Location was great. Pool area was wonderful. The only place to get wi-fi was in the lobby which made it hard to do work. The room was okay, the carpet was dirty, the walls needed to be painted, and it could have had some more decor. Over all for as big as the resort was they were missing the small details.

They spent all the money on the pretty pool, and skimped on the details. Too few elevators and some not operating. We often waited 10 mins for an elevator in a hot elevator waiting area, only to enter an unventilated/unAC'd, very crowded elevator. Parking deck is extremely tight and short on "not reserved" spaces. Luggage carts are VERY limited at prime times - plan ahead. Great beach, decent sized rooms. Our room had an AC water leak down the wall with peeling paint, missing sheets on a "made" bed and moldy shower curtain. When we mentioned these issues to the front desk on two separate occasions, they expressed ZERO concern. The pool and beach are the best parts and you can find comparable at better condos.

I was told that the hotel had a private section to go to thier beach, which was not true. The room were OKAY. Hotel charged me $150 IN FEES! [...] The only thing that kind of made up for it, was the pool. Never again will I stay there. Placement was horrible and fees were out the roof!

Our stay was great!!! Only complaint we had was the pools were very cold, but the hot tub made up for it!!! The staff was helpful, but we really didn't need anything! The beach was a walk across the street, but it didn't take long at all to get there! It was great fun and we will be back next year!!!!

While the hotel is by no means an upscale hotel, it certainly meets the needs of a family on a budget looking for a clean, well maintained hotel. The breakfast was much better than we expected. There were 3 different fresh fruits offered, English muffins, toast, plenty of cereal, 2 different juices and coffee. The pool was beautiful and if the weather had been warmer we would have took advantage of it. I would recommend this hotel. The staff was very pleasant and professional. They allowed us to check in early and were very nice. The parking was also convenient and close to the hotel making taking luggage in easy. We plan to return.

Great location and beautiful facility located directly on the beach. The complex was great and so were the staff. However, there were problems in our particular unit, including dead light bulbs; plumbing problems in the master bath, and, dirty carpet.

We arrived after hours and the check-in was easy. Just park in front of west and call # they will tell you the rest. Very secure building. Be aware of the parking. Their is VERY LIMITED parking in front of buildings. Extra parking is located across street. Could have used a few more towels as we washed everyday, but that was not a problem. Location was excellent very close to the cheerleading competition. Would stay again!!! Our mircowave did not work, which was a minor inconvience.

My family and I were pleased with our three day stay at this location as soon as we walked into the entrance with its warm wood home-like decor and for the holidays the wonderful scent of spices and accents. We were a group of four adult size guest so I cannot say we had room to spare, but we also,were not tripping over one another. The beds were comfortable. We also really enjoyed the wonderful full breakfast offered free of charge. Overall, I would say a great value for that area.

The resort is beautifuland located on a wonderful stretch of beach. The staff is very friendly. The only problem we had was the a/c in our unit. the master bedroom was always hot and the unit never got under 80 degrees(even during the nite)we eventually had to close off the vents in all the other rooms to make master bedroom comfortable at nite. the staff tryed to fix a/c problem but eventually had to let pros come in after we checked out.

The world-class beach is right at your doorstep, and the staff is quick to refill your drinks. The only drawback is that the drinks are watered-down and expensive.
The rooms were pretty clean - but the tops of the appliances could stand to be cleaned. Parking is a pain across the street.

the condo was extremely nice, un fortunately there was an extra 158.00 in check in fees in addition to the 540.00 up front that i had to pay, I was kinda mad about the cleaning fee, when there is a huge list of things to clean before we checked out, for 700.00 for three nights i shouldnt worry about them charging me if i forget to do something during check-out!!

The Red Roof Inn provided a room for us at a great rate and wonderful location just outside of the city. It was within good driving distance to all the attractions we wanted to see. Great value and location does not get much better. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great rate and comfortable accommodations.

The red roof was a very nice hotel. I had no problem will staying there, u can tell it's fairly new. The staff was very nice and understanding. If I eve go back to PCB i would definetly stay at this hotel again. The only thing that was a little bad was because it rained most of the time we were there, so didn't get to do as much as I wanted but maybe next trip. I would recommend this hotel to someone else unless there looking for one close to the beach.

