The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well stocked. The pool was inviting and the jacuzzi was relaxing and private. i would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Like most Hilton Garden Inns, it was clean and well run. This one offered upgraded rooms for a small additional fee which was nice. Room had full separate living room with sofa, desk and nice TV. Nice modern bathroom with big roman tub and shower. Hotel is not near downtwon, but is in a busy commerce area with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. I will certianly stay there again.

We have chosen this location for our 1-week stay based on the reviews. At the end of the day we need to say that either others were lucky or our room assignment was unfortunate. OK - some might say we could have asked for an other one.
Here are the major findings:
Pros: great location if you wish to stay on budget but be close to Sanibel island, a shelling paradise. Stores, shops and multiple dining options are just a few minutes drive away. If boiled eggs (that may be cold if not freshly made) and waffles make you satisfied as`hot` items, the breakfast is good and enough especially compared to chain motels. GREAT and clean pool, of you wish to swim in the beginning or the end of the day. Also offering jacuzzi tub with hot (I mean hot) water.
Cons: the room we got smelled really bad. The bathroom fan was not working (if installed at all) that partially led to this.We had some bity stuff (most probably flees) in the bed. The TV remote was not working - the funny thing: when asked for replacement, the receptionist got into an empty room and took changed ours to that instead of getting some batteries or other remote. Poor new guests that evening...

We had an overnigth stay only.
The hotel price was reasonably cheap. Continental breakfast was not bad, however I'd like to see fresh fruits in the morning. I'm glad the place has free internet access.The PC in the lobby was kind of slow.

My experience was good. The room wasn't cleaned everyday but when it was I wasn't concerned for my valuables. I had a very nice camera and laptop. They were never bothered. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful when needed. I was out quite a bit so the room was just to sleep and was perfect for that. And what a great deal, 480 for 11 nights! Perfect for my trip to Fort Myers and Sanibel Island.

Lots of shopping at Miromar Outlets and Coconut Point Mall, a trip to Sanibel Island which was very close and easy to get to, Bike riding and mini-golf at Lake Parks (1 1/2 miles away). Everything was so close by and convenient. We saw a movie right next door to the hotel too.

This hotel met our needs for a weekend visit with friends. Its location was convenient to the airport and to the beaches. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfasts were reliably filling. If your not expecting extra frills but want clean, quiet, comfort and convenience this is the place for you. Only wish the weather had been warmer...!!

The room was clean and the bed was awesome with the wonderful soft sheets and pillows. Great nites sleep. Only disappointed with price of movies. 19.95 for a current playing movie. More than the theater!

Excellent experience as upon check-in, we were given assistance with finding a requested restaurant. Staff went so far as to write down the phone number and call to see if everything was correct. Delicious breakfast, as usual with all Hampton Inns that I have stayed at. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the Ft. Myers area.

The staff was so helpful to me. I was traveling alone to attend a funeral and was a bit overwhelmed. Whether I needed help connecting to the internet or a spoon and fork for a late night snack, the staff was friendly and accommodating.

If you just need a place to stay en route this is fine. A lot of noise from other guests, still not sure whether the bites my kids and I got were from the beach at Ft Myers or the beds. Nice owners who tried to be helpful and polite.

O.k. so, it's not the Ritz. But it is the best deal for Red Sox fans, 10 minutes from the park, with a great big pool. I will stay again next year. But they wouldn't credit me on the Wyndham rewards program!

this hotel is well located for our purposes. we took trips from here to visit friends and relatives in the area and had easy access to rt,41 and i-75. the hotel is not new but has been up-dated and well maintained. it's aood deal for the money.

My stay was just a night over while passing through Fort Myers. Its not a Hilton but the room was clean, very affordable, the staff was pleasant, and the location was great.

My room was very clean and the hotel people very nice. Oddly enough, I had a problem with electrical outlets...none that allowed me to plug in my cell phone on "my" side of the bed. Ditto for moving the floor lamp. The bedside wall lamps were unreachable from bed, so I hoped to move the floor lamp, but it was not to be. The microwave/fridge were an afterthought, as they were plugged to a power strip which was hanging from the wall!
I was put in a room near the lobby(a plus for me as a single traveler, but the door chain(not a heavy curved bar as I have seen elsewhere) was a flimsy affair, barely held onto the wall with 2 small, loose screws which I was able to tighten by hand!!
Pretty scary, so I slept with an alarm that slides under the door (I always carry one), but that one feature made me uneasy.

Not bad for the price. I slept well the bed was comfortable. Bob Eveans McDonalds and 7-11 all within walking distance. Walmart 2 miles away in case you forget something for your trip.

People live in this motel. Fight broke out in parking lot at 4 am, no phone in room to call office. No soap or shampoo in room, had to go to 7-11. No refrigerator as promised, no microwave. Dirty, noisy. Had a four day reservation, checked out after the first night. Don't stay here. Dog poop in the laundry/vending area. Beds lumpy and uncomfortable. The door didn't lock properly. They say they have recently completed renovations, not so!

We visited family and a little sight seeing. The room we booked on line was the least expensive room in the hotel. The location of the room in the hotel complx was a bit scary. Perhaps for those who are out of town, a room in a more safe location in the hotel complex would be much better. The bathroom in the 1st room had peeling paint and no shower vent/fan for exhaust, but the water pressure was excellent in the 1st room. The number of towels was excellent and it was great to have a shower cap in the room as an amenity. The room in the newer section whichh we were moved to the 2nd night and we stayed for the duration of our stay, needed to have the shower head replaced and we called down to the front desk and it was replaced. I did get a few bites that looked like flea bites, but I am unsure since I think the hotel does not allow pets. [...]

Employees at front desk were exceptionally helpful & friendly. They & the staff in the restaurant laugh & are happy, putting you at ease. What a great place it must be to work! New renovations have made things even better. The only negative is that it's in an ugly part of town. From the "Downtown Historic" in the hotel name, I thought we'd be able to walk to that area. It's not downtown, nor in the historic district.

The room was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. I need to print my boarding pass and the public computer wouldn't go online. The desk clerk went out of her way to help me.
The shuttle driver picked me up at the airport, took me to a restaurant for dinner and then returned to take me back to the hotel. Exceptional service.

My husband and I were down in Fort Myers looking at real estate. We were pleasantly suprised with the facility; it is so clean and the rooms are beautiful! The beds are so comfortable, we both slept so good!! The staff were outstanding; they were so friendly and helpful! We would definitely stay there again on our next trip to Fort Myers.

the hotel was acceptable for what we were there for. it does need to be updated. it was pretty clean and neat. It was a little noisy on saturday night we stayed for 4 nights. The hotel staff were very friendly i would stay there again.

We stayed here for 2 nights before our house was ready on Captiva. It was a great location, close to excellent restaurants and a grocery store. The hotel was new, the room layout was one of the best ever, especially for a larger family. The breakfast was good, the fitness room was nice, & the pool was fun! The only problem was there wasn't enough chairs by the pool, especially chaise lounges. Would definitely stay there again!
