Pleasantly impressed for the value. This was our fifth trip to Key West and we typically stay at the Pier House ($$$$$). Decided to save a buck on this trip, and booked a King Suite for three nights- Room#408 ($$). I must say it was a pleasant experience- no bugs, room cleaned daily, cold A/C, comfortable bed, clean pool, minimal street noise, friendly staff. I'd stay here again and bring my young kids. It is a drive to Duval St., so bring a designated driver if your trip is solely a drunkfest. A cab ride is $15.75 each way (yes, it was a legitimate route).

Good hotel, great staff. Views are nice, you can *almost* see the sunset from a balcony on the South side. It's very close to Mallory square and the end of Duval street. We didn't need to take a taxi anywhere.
If you're just looking to take it easy on the property for a day, their restaurant, SHOR is excellent. While the music downstairs at the bar was a little loud in the early afternoon, it was no big deal. There was no excessive late night partying, which was nice. We slept with our balcony door open every night and was never disturbed.
The room was good. There were few loose fixtures but otherwise a comfortable place to stay. The size and style of the bathroom and was excellent. The shower was large, had one of the "waterfall" heads and a hand wand.

Room clean and bed very comfortable, although we had a handicap room and the shower leaked all over the entire bathroom floor. Next time we would request a room with regular shower. Staff at pool friendly and helpful. Always there with a towel, water and even popsicles. Very enjoyable.

The location is sweet. We walked around and checked out a few different properties. This one is one of the few right on the beach and it's a white sand beach. But you can't walk right into the water from the beach due to rocks and coral. Unfortunately, you have to walk out to the end of the pier and get into the water there or go swimming in the pool. But the beach area is beautiful and the chairs and hammocks are clean. The outdoor bar near the beach serves incredible Pina coladas!
The lunch is good, not great at the restaurant on the patio.
Rooms are modern and comfortable, and they have Nespresso machines!!
Service is very good.
Value for price is right on. Would definitely look forward to returning.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary in the Keys. We wanted to stay at a place close to the water so we could enjoy the view. The Reach Resort perfectly fit all the requirements: on the beach, water activities, close to the main Key West attractions but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. The Reach is great for couples as it seems like more families with kids stay at the sister resort, Casa Marina, right down the road.
The staff is super nice and very accommodating.

This was a very nice place to stay and the price was good. Right across the street was the Gulf. Room was decent, but the suites looked very nice. They had free WiFi and a computer with printer in lobby also(good for printing boarding passes in advance). It had a nice

Stayed here and really enjoyed it. The renovation has lead to a beautiful hotel. They even have rental scooters delivered to the hotel if you want. The staff was nice. A couple of things I would change. They need to add a water softener to the hotel. The water is really hard. The pillows were very soft, not a good situation for me. Other than that, we're staying here again.

The location across the street from beach was exactly what we were looking for. Shuttle to Duval St. was prompt and convenient. Refrigerator and microwave in room made eating a few meals in the room easy. Stay was so great that we ended up deciding to stay one extra night. We'll definitely return!

Been staying there for 5-6 years.Seems if I book thru Sheridan and I check in early 3pm instead of 4pm theres no problem.This time thru Orbitz and not a Preferred check in Sheridan Reservation we were told we'd have to wait till 4pm.

We had a great week in Key West, first time there. After getting to Key West and looking around I was happy we chose the SouthernMost Hotel because it was on the quiet end of the busy loud Duval Street and the property was beautiful. We had no problems with our room at all. We enjoyed being able to walk right across the street to SouthernMost on the Beach and having access to those pools and private beach to. The cafe right there on the ocean had a wonderful atmosphere but the food was only average. If they stepped up their food just a notch I would have given a full 5-stars. We never rented scooters or bikes, we did alot of walking. But had good footwear and enjoyed the excerise. A couple nights at the end of a busy day of walking, we were tired getting back there because the SouthernMost is all the way at the end of everything. So I'm sure for some people it would have been to much to do it all on foot. SouthernMost did a luggage hold for us as we checked out at 11am but our flight didn't leave until 5:30 pm, telling us not to worry about anything. They held it till we were ready to take the taxi to the airport which was a nice service. If you stayed here and didn't want to venture around the island like we did, there is plenty of restaruants close by and a corner store and the trolley and the pools and the beach-it was perfect.!!

The location of the Westin is perfect! As other reviews alluded to, the cruise ships do periodically block the view but it's a view you won't get from many places. The concierge staff were wonderful in every way. The room was cleaned early in the day which is nice. However, you have to make sure your do not disturb sign is up or they will know early (and look surprised when you ask them to come back later). My biggest disappointment was with the front desk staff person who didn't seem to know what I was talking about when I asked if the was an airport check-in. Yes there is - in the business center! Shouldn't the front desk staff know that!?

The staff was accommodating and the room was clean and well apportioned. The location is on a busy street and as such we spent one night with sirens and the like from emergency vehicles waking us up every hour...
over all a good value for the money if you have plans and things to do in the area. If we had had to spend the days at the hotel, while the pool is nice, it's way smaller than pictured, (nice trick) with room for only 15 or so around it. the bar is small too and not well staffed.

Ibis bay has an old beach feel with updated rooms. Everything is simple and clean. Staff was down to earth... straight forward... happy to accomodate, friend to strangers, but not professionally hospitalable. Best surprise was the restuarant at the resort, did not have a bad meal, in fact breakfast was excellent and diner was real good. great value!

The staff was just excellent. Didn't spend much time in the hotel as Key West is a happening place. I was surprised there was no fridge in the room.
All the little animal-folded towels were cute but very annoying to unfold to actually use. Would definately stay there again.

It was a nice hotel right at the beachside. The staff was nice and the room was very neat. And it is also very convenient place to live at, close to the marketplace and restaraunts. Prices are relatively low compared to other hotels on the island. The only drawback is that the room is really small and does not have refrigerator.

Southernmost hospitality at it's best, fantastic place to stay, eat and enjoy the best of Key West. Food and drinks are a bit pricey, but the same as all good places in Key West. Food was unbelievably bountiful and excellent. Service was good at the restaurant, and beyond any expectations at the hotel. Clean, classy, on a beach, how much more could you ask for? Quiet at night and just a short walk to Duvall St. We will go back to the Southernmost!

Great place to stay! Directly on the beach, this hotel has all the amenities, including great beach cafe. Located close enough to Duval Street to walk, but far enough away from the noise and crowds. Would highly recommend. Great staff helped us book activities.

Stayed here for two nights and it was wonderful! The free shuttle service to Duval St. was extremely convenient. We would definitely stay here again while visiting Key West.

Great Hotel & Even Better Cookies!

Before you're even given a room key, you are handed a warm, delicious and moist chocolate cookie.
It hard to complain after that. That and the fact that the room was clean, the bed was comfy and soft, the staff so polite, and the beautiful weather made this one of the best Key West experience I've ever had.
The only gripe I had was the extra $10 fee for parking.
But I did use the free shuttle bus to get to Old Town and back quite often, so I can't be too upset about it.
TL;DR: Great Hotel - Will be staying there again

Sunrise Suites Resort is conveniently located for first tine visitors to Key West. The rooms facing West overlook salt marshes but also pick up a lot of noise from the Airport. Your best bet will be to request a room facing East for pool views and less noise.
The suites are pleasant, but are lacking in repair of minor issues. Our screen doors to the balcony were without wheels and not secure in their tracks. The patio table top had been severely melted in the middle and a towel hook was falling off the wall in the master bath.
Lastly, the equipment in the room was outdated in the fact that there was a VHS Video player rather than a DVD player for watching movies.
