CheckIn and encounters with staff pleasant and efficient. Continental breakfast sufficient to insert calories and stimulate neurons, but only just. All day coffee though. Walking distance from real Restaurants.

Having stayed at the Microtel Inn & Suites on Airport Dr. in Jacksonville many times, I feel quite justified in saying that this hotel meets the needs of budgeting travellers perfectly. It is economical, clean, and close to the airport. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I will be very happy to stay there again!

The staff was very friendly. We even got a call a short time after we got to the room asking if everything was satisfactory. I don't remember that at any hotels we've stayed at recently. Hot breakfast with tasty choices. Very nice. We will consider this location again!

The hotel was perfect location wise for an early airport shuttle; one desk clerk said call ten minutes before you need the shuttle to arrive, then when we called, they said that they don't call the shuttle until you are in the lobby (they should get the story straight!) But desk clerks were very nice and helpful. Only problem was no elevator and we were on a 2nd floor (I had just pulled my back and this was a little bit difficult for me, but tolerable - and I did want a street level room). The refrigerator in the room was very spacious but we did not use/need; also it made a lot of noise so we unplugged it. The lighting over the sink/dressing area outside the bathroom was in need of a new bulb. The King bed was comfy. The entire room was very clean and the TV worked great; lots of channels to choose from. There is a large mall just two streets away - movie theater, restaurants - plenty to do. We will definitely stay here again given the proximity and convenience to the airport.

New and very clean. I had a problem with my room and the staff quickly switched me to another room in minutes with no problems. I paid a total of $100 for the room which was a deal given the quality of the facility.

Do not get me wrong a lot of staff were very good.
However, one individual ruined my experience by screwing up both of my wake up calls to create a lot of problems for me.
Every one else was fine, but you are only as good as your weakest link!

Nice property, clean and convinent to I-95. [...] the front desk attendant was more than helpful. This was my first time at this hotel ,but I was told the breakfast buffet from last year was more accomidating than the menu they have presently. Overall I was pleased with my stay.

My stay was overnight in order to catch my flight the next morning. The motel was comfortable and the service was good. I had no problem with the motel.
The only thing missing was shuttle service to the airport,therefore I had to make arrangements for a taxi.

As a business traveller it was decidedly average and not up to the standard expected of a Crowne Plaza hotel in say the Uk. the rooms were fine, but the breakfast was not great and the bar lacked any character. This might work for a young family but not for me, as the indoor/outdoor pool dominates.

The staff was very friendly. The continental breakfast was not as offered in other motels. Only thing available was store brand danish pastries and coffee. No cerial or fruit or any other foods were offered for breakfast. Not very appealing

So this hotel is definitely cheap so you get what you paid for. The room was spacious but smelled a little bit. The bare essentials were in the room. The lobby was being renovated and was very nice. The patrons next door were quite noisy. Our room was in the back of the hotel and the area did not feel safe and so my boyfriend and I parked our cars in the front of the building which was a long walk from our room. All in all, if you do not scare easily and like cheap hotels to just crash in then this hotel serves it's purpose.

Checked in after 10pm ... staff was very nice. room was clean and beds were comfy. There's a lot of road construction going on around the hotel, so having to go past the hotel and make a u-turn was kind of a nuisance. The only other thing was there was water on the floor in the bathroom from either the tub or toilet, but maintenance was called right away. Other than that, great stay!

We (my wife and I) stayed 1 night in this hotel before our Cruise trip from Jax Port. Very conveniently located close to the airport and better still with ALL Airport and Cruise parking companies. This made the drive from the hotel to the parking lot a less than 5 minute ride. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and pretty safe area (even though it is near Jax airport). Recommend this for the price they offered and the convenience.

This was our third time to stay at Wingate by Wyndham at Jacksonville airport. The park and fly program is awesome, they watch your car, they are very courteous and the full breakfast was great. The service to and from the airport was excellent and the driver was very friendly. Makes traveling more pleasant when you have good people to deal with. Thank you Wyndham!!

The staff was very professional yet very approachable and friendly. I bought a box of Oreo's from vending machine and to my astonishment there was no MILK . The gentleman working that night behind the counter recognized my serious situation right away and went to the supply refrigerator for next days breakfast. Well, I Got Milk for my Oreos.....He did not have to do that and he did not charge me for the milk. I will start staying in Resindence Inns over other hotels now. When I am in Jacksonville again that will be the only place I will stay. TP

The hotel was very convenient to I-95 and to many restaurants, including a home-owned, pit-cooked BBQ restaurant within walking distance. The hotel room was not fancy, but clean, everything worked - TV, microwave, fridge, in-room free WiFi - and there was fresh coffee in the lobby in the morning.

Like with anything else in life, you pay for what you get. The Motel 6 near the Jacksonville Airport is no exception to this rule. The room was in shambles and the toilet was broken. Maintenance came and repaired but it wasn't repaired. The outside of the hotel is unspeakable, and there are noticeably illegal activities happening in the immediate vecinity. Staff, for the most part, is friendly, but not very helpful... Needless to say it was a shady experience, but like I said before you pay for what you get. This place is good if you are rowdy college kids, but awful for families...proceed with caution.

Too expensive for what you get

Room smelled of bug spray. Had to go get potpourri. Noisy A/C. Bedspread smelled. Tiles missing in bathroom. I left my white socks on and the filthy carpet made my sock soles filthy. Do not stay here. Awful. Not fair.

This hotel was a big disapointment. The room was not very clean and it had a bad odor! The shower was a joke. The water barely trickled out and it to had a bad odor. The location was difficult to get to and the only dining was a Denny's that was too busy to get a table. Overall it was a bad choice. I'd rate it a 1/2 star.
