The Veranda is a cozy bed and breakfast retreat in short walking distance to many of downtown Orlando's quaint dining and recreational destinations. The rooms capture the old time elegance of a summer home retreat with thoroughly modern amenities. The rooms are quiet and spacious, including a huge bathroom with both walk-in shower and bathtub. You can park your car and in just moments you can be at the Wildside Grill or other popular eateries including Dexter's, CityFish and HUE. From the front desk personnel to the housekeepers, we were greeted with friendliness and professionalism. We had a two bedroom villa which was spacious, clean, beautifully decorated and felt very private. The attention to detail was evident throughout. We played golf on property which was great. The courses were in great shape, the staff friendly and very accommodating. We used the workout facilities at the Hyatt which were available 24/7. The Hyatt property is also beautiful with art and beautiful decor throughout. The location of the Grand Cypress Villas is perfect, conveniently located to all of the theme parks and restaurants. WARNING ... Traffic in Orlando is bad, which was the only negative experience during our entire vacation.

Had a good time here, the rooms we're nice as well as the view over looking so much land. One of the larges hotels, the hall are long and self parking, your're in for a walk. But everything else was clean and worth it! Free Wi-fi would be nice.

In true Ritz Carlton fashion, from the moment we arrived we were greeted and addressed by name. Our room was upgraded due to my reward membership status. The manager was extremely attentive and his staff obviously follows his lead. We did pay for the upgrade to the concierge level which is fantastic. The staff was personable and very attentive. They were great with my kids. The food and drink are abundant and available throughout the day. Golf course was great, spa is excellent, and on the days it was cool they provide free hot chocolate in the lobby. Overall, I spent a lot of money, but I am satisfied with the amount of service and amenities I received.

It was truly worth the value, in fact, the suite was so large that for two people it felt more like home.
The balcony view was beautiful and the location was so close to the highway and disney.
The only problem was the WIFI which was mostly unavailable from most parts of the room, except near the front part (kitchen)

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel and rooms are immaculate and well furnished. Good value for money particularly for families. Breakfast was adequate and kick back was useful after being out all day.
My only criticism is there is no bar facility after 7pm. However, it did not spoil or stay.

The hotel was nice and the newest hotel in
Sand Lake. It was only minutes from Universal
Studios and Citywalk. They provide free shuttle
service to the park. The room was nice and clean. The staff was awesome. They made my stay great.

Our flight arrived at 9:30 a.m. Friday. We were able to check into our room immediately.Very clean,nice balcony view of the airport which we requested at check-in.The staff was very accomodating and answered our concerns about luggage pick-up for our cruise on Saturday, and Universal theme park for the day.Easy access to rental cars,and cruise line pick-up.After the cruise ,we had a 4:00 flight on the following Saturday.We were able to check-in to the hotel with their inexpensive room for a day while waiting on our flight.A 9:00a.m. arrival from the cruise ship was a long time for children to wait in an airport.The room was perfect.Every one rested,children swam and we had a leisurely lunch at the hotel restaurant ,

This was our second stay at The Fountains. We were put in building 10 this time right next to the pool and it was fabulous. The only thing I missed was having the balcony facing the lake and fountain but the convenience of being right next to the pool and the beautiful comfortable room made it worth it. I love this place, especially the Pool. Its so incredibly large but layed out smart so you don't ever feel on top of other people. My son was big enough to enjoy the slide this year and I think he went on it 64,986 times LOL. They have nice activities for the kids throughout the day and a nice kids room and arcade in the club house. We are very happy and will definately go back. It is a timeshare so you will be asked to attend the presentation. If you have no interest just BE FIRM WITH YOUR NO or they will bug you if you don't give a firm NO. Staff is friendly, property is clean its lovely.

The staff at this place is great. They are friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is the perfect spot, just minutes away from the attractions. We had a great view and really enjoyed our stay.

Very close to airport and some good restaurants. The hotel was great. Very comfortable and good breakfast. We didn't realize it was right off a toll road and had to pay a few tolls anytime we drove anywhere.

Overall, a great experience. The only issue was check in, which literally took 45 minutes. We heard from other people in line the computer system crashed. When we finally got to the front of the line to check in, the girl didn't even acknowledge the wait. We were celebrating our 1st anniversary, so we requested a King size bed, and got two queens. However, The Peabody corrected this,and gave us a corner room with fantastic views of the entire city, from downtown to the Disney fireworks at night.. We stayed on the Club level, and totally worth it. Valet included, along with breakfast, horderves and dessert, and a room on a high floor.

My family enjoyed our stay here. The location and price can't be beat. Five minutes from Disney and ten from universal. Staff was very friendly and room were comfortable and the right amount of space. Will stay here again in the future. Good for small children and the pool is also good for kids.

