We were on the 8th floor, quiet regarding other guests, staff were efficient, friendly, and quiet. No screaming kids in hotel or in pool area. Lovely spot on the ocean. Only negative was the Rescue Squad across the street going out on calls with all sirens screaming. At the top of the hotel, it was tolerable, lower floors, ????

Overall we enjoyed the property. We enjoyed the poolside room with balcony, we didn't care if we had a "personal" balcony. The ocean view from our room was beautiful. You could pretty much enjoy the ocean view from most of the rooms. Hearing the sound of the waves was awesome. Our children ages 10 and 13 enjoyed the suite we were upgraded to because of being Priority Club members. A definite benefit! The only thing we felt was missing was a gift shop, game area for kids, and a more laid back casual dining area. The restaurant was nice, but seemed a little stuffy. The staff was wonderful. We really felt they had our best interest at heart.

Excellent value for the price. HOWEVER, property
was full of unsavory characters. One carload spent the entire night in their vehicle rght infront of our room's window. We were reluctant to leave the room. Maybe this was the only night it was like that but it was quite unnerving. Would not stay there again for this reason.

Over all it was very clean ,and well kept however there was problems with both my bathroom and front door handles, and locks. Also I asked for smoking got non smoking, and the tv service they offered wasnt that good. But it was surrounded by a lot of restaurants, and stores also a movie theater near by was nice. I would recommend it to friends if they needed a nice clean simple place to stay...THANKS!!

Clean, Safe Place To Stay

This hotel was just fine - it was nothing fancy but had all the basic stuff - clean room, safe location, enough convenient parking, central location. Refrigerator, stove, microwave, cups, dishes, coffee pot, etc. were all in the room so we didn't have to eat out all the time. Fairly new and was well kept and clean in halls and lobby and room. Price was commensurate with the room. I will stay there again.

The hotel was suitable for my needs - somewhere to sleep a few hours each night. The room was tagged as non-smoking, but obviously that was not the case for some years in the past, the smell of stale tobacco was strong in the room. Staff was helpful and non-obtrusive. Rooms are accessible via interior hall, a plus in regards to safety.

This is our worst hotel stay ever. The room AC unit had apparently been turned off for some time, so it took over an hour for the room to cool down and for the musty smell to go away.
The microwave was missing from the room, so we were given another room. The front desk employee was apologetic and very helpful in relocating us.
The bath drain in the new room was draining very slow. Bed linen was clean but had stains.

The hotel could of been a half decent place to stay but when we got there the heat index outside was in the 3 digit range.The heat index in the hotel was hotter. they had no air on in our room and their was no air turned on in the hallways ect.The continental breakfast was terrible old bagels taken out of the freezer, no butter only grape jelly a choice of frosted flakes or rice krispies.No choice on the juice only apple.The people seemed ok but 98% of the time they didn`t speak ENGLISH. I will say the location in Melbourne was great.

We were quite please at our stay at the Radisson. The room was very comfortable and roomy. We especially liked having a parlor aside from the bedroom so we could entertain. We liked the idea that all rooms faced the ocean and had a great view. Access to the beach was easy and the staff were all courteous. I would definitely stay there again when I am in the area.

A relative in the area recommended this hotel for a family reunion in the area and we all wanted to be in the same hotel. It was disappointing for a Holiday Inn. The rug in our room had an oily residue. You could not put anything on the floor or walk barefoot. There was no vent in the bathroom so it remained hot and steamy after a shower. I would have liked a refrigerator in the room. Also the ice buckets were extremely small. The pool was ok but would have liked a hot tub. They also did not have a complimentary breakfast. There was a restaurant on site but the portions were small.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and remembered us each time we passed the front desk.The breakfast was excellent with many healthy choices. The rooms were recently updated and it showed. Free wireless was very fast. There were many discounts offered to local retail and entertainment from the hotel. Great value for the money, would most definitely stay there again if we are in the area!

It was a nice hotel to set off from. Stayed there for 3 nights and was barely at the hotel. The breakfast was basic most of the items seem to be prepackaged and heated up for the breakfast service. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. I would stay there again.

We had never stayed at a Residence Inn. the room was a mini apartment,tastefully decorated and fully equipt. the hotel had a complete breakfast every morning, witch was good by the way! the staff were very friendly and went out of there way to please us.we had a good stay and will be back next year.The hotel was located less than 5 minutes from the Airport.

What a convience this hotel was. It was christmas time and there was no more room at the in-laws so me and my two year old stayed here for one night. The FULL kitchen handled all of our needs. Our room was very clean and we were very comfortable. I wish our stay could have been a bit longer.

This Econo Lodge is conveniently located off I-95 near many restaurants, shopping and attractions. We are only minutes from the Atlantic Ocean-Melbourne Beach. Our hotel features an outdoor pool and ample parking for bus tours and large groups. All recently renovated rooms feature hair dryers, 25 inch TVs with HBO, ESPN, and complimentary high speed wireless Internet. Micrwaves and refrigerators are available upon request for a small fee. We have an on-site International House of Pancakes. Hotel is 100 percent smoke free. All King rooms have sofabeds. Fine of 100.00 USD for smoking in guest room.

Before I arrived I was promised a room with microwave and frig. I get a room with neither of these things. I have to go back to the desk and ask about them. I end up waiting till the next day, then I have to change rooms. But the real killer of the whole stay is the room key card, each time I left my room I had to go get my key card re-coded. I mean everytime I left my room and come back my key card would not work. It was very frustrating. I don't think I would like to go to this hotel next year.

Only spent one night at this hotel. We needed an inexpensive place to clean up and sleep for a few hours and that's exactly what this place was. No frills, no amenities. The room was clean and everything was in working order, but the hotel could use a major remodeling. Also, since we arrived late at night, lobby was locked and we had to check in through a walkup window. Sure am glad it wasn't raining.

Originally put in a smoking room. Five minutes later after they appologized for missing the no smoking request we were put in a very clean, very well kept and equipped non-smoking room (the smoking room was identical, except for reeking of cigarettes). We had a very small but very useful full kitchen including pots, pans, plates, silverware, bottle opener. We loved the room! There was no daily linen service but that was fine with us. We just exchanged towels as need at the desk (24/7). The greatest inconvenience was the power outage after the thunderstorm but that was Mother Nature, not Candlewood's doing. We WILL come again!!!
