Like most Miami Beach hotels, the Riu is grossly over priced. They are also undergoing a phase of much needed renovation so make sure you get one of the updated rooms. The older ones are terrible. The hotel has an air of old money about it. The updated rooms are comfortable and clean. The mini bar as quoted in the room desription is actually just a mini fridge. There is an on site restraurant which is buffet style and again expensive unless you stuff yourself stupid. Parking is an additional $20 per night.

Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und müsste einmal renoviert werden, insbesondere der Teppichboden in den Zimmern. Die Zimmer sind sauber und die Größe ist OK, leider sehr hellhörig für Leute mit schwachem Schlaf. Leider verfügen die Zimmer über kein free WiFi. Nur in der Lobby kann für 45 Minuten kostenlos WiFi genutzt werden. Nutzung darüber hinaus ist kostenpflichtig. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist hervorragend. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Pool und Garten OK.