Everything about the hotel was fine, except for the room had some shortcomings. Most importantly, the lighting was very poor. Common facilities were fine. The golf course is (as expected) outstanding. Since we were there over Christmas, certain of the facilities (e.g., the fitness center) were closed when we wanted to use them.

This is a great hotel, especially if you are attending any conference at the Orlando Convention center complex. I always stay a few days extra and enjoy the sites. It is very close to all the major attractions and great food is in the hotel and all around the area.
My only issue is with the room key/parking key. The parking key aspect always stops working and it is a pain. If they would get that fixed this place would be 5 star.

I liked the way the hotel was so convenient to the convention center. The room was very comfortable, but I had trouble with the thermostat, and was unable to get the room as cool as I like it. But it was overall a very pleasant visit. The movies were too expensive, however.

The hotel is across the street from the outlets! The on-site deli/market/restaurant needs an overhaul in the food department. The food is equivalent to what you'd find in a workplace cafeteria. The irony is that their brochure tells you not to order from off-site restaurants as the hotel can't guarantee the quality of the food you're ordering. I say you're better off eating elsewhere! The hotel staff never vacuumed our suite. What's worse is that I could see grime in the rugs. If you walk around in your socks, they'd inevitably turn black after a couple of hours. For a hotel that claims to be a "grand vacation", they fall short in my book.

We enjoy our stay at the Marriot. The staffs were very nice to us, room big and spacious, beds comfortable. The place was clean.The complimentary breakfast was good. We would recommend friends to stay there and we would definitely stay again...........

Arrived early evening and discovered light refreshments were being served and after a comfortable night's sleep I awoke to enjoy a delightful morning breakfast.
It is located next to a nice residential area with easy access to the highway.
Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel had a colonial feel to it.... it was very much like a bed and breakfast. Great attention from the staff. Really good breakfast every morning! All this place needs to be PERFECT is a pool.... I was super happy though... my bad tub was to die for!!!

Highly recommended! Great price for beautiful condos. Close to the Disney parks and plenty of room for everyone to spread out, which is important when traveling with 5 kids ages 7 through 18! Was missing a few key items from the kitchen (the only plastic cookware in our rental was a pasta spoon) but we worked around that. Only 2 of the 3 bedrooms had televisions, but again, we made it work. Would definitely book again.

Friendly staff. Great customer service. You have to clean your own room unless you want to pay a fee. The hotel charge an $8.00 daily fee not clear on the reason for that.

Great stay for Golf Plus Park Plus Show

The location was great, just removed from the busy Disney downtown, almost walkable.
Food was good but expensive. Shuttle to Golf courses helped. I will recommend the New Course with super friendly staff.
On the minus side, the WiFi didn't work most of the time (though they gave me $50 off for 4 nights) an the internal network including check was wasn't up at all. They could do a better job checking it before letting customers in and making them spend 2 hours with maintenance

The hotel staff was very nice. We stayed for one night for our honeymoon before flying out to our actual honeymoon destination.
I was all excited about having a balcony to sit out at. Only a few of their suites have that. SO, don't pay extra for a balcony cause you'll likely have an area that MIGHT have standing room.
This hotel is huge. We were on a high floor with a nice enough view.
It seemed like we had to park all the way out in Timbuktu before getting to the front desk and then up many floors to our room. The walk back to the car didn't seem so bad, so self parking is doable. It is also $11.00.
They also add a resort fee so consider that when you think you're getting a great deal.
Overall, the room was clean, nicely decorated, and the bed was comfy. They upgraded us to a suite with a kitchen an living room area. They did offer us champagne when we arrived since they knew we'd just gotten married. We weren't really there long enough to enjoy it or investigate all they had to offer but the room was very comfortable.

The hotel was clean, I loved the location. We had very little interaction with anyone within the hotel. I was disappointed with the individual that checked us in. He gave us our rooms cards and said.. there you go. He did not offer any assistance as far as.. elevators are to the left.. etc... he told us nothing at all.

My family had a wonderful stay at the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal. The hotel was lovely and location (easy walk) to Universal made it the perfect place to stay. The amenities were excellent. The only thing I didn't like was that everything cost extra, e.g. fitness center, wireless, parking, etc. Seemed like we were paying enough for the room that they could have included some amenities without charge.

The location is perfect and the hotel is excellent, if you are there for Seaworld/Aquatica. The discount cards save real money and Quick Que passes make a BIG difference since there is almost ZERO wait time for a ride! Rooms are very comfortable, perfectly cleaned, and the hotel has a first class pool and water park area.

Great location, nice hotel, very clean, great lobby area with restaurants and bars. The property is probably going to need a make over in the next few years but is by no means out dated. I would recommend this for fun or business...

Did not like the $5 fee to have the room cleaned because of extended stay. If you plan to use the kitchen you have to buy or take your own pots and pans.
