Everything that looks good isn't good

For the most part the room was pretty peaceful. However, when I walked inside my room, it smelled like urine. Then I noticed that there was a condom wrapper on the floor, and there was no trash bag in the garbage can. The towels could have been a little whiter for usage. Breakfast was ok except the cereal were a bit stale.

When we arrived the desk clerk informed us that the handicap accessible rooms that i had reserved did not have working heaters. We were given a room upstairs, no elevators by the way, that was to have heat. Ran hvac for 15min and still was blowing cool air. Complained about it to front desk and was given another room, still the same problem. Also, the hallways and vestibule had big stains on the carpet and tile. Also don't be fooled by the picture, the front desk and lobby are in seperate building from the motel rooms in which is about 200 yards from the lobby.

This is the 2nd time we've used this hotel for a quick overnight stay on the way to Disney. It's the perfect spot and kind of hotel for that. It's easy off the highway with close resteraunts and a free hot breakfast.

Amenities were all as promised. Location was excellent; we were 5 to 10 minutes drive from all destinations. Some negative comments; there was dirt & grime on the wall moldings in the bathroom; disgusting. The carpets were either very dark in color or needed scrubbing. Housekeeping did a GOOD JOB! Thanks & Merry Christmas

We made last minute plans for this trip and would not have normally picked this hotel, but I enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was nice to have the free breakfast and be able to just laze around. The room could have used a deep cleaning.

The location, price and hotel staff were outstanding. The outdoor pool, decks and playground were also excellent. However, you must keep in mind, that is a budget priced hotel and it is not a resort.

horrible hotel stay

1st, room wasn't ready, then room I got needed to be vacuumed. Then the tv did'nt work well, moved to another room, phone and lamps did'nt work. Then 3rd room was ok but it was only cleaned once the entire 5 days, one day was at my request not to be disturbed. Ice machines were broken and had to go to lobby to get ice and toilet paper. Terrible hotel!!!

The hotel was in a good location and was clean. The only problem we had was check out time was at 11:00 a.m and at 10:00 a.m house keeping came to our door and told us that we needed to hurry up and get out. She also used foul language towards me and my girlfriend and was very unprofessional. Up until that point we had had a nice trip but because of that we probably won't stay there again.

THE FLOORS IN THE HALLWAY OF THE HOTEL ARE HORRIBLE! THE FLOORS NEED TO BE STEAM CLEANED OR NEW CARPETED. I WAS ALMOST SCARED TO ENTER MY ROOM. MUCH TO MY SURPRISE THE FLOOR IN MY ROOM ONLY HAD A IRON BURN. I HOPE THE HOTEL READS ALL REVIEWS AND CHANGE ANY PROBLEMS NOTED!!!!!

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights, and the trash near the entrance was not emptied the entire time. The listing says they did a complete remodel in 2007, but the carpeting was stained and the paint was coming off the walls. There was a strange odor, and the pool was dirty.

The hotel was a nice comfortable stay. The bed and pillows were soft and clean and the bathroom was roomy. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

We went for the Air Show in Pensacola and the Museum of Naval Aviation. We had a very nice weekend. The hotel was nice, the staff was friendly, the room was clean (but smelled mildew).

The hotel was older but clean. The toilet was not bolted down so it was wobbly. Okay for a couple of days stay.

This hotel is located right off I-25 but you do not hear the interstate traffic. It seems to me that it would be more like a truck stop kind of place rather than a hotel.
I did not read the complete list of "amenities" since this was a last minute booking because of a family emergency. I needed something that was close to the hospital but in retrospect I would have preferred to pay a little bit more for my comfort AND be closer to the hospital. The things I thought were to be considered "Standard" for a room like a coffee pot or a blow dryer were missing.... but we had a safe in the room.....
The first thing I noticed in the room was the smell of moisture (not to the point of mildew) which did not even go away with running the AC all day.
All in all the room served its purpose, which was to have a bed to sleep on while sitting in the hospital all day.

It was cleanand quiet. the staff was pleasent. the breakfast was stale and juice was watered down. The overall experience was fine. would i go again.... for the budget price yes. Would I take a family there? No. I did get what I paid for. That works for me.

Baymont Won't stay again

Property was very run down. Looked like it was in the process of renovation but left a lot to be desired. We rented two rooms with sofa beds. They didn't have enough
Bedding for one of the sofa beds much less both. One room was very smokey and they tried to deodorize it but it didn't help much. Breakfast bar was pretty good, well stocked but they need more than one toaster.

We checked in between 2:00 and 3:00 in the morning. Staff were very nice. The directions we had were horrible. I was able to call the hotel and Dusty lead us right in. The front of the hotel does not have a graduating incline going in or coming out (there is a small section with a rail). Since my wife did not realize this, she fell into the parking lot while coming out of the lobby before we even made it to our room. The staff offered to get her some bandages and an antiseptic. The parking was terrible! There were very limited spaces and someone with a wide truck had taken up too much space so we couldn't park by our door. We reported this to the hotel staff and they said they would make him move. He parked like that until a day before we left (so much for making him move). The room itself looked fairly clean but the bathroom had mold growing in the tile cracks around the tub. The location is about 30 mins from the beach. The beaches do not allow dogs, so it's not a good location unless you want to leave your pet kenneled in the room for several hours while you are gone. There is a Huddle House within a short walking distance so getting breakfast was fairly convenient. The hotel does serve what they call a continental breakfast but the choices are very few and they stop serving around 9:00 or 9:30, so if you like to sleep in, you are out of luck. You do have to remember that you are paying a budget price, so you get what you pay for. It is located next door to a shopping mall, so if you want somewhere you can shop, it's very convenient. There is also a WalMart close by if you need to pick up something that you forgot to take.