We thought it was very nice to have unlimited long distance service in room also chairs,pads and umbrellas at beach. The biggest drawback was: We were located by the elevator and it was a noisy room, especially if trying to sleep in the bunk room.

Our first visit to Panama City Beach. Really enjoyed the Calypso, nearby South Pier center (especially Tootsies - a wonderful honky tonk), beautiful beach, and off-season slow pace. Although known to some as the redneck riviera, we found it very nice. beats other FL destinations we visited except Miami Beach and Key West.

The trip didn't start out to good when we booked a 2 bedroom/2 bath room with Orbitz and then got there and were told Orbitz only booked us a 1 1/2 bedroom (I specifically asked 2 different people at Orbitz to confirm there were 2 beds because we had 2 couples in our group. Each time I was assured we would have a king and queen bed but instead only had a king and bunk beds). The manager at Splash got right on it, made a phone call, and made copies of my documentation from Orbitz that I booked a 2 bedroom/2 bath. We ended up in a 3 bedroom/3 bath deluxe suite with 3 balconies. The room and view were awesome. There was a pool, small waterpark, and lazy river for the kids as well as an arcade. The beach was clean and parasailing, banana boat rides, etc. were offered right on the beach by the hotel. Shopping and restaraunts were just down the road within 2 to 3 miles. Again, I can't say enough about the staff at Splash. The manager got right on our problem and asked me everytime I saw him during the week how things were going. On the day we checked out, he told me there was no way he would have made us suffer for someone else's mistake. I would highly recommend Splash for this reason and for everything else it offers.

We stayed at the Splash in November so it was pretty chilly. The only had one pool that was heated. But, my kids still love the water park area. The game room was fun with a little something for everyone. We also like the free dvd's you could watch at night before settling in for the evening. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was fantastic. We had two big bedrooms with an ocean view in one of them. With three children we still had a ton of room and never felt crowded. The room did need a little painting in the entrance area where the carts must have been hitting it. We are definetly going to come back it's a little far down the beach but the accomodations make it all worth while. I would highly recommend families to consider this hotel.

It really is a nice place. Our only concern was the suprise cleaning fee of 104.00 when it was not disclosed prior to our renting the property. When I tried to talk to the staff about it, they said I could pay it or find another place to stay. Not good customer service, and Orbitz did not even answer my email when I complained to them. But the property is excellent clean and comfortable...

What a great vacation! From our first experience with the helpful & friendly staff at check-in until the time we left, we could not have asked for a better place to stay. We were in unit 705 which is listed as a 1 bedroom, but feels bigger. Between the Master bedroom and kitchen is a bunk room (with it's own bathroom) for the kids. The view from the large balcony was spectacular. This was the best family vacation we have had in a long time.

My stay at the Sunrise resort was Wonderful we had a Great time the Room was very nice clean and home away from home environment The Kids had the time of their life we spent lots of time at the beach and Resort pool and walking at night it was very kool and great places to visit at night

Have been at this place before. Got us a unit more suited to our family size [...]. Its a great place. Two setbacks: Pool and beach water were still cool/cold, no ones fault, its just that time of the year. Second, the unit, as nice as it was, it did say "coastline view" [...], but actually it wasn't, we were on a poolside view condo.[...] Thanks, JC

They have sprinklers that prevented the use of the elavator at the exit. In order to get out of the building in the morning you would get wet.

When we pulled up and parked at the hotel the securty guard asked for a parking pass before we ever got checked in. then every time we where at the pool they come by every five mins and ask where your wrestband was like the could not remember you. the AKA fitness room if that is what you want to call it only had three things in it and closed at 430 and the steam room did not work.

The condo was OK, but the pool was not nice without any decoration. My kids were not really happy and enjoyed with the pool. One of the toilet was not flushing and I called the front desk to report twice around 9AM. I had been waiting until 4PM to get it fixed.

I just love it! I don't have any complains! It has everything you need to enjoy your vacation. Comfort, cleanliness, location, amenities and the view from the balcony and the bedroom is out of this world!

The location of this hotel is ideal, it is directly on the beach and has a great view from every room. The room was average, but it was definitly a good deal because of the beach access and the room was a good size.

The balcony overlooked the beach which was beautiful! However, the balcony had a broken spindle which made it unsafe for the children to be out there without an adult.
