The name of this hotel has been changed from Holiday Inn to Ramada Inn and fortunately almost everything has stayed the same. The location is very good, everything is clean (as usual) and the staff are the same friendly people we have known for years. The garden is still as beautiful as the first time we stayed there.
It would be nice to add fresh fruit to the complementary breakfast.
It would also be nice to remove the carpets in the rooms and use tiles instead. Cleaning would be much easier and better for people with breathing problems (asthma etc.). It would also allow customers to do yoga, pilates and simple fitness exercises in their room using a yoga mat on a clean floor.

The Bellasera was beautiful and everything I had hoped for. It actually looks in real life what it looks like in the photos on the website. It was comfortable and felt like home. My family (me, my husband and my mom) stayed for 9 nights in the 1 bedroom suite. The couch in the living room converted into a comfortable bed, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dishware and the rooms were kept up nicely every day by the staff. I would definitely go back!

We loved our studio suite. The bathroom was great, although the lighting around the mirror was inadequate. We also had a great privae patio off of our room. We walked almost everywhere and enjoyed having so many dinner options within walking distance. The hotel also provided bicycles, and the area around the hotel was perfect for an easy bike ride. The pool area was relaxing with plenty of lounge chairs, towels, and shaded areas. We had a great first visit to Naples and plan to return some day in the future.

Wonderful Luxury Stay

We stayed at the Naples Bay Resort for a week in January 2012 and were amazed by how large the one bedroom suite was. It's basically like staying in a one bedroom condo with one and half bathrooms. The gourmet kitchen had a full sized fridge as well as a dishwasher and all the silverware, dishes, and bowls needed to dine in if desired. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable. The pools were very nice as well and the fitness room more than met our needs. Our first night we had a small scare where our TV turned on by itself in the middle of the night and creeped us out, but the front desk was very accommodating and switched us to a different hotel room, and there were no more such issues. The staff was extremely friendly. This location is extremely close to all the dining you need on 5th avenue, only gave 4 stars because it's a bit of a walk from the resort to the downtown area. Will definitely stay here again the next time we stay in Naples!

Our family had a fantastic 8 days at Naples Bay Resort. My girls 3 yrs and 9 yrs stayed in the large lagoon shaped heated pool all day, every day. The service was just amazing. The apartments (cottages as they call them), where so nice and big we could have lived there permanently.
The Fish bone restaurant had a high standard.
This has been one of our best vacations even though we travelled to my places in the world before and Naples is so clean, organized and has an exclusive feel.
The first thing I did coming home was to post the hotel web site on my Facebook account with a comment of how great it was. I have never posted a recommendation from an experience on Facebook before.
Thanks to the staff at Naples Bay Resort for making our vacation so wonderful!

Great, Affordable and Comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was the average size room, but it was beautifully furnished Bahamian-style, and had a priceless view of the setting sun and beach. The bed was a king and very comfortable. The staff was courteous and friendly. It was one of the only TWO hotels on the beach, and to be honest, the other one (Edgewater) didn't hold a candle to it.
It was also nice to have complimentary valet park our car. And when we ordered a cab it arrived promptly.
There were several places to choose from to dine as well, one place also being right beside the beach which was super nice. The food was very good, and the portions were huge!
Unfortunately you had to pay for everything on the beach - umbrellas, towels, beds, etc, so it costs you almost $50 just to set up. And when I arrived one evening around 4pm (they closed down at 5) I was not even offered a discount on the beach necessities even though there was only 1 hour left.

Enjoyed watching the boating bustle in the Bay from my quiet room. Hip bath products and efficient quick drip room coffee (need to offer second pod) to get me out to meet my friends downtown. Unfortunately summer months (off season) don't offer guitarist at the Waterside Bambu Tropical Grille/Bar but it was a nice change from the bars on 5th S Ave. The bedding was excellent with great choice of pillows- I brought my own neck pillow and didn't use it!!Average rooms are tight with furniture. Loved the koi pond and tropical colonial decor but the Elevator needs a face lift remodel.

This Hotel had great location...to me location was the most important... i wanted to be close to 5th ave. where most restaurants and shops are... so that was perfect... very clean, close to the beach and downtown main attractions...my room was nice and very clean... the only thing i thought would be nice would be to have breakfast included... they did have breakfast available, but we had to pay for it... i thought it was a little pricy for what they had... so we had to look for a place where we could have a nice breakfast... thank goodness for GPS lol... everything else was great... i had a great time after all... i wanted to go to Naples mostly to rest and see the beautiful sunset at the beach, and luckly i was able to do that... it was awsome...loved it as always...

This was a great location and I would stay there again when in area if the price is right. It wasn't a bargain to stay there even using this online booking, and I thought $15 per day for parking was a little excessive-I probably would have booked a different hotel if I had realized I would have to pay to park ( there is a boutique hotel in middle of the delightful town, cost less per night and included parking) The staff at the Edgewater were friendly, the beach was wonderful and my room was great.

