Great oceanfront stay!

Overall we enjoyed the property. We enjoyed the poolside room with balcony, we didn't care if we had a "personal" balcony. The ocean view from our room was beautiful. You could pretty much enjoy the ocean view from most of the rooms. Hearing the sound of the waves was awesome. Our children ages 10 and 13 enjoyed the suite we were upgraded to because of being Priority Club members. A definite benefit! The only thing we felt was missing was a gift shop, game area for kids, and a more laid back casual dining area. The restaurant was nice, but seemed a little stuffy. The staff was wonderful. We really felt they had our best interest at heart.

Our trip included a lot of relaxation around the pool. Our "no view" room had a great view of the pool and the beach. Our room was clean and we loved spending time on the balcony. We would go back to the Crowne Plaza Oceanfront Melbourne.

This is our worst hotel stay ever. The room AC unit had apparently been turned off for some time, so it took over an hour for the room to cool down and for the musty smell to go away.
The microwave was missing from the room, so we were given another room. The front desk employee was apologetic and very helpful in relocating us.
The bath drain in the new room was draining very slow. Bed linen was clean but had stains.

The hotel could of been a half decent place to stay but when we got there the heat index outside was in the 3 digit range.The heat index in the hotel was hotter. they had no air on in our room and their was no air turned on in the hallways ect.The continental breakfast was terrible old bagels taken out of the freezer, no butter only grape jelly a choice of frosted flakes or rice krispies.No choice on the juice only apple.The people seemed ok but 98% of the time they didn`t speak ENGLISH. I will say the location in Melbourne was great.

My friends and I chose this hotel as we were running the Marathon in Melbourne and it was about 1.9 miles from the start.
I had never actually stayed at any Hilton before, and actually expected it to be fancier than it was. BUT, really it was a great stay.
Firstly: It was QUIET. Blissful.
The staff were extremely accomodating and assisted me with all sorts of things. (pool towels, newspapers, checking in some friends early.)
The toiletries from Crabtree and Evelyn were a nice touch, and made me actually want to use the hotel soaps.
While we were there we did use the pool which was very clean, and the hot tub which was also very clean, but of course small.
The beds were also very comfy and the pillows were the best I've slept on in a long time. (I wanted to take one or two home but didn't.
I did find the TV very difficult to use, but they stated they are now replacing them so maybe that is why.

Over all it was very clean ,and well kept however there was problems with both my bathroom and front door handles, and locks. Also I asked for smoking got non smoking, and the tv service they offered wasnt that good. But it was surrounded by a lot of restaurants, and stores also a movie theater near by was nice. I would recommend it to friends if they needed a nice clean simple place to stay...THANKS!!

Spent a week in a recenty updated room, nothing extremely special but comfortable and well appointed for the price. Only complaint would be whatever piece of equipment they have on the west end of the south tower that would come on in the morning preventing me from sleeping with the slider open.

We stayed for one night in order to spend a holiday with our son who attends college in Melbourne. The hotel staff was very friendly and efficient. We were late checking in but that was "no problem". The room was clean and smelled good. We paid the extra money for breakfast included and it was well worth it. I was afraid that it would be a Continental Breakfast but it was a full hot and cold breakfast buffet. It was quite busy but there was no shortage of food. The only problem was that the bed was too soft for me.

I did a huge show across the street and checked in @ 3pm.. The room was nice looking. I went back to working for the night and around 2am returned to the room unable to sleep. The a/c is a lil too noisy for me but still, I couldnt sleep.. But, just when I thought I was able to pass out, lots of constant noise kept coming from the hallway. They need to install door bumpers or at least put the amenities like soda machines and whatnot bottom floor, not next to your room. However, my stay was good, just wish I could have slept that night ..

We were quite please at our stay at the Radisson. The room was very comfortable and roomy. We especially liked having a parlor aside from the bedroom so we could entertain. We liked the idea that all rooms faced the ocean and had a great view. Access to the beach was easy and the staff were all courteous. I would definitely stay there again when I am in the area.

What a convience this hotel was. It was christmas time and there was no more room at the in-laws so me and my two year old stayed here for one night. The FULL kitchen handled all of our needs. Our room was very clean and we were very comfortable. I wish our stay could have been a bit longer.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and remembered us each time we passed the front desk.The breakfast was excellent with many healthy choices. The rooms were recently updated and it showed. Free wireless was very fast. There were many discounts offered to local retail and entertainment from the hotel. Great value for the money, would most definitely stay there again if we are in the area!

Originally put in a smoking room. Five minutes later after they appologized for missing the no smoking request we were put in a very clean, very well kept and equipped non-smoking room (the smoking room was identical, except for reeking of cigarettes). We had a very small but very useful full kitchen including pots, pans, plates, silverware, bottle opener. We loved the room! There was no daily linen service but that was fine with us. We just exchanged towels as need at the desk (24/7). The greatest inconvenience was the power outage after the thunderstorm but that was Mother Nature, not Candlewood's doing. We WILL come again!!!

My sisters and I travelled to FL to surprise our Dad on Father's Day. We arrived at the hotel after midnight and our registration was processed in seconds. We were expected and our keys were waiting for us. The room was perfect in every way, clean, beautiful bedding and decor. We will most definitely be staying here again. :)

The hotel was suitable for my needs - somewhere to sleep a few hours each night. The room was tagged as non-smoking, but obviously that was not the case for some years in the past, the smell of stale tobacco was strong in the room. Staff was helpful and non-obtrusive. Rooms are accessible via interior hall, a plus in regards to safety.

This was our second visit to the Holiday Inn Express MELBOURNE and we had a great time. We were welcomed by the staff with a free gift of snack foods and bottle water. They helped with directions to area attractions and dinning. Our time in the pool was pleasant, most times a private swim. Although conveniently located right off of Interstate 95 and Rt. 192, it was a quiet, peaceful stay. Easy access to beaches and attractions. We needed to use a computer and were glad the Holiday Inn had a business center with computers and printer. We spent 5 days and were glad for their free full breakfast in the morning. Say Hi to Emmy who works the breakfast buffet making sure every one has enough to eat and drink. We would stay again at the Holiday Inn Express Melbourne, Florida.

We had never stayed at a Residence Inn. the room was a mini apartment,tastefully decorated and fully equipt. the hotel had a complete breakfast every morning, witch was good by the way! the staff were very friendly and went out of there way to please us.we had a good stay and will be back next year.The hotel was located less than 5 minutes from the Airport.

THE BIGGEST TURN OFF WAS THE BATHROOM. THE TOILET DIDN'T FLUSH PROPERLY AND THE TUB WAS DIRTY. AFTER TAKING A SHOWER I NOTICE THAT IT DIDN'T DRAIN PROPERLY AS WELL. NO IRON TO PRESS MY CLOTHES. THERE ISN'T MUCH TO CHOOSE FROM WHEN IT COMES TO FOOD. HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS WAS RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET SO NEXT TIME I DO GO OUT THERE I WILL BOOK WITH HOLIDAY INN.

My review title sums it up. I did enjoy the very spacious room that included a sofa. The price is right for those who aren't too picky and just need a decent place to spend the night.
