfast was GREAT. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again! :)

The last time I stayed at Motel 6 was back in the 80's. My room was small, clean, and the bed was
really comfortable. The air conditioner was very super cool. The front desk clerk was exceptionaly
helpful, caring, and friendly. The price was good

Furniture was old, ratty, scratched, upholstery ripped. The mini refrigerator had been painted over and very poorly done. Old TV, but it had a new remote! The velor blanket was worn out and ripped. I've stayed in better Motel 6s. Certainly not worth more than $30 a night.

3 stars? You gotta be kidding me! A solid 2. As a 2, it was ok. If you were expecting a Country Inn or Comfort Inn, uh, no. That being said, the staff ([*]) was very polite, [*], room was clean and 150 degrees when I arrived, the a/c eventually cooled it down, and the light switch at the door did nothing.

thank god i brought my own sheets,linen.there were holes in the sheets,roaches in the room.one even got on the bed with us,the room needed much maintence in the bath area.but it was very close to everything we visited,that was the only plus.

The room was suprisingly large and had a coffee maker, frige/micro, blow dryer, and iron/board. The shower was an issue.