Having stayed here before, we knew that the hotel was very well placed for the beach and for downtown Naples. It is a suite-only hotel, with a microwave as the only cooking device (e.g. no hob). Suites are large, and facilities are good. We stayed in the tower block (6 storeys), rather than the poolside suites. Would suggest staying on 4th floor and no higher, due to noises from staff areas above some of the upper rooms (as we experienced on the 5th). One unnecessary irritation - paying a decent rate for the room, and for food, beverages etc., why do they charge for use of the hotel car park?

The price that we paid was not the best price the hotel offered. My friends booked directly with the hotel and got a price $30 cheaper than we did. Hotel was very nice and clean. There were two aspects that needed looking into. First, the air conditioning unit faced the bed and was extremely noisy and blew cold air onto me when sleeping. Second, the mattress was not very comfortable.

Brilliant locaion right in the centre of downtown Naples with great restaurants. Our second stay in this hotel as we enjoyed it so much last time. Fresh Produce clothing store is also right next door.
The hotel has a tropical old world charm. It's not a big modern resort so don't expect one of those character-less 5 star hotels. AC in our spacious room could have worked a bit better and mattress was a bit lumpy but I'm sure each room will be different.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.

A nondescript-looking no-brand-name hotel from the road, but behind the lobby is a lovely landscaped courtyard with a nice-sized free-form pool and the liveliest bar I've ever seen that seems to attract a lot of local residents. Beer selection is limited, but the burgers are great.
Since you can buy these units, I suspect that the state of the room is the luck of the draw, but our room (#144) was immaculate, with a nice firm mattress and comfortable bedding. The shower doors came off their tracks on the second day (Christmas Day) but we didn't want to bother the maintenance staff. And still, it was fixed when we returned to our room in the evening. -- great housekeeping staff. We also had flatscreen TV with decent if unspectacular reception and good free wireless internet.
The "continental breakfast" isn't worth bothering with, go to Mel's Diner or Blueberry's up the street, or Panera scross the road. But free anytime coffee in the lobby is a nice touch.
As others have reported, the bathroom is tiny (shower only) and the "kitchenette" sink is the only sink you have. The clientele is friendly, the room is clean and comfortable, it's perfect for a value-priced place to put your head at night.

We live on Marco Island and always come to the Gulfcoast Inn for a nearby weekend getaway. The rooms are an excellent value. Very clean, large fridge and microwave. Pool is heated and Harold's is always a great time!

We didnt spend much time at the motel, other than to relax by the pool in the evening and sleep, but we returned each day to a fresh clean room. My only suggestion would be a bit of an improvement to the continental breakfast (i.e. fruit, yogurt).

We wanted a place near the condo complexes in eastern Naples, not downtown, and Comfort Inn was perfect. Great value for a comfortable basic hotel. Delicious free breakfast (3 flavors of waffles!) every day, even Christmas. Good internet wifi. Pool available but we did not use. I'm dinging slightly for a cracked sink, but otherwise good.

Hotel staff was excellent. Beautiful lobby and views of the lake. Excellent location for upscale dining; Flemings, Capital Grill, Etc.

Awful Customer Service

We were visiting this hotel for a weekend soccer tournament. The hotel was beautiful and very well maintained. The customer service was something to be desired. We arrived Friday and the lady who checked us in told us that the pool was open until 9:30 or 10:00 if we were quiet. It was too late to swim that night. However, after a long day of soccer Saturday the kids wanted to swim. They got down to the pool and were swimming and at about 7:00, 2 employees came out and told us that we needed to vacate the pool. We advised her what was said the night before and she said the pool closed at dusk. So everyone went into the hotel lobby per their idea and then all they preceeded to do from about 8:00 on - is tell everyone to be quiet and mainly our group - even though there were 3 to 4 groups in the room. We went up to our room about 9:15 and called down to ask for towels and the lady told us if we wanted them we had to come and get them. I was kind of confused - I thought I was paying a decent price a night for more of a full service hotel. I asked her if I called in the morning what time could I get the towels and she told me after 9:00am (we are up and ready to go by then). This hotel was full - what kind of hotel puts only one person on staff when you have over 100 rooms filled to capacity. The gal in the morning also said that [...]was new. So not only do you put one person to staff the hotel - she is new!!! Not very good management - just trying to make more money. What would another person on staff have cost them 1 rooms night? It will cost them a lot more in the future!!

Check in was great....they were very helpful. Breakfast was fresh and there wer plenty of areas to sit. They had manager events in the evening and even offered to have groceries delived to room.

I went to Napels looking for some tranquility, and relaxing time by the pool and beach. It had been 2 years since our last vacation to Orlando. but now in a budget and with intention of just do nothing. this place was very nice, not like the pics but more like a 2 1/5 -3 star hotel. nevertheless confortable, love the pool and bbq area. the kids had so much fun. the rooms can be a little on the small size, i got a 2 bedroom apt. but i guess Naples is more for older pp, not much to do but the beach and pool.

Built around small pond with pool on little island. Hawaiian look and feel. Beach, shopping and dining options close by.
