Unusual to have a line to check in at 11:30 at night, but the clerk was friendly and helpful, and got everyone through in a reasonable time. He was still on duty when we left at 5:00 to catch a plane, and he recognized us., and was quite pleasant.

1. On weekend mornings, dining room floor was filthy dirty. I would not eat there. When I complained I was told that they had a wild night the night before. Why wasn't it cleaned in time for breakfast?
2. Dining room waitress spent too much time sitting at the bar couinter talking to co-workers.
3. Chairs in my room were very un-comfortable when sitting for any length of time.
4.Free coffee in lobby was oftentimes gone and I had to ask for it a few different days.

Really disappointing breakfast - after all else being so nice for such an attractive price! Way past edible bananas, only 2% milk for cereal, coffee, etc, pastries that looked very old, limited selection of breads and cheap-end "bulk buy" cereals. Did not try waffles.

The location was good, but our room was cold. We had to turn the thermostat up all the way, past 80 degrees (which it was not) to get the room comfortable. We had an early flight, got the wakeup call requested, had a Continental breakfast, and the free shuttle took us to the airport on time.

The staff that i had at the front desk was very friendly, polite and welcoming as i checked in, the free cookie that they give you helped! Elevators aren't far from the front desk. Room was very nice as well as clean. Couldn't hear the planes going overhead at all.

Attendant was excellent.
General impression of premises was on the unkempt side and not very clean.
Room was large enough and beds were good. But room was "smokey".
Bathroom was nice. One light had no bulb.
Rate was excellent, so I guess you get what you pay for.

I was somewhat disappointed -- in description it said it was 1 mile from the airport where in fact it was 5-6 miles - there was no shuttle service, I had to pay for my taxi.
The hotel itself felt a bit neglected and old even though it was clean. Bare minimum for breakfast.
I cam in quite late - 1am - the receptionist was not warm and friendly. Originally I was assigned to the second floor, however it turned out there was no elevator and no one to help me with heavy luggage.
I most likely would choose that hotel again.

Very friendly staff. Room had extras I wasn't expecting like DVD player, large screen TV, kitchenette with stove, fridge,microwave, and dishwasher. Bathroom was clean and free from the cosmetic defects I've come to expect at other places. The indoor pool and exercise room were a nice touch although I didn't have time to use them. I will definitely stay here again if I ever return to the area.

My friends and I wanted to find a hotel that was close to Six Flags, not expensive, and clean. This hotel was very fairly priced. The rooms were spacious, big, and newly designed. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a very good experience. Comfortable room and friendly staff. We had family visiting and they enjoyed the pool and the pizza there was out of this world!

Costly compared to other area hotels...but, the only one actually in the terminal...so location and convience can't be beat...especially for those 0600 flights.

The Homewood Suites at Windsor Locks could use a facelift. The staff is exceptional, the main registration area is nice but the rooms are a little tired looking.

Convenient, No-Frills and Inexpensive

This is a no-frills, convenient hotel located immediately across from Bradley International Airport and surrounded by car rental locations, fast-food restaurants and other traveler convgeniences. It's close to Hartford (<10 Miles) and to surrounding Business Parks and Amenities.
The Front Desk Staff is exceptional and quite polite. Fresh hot coffee is provided at the Front Desk in the mornings and noise levels are acceptable (quiet unless an additional runway at te airport is in use - and even then it closes around 11:00 PM).
The room is good size, clean, neatly arranged and a tiny-bit more upscale than the Days Inn that I stayed-at off Exit 33 at the WIndsor/Hartford city line.
Highly recommended if you plan to spend time traveling, sightseeing, at work or 'out-and-about'.
Theres a pool and central courtyard that are probably nice in Summer - but not likely the place you come with family to spend a 'Resort' type weekend.
Excellent for the passing commuter, business traveler or tired voyager.
