I spent $80 on a busy night, understandable, but for an extra $20 I wonder what i could have gotten? Clean, nothing fancy. It is closer than you think to downtown, just go out the back way. Still a long, interesting walk to downtown if it's not too hot.

the hotel staff was great, room clean everyday, good breakfast, and the hotel was always clean, other than an odor that was always present inside and out. but it was not terrible. my wife could smell it better than me she said it smelled like rotten eggs. otherwise it was great,

Loved the bistro especially for breakfast and really appreciated Starbuck's coffee! Love my skinny vanilla latte! Room was fine as was the service.Location was all right, we were mostly interested in downtown St. Augustine.

The hotel was right at the Interstate, but did not hear the traffic at anytime from inside the room. IHOP is located inside the Motel adjoining the lobby. Would stay there again.

The rooms were fantastic & the beds slept great! They had an awesome fitness center & kept it really nice. The view of the city was fun for people watching from the little sitting room area. The pool was shallow but fine. The hotel bar was 5 star. The location was perfect & parking on the street was obtainable & much cheaper than the valet for the garage. The front desk employees were cool & helpful. It was so good that we took our impromptu, 1 night getaway up to 2 nights for our first anniversary & had the best time together. It was totally romantic!

The hotel is beautiful. The staff very courteous and helpful. Beautiful landscape. We weren't there enough time to be able to enjoy the IMAX theater because we were there only for the wedding, but it was very reasonably price and would like to do it, next time we are in St. Augustine. The breakfast buffet was lovely and the staff was very helpful. We were there a little after the chef closed, and the waiter insisted that she could have eggs made to order still from the kitchen. We were 2 adults and 2 children, so we got the double beds, not very comfortable...the pillows were stuffy and a bit hard.

We used this hotel as our base for the week in St. Augustine. The landscaping was beautiful,and although it was close to the highway it was quiet. It was an easy drive to town. The room was clean. The air conditioner worked great and was quiet. We had 2 11 year old boys with us and they enjoyed the pool and billiards. Internet access was 12.00 per day so we skipped it. Free computers in the lobby though.

The room was nice and comfortable. I seem to remember asking for a non-smoking room which we did not get. The desk clerk was very understanding of our needs, and gave us a room that she knew had the least smell of smoke. We didn't even realize we had a smoking room, and were very greatful.

The hotel manager was very nice and very helpful in directing us to a delicious restuarant for dinner. Do not go cheap and get the smoking rooms. I made that mistake and my room wasn't horrible smelling like my friends but my families feet were disgusting after walking around on the carpet. Luckily we only stayed one night. Also, they say the have a pool (and they do), but its a very, very small one compared to some of the other hotels around there. However, it is located right across the street from the beach which was a good point. Anyone staying here needs to remember you get what you pay for.

Soundproofing between rooms was not good. I was awakened two nights in a row due to amorous activities in the next room. The remote control for the TV would only turn the TV on and off, I could not get it to change the channels, I had to do that manually.

This was our first trip to St.Augustine and the hotel was decent. we needed somewhere inexpensive to stay and this hotel was within our budget. the staff was very friendly, housekeeping kept everything clean, continental breakfast, and the pool was good for the kids. the location was great there were restraunts and stores within walking distance.

My husband and I enjoy getting away from the daily grind and enjoy quality time together. We have stayed at this same hotel a few times and love it. The employees are great, the facilities are immaculate, and the location is close to shopping and other attractions. The only thing I wish is that the rooms had a mini-fridge and microwave, but it would not change my mind on the hotel. Love it!!!

Good for budget traveler, don't expect too much from property/looks. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good.
St. Augustine's Prime Outlet and Premium Outlet is near. Near I-95 exit and 5-6mile (15 min) drive from St. Augustine city center.

To start with, I called the day before to confirm and the girl was very nice.She told me that if we get there before 3pm the room will not be ready, but if we get there at 3pm the room will be ready.The next day we get there and there is a great big sign "Rooms $49.99", cheaper than we paid. Went inside to get the key and the girl said to wait, she has to see if a room is available. I repeated what I was told the day before. She left and came back and told the man to help me that she wasn't. She very sarcastically said"Have a nice day" and left. The room we got was not ready, not even cleaned, so they gave us a second room, way in the back where the party people are. There were kids running around all night, young kids, maybe 10-12 yo. Then there was a dog barking at the kids running around.I asked them to stop that we were sleeping and they looked at me and laughed. I called the office and they told me to call the police. The next night it was a little better, they were quieter but they kept setting this poor woman's car alarm off.Oh, tthe first night we were laying down and this other couple opened up the door and told us they were rented the same room.They left, the next day we went to Ripley's and the Alligator Farm and back to the hotel only to not be able to open the door. Had to go to office, when they cancelled the other couples card keys they cancelled all.So, rest, something I got when I got home!I don't plan to go back there and I told them this stay was a little ruff and the guy said he didn't care. I told him I'm glad he don't care and Goodbye!! The maid came in the room but she didn't take trash, or replace anything we used, we had to go to the office.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was adequate. The beds were fine, the rooms were clean..and it was in a great location-on the same street as many great attractions. Got some great coupons from the front desk, which we used for almost everything we did. The towels were a little tough but all in all, not a bad stay.

We had read the reviews of the hotel before we booked so we came prepared with food, dishes, silverware, napkins, etc. Even though you can get them from the lodge, it didn't seem worth the hassle. Room was clean, kitchenette was fine (refrigerator needs to be updated). Staff was very friendly and the location was pretty good! Not far from the Fountain of Youth or Ripley's. We drove and paid for city parking, but the staff will also call the trolly if you prefer. Only issues were the Wi-Fi was hit and miss, the beds were hard and the pillows were pretty thin. Next time, we'll bring our own illows, but this may not practical for someone who is coming by plane.

Good access to trolley tours ( right across street) restaurant on premises. rooms had been remodeled, some fixtures still needed updating. air conditioner was on loud side. price was exceptional.small parking lot for number of rooms.

As soon as we checked in, the receptionist left. NO ONE was there. It was like a ghost town. But very cozy and if quiet's what you're looking for... perfect.

It was only 20 minutes from downtown St. Augustine and all of the fun things to do. I felt very safe and really enjoyed the location. The suite was just that, a sweet suite!
