Personal service, friendly staff. The continental breakfast was served on china by a waitress with a view of the Connecticut shore a few feet away. The building is older, but more than acceptable. A very good value for the price. It is a bit off the beaten path, though, and the map associated with the [...]listing was wildly wrong.

The hotel was very conveniently located, close to the highway. Super easy to find. Clean. Really nice staff at the desk. We overslept the next morning and missed the free breakfast by about 5 minutes, but the staff was so nice and went out of their way to get us something, and didn't hurry us out. Would stay here again.

Clean, modern rooms. Comfortable bed and bedding. The hotel backs up to the highway so you hear some highway noise. Excellent hot breakfast. There is an indoor pool but we didn't go to it. A good stay overall.

Respectable hotel, clean hotel and rooms. The only complaint was that the room was small. I love the fact that they have free breakfast every morning ( a real breakfast not the coffee and bagel variety).
Great pick for staying a few nights and have no need for the bells and whistles.

Description
Easy on and off exit 30 on I-95. The Stratford Hotel is a full service conference center with many amenities. Banquet space that will hold up to 500 guests, along with two ideal boardrooms. The Directors Cut restaurant and lounge is a casual dining experience with an excellent choice of all your favorites. The heated indoor swimming pool along with our exercise facility will unwind even the most stressful traveler. The hotel also offers many amenities which includes complimentary breakfast, free WI-FI, refrigerator and microwave upon request and transportation to Mohegan Sun Casino.

Do yourself a favor, stay somewhere else! I checked in at 1:00 a.m. for a 3-night stay and checked out at 7:00 a.m. for good. Ads said "newly remodeled," but all I could see was globs of caulk filling gaps in the bathroom and old fixtures. There was an unbelievably bad smell (like you left laundry in the washer for a week and it was wet) which they tried to cover up with gallons of cheap perfumey smelling chemicals, which only made it worst. I had a headache within seconds of walking through the front door, and for the rest of the day after I checked out. My whole body itched after laying in the bed for a few minutes, so I switched and laid in the other bed. The only good thing about this hotel is the location and the water pressure in the shower.

We were in shock when we arrived. Half of the hotel was cordoned off, and the restaurant was not in service. The building smelled foul and the furnishings in the lobby were shabby. The place was a dive. There was no mananger and we were told no manager would be in over the weekend. There were signs up that said: No Parties in the Rooms, and, 24 Hour Survellance. We refused to check in and had to call other hotels in the area to find rooms.
