Good price, comfortable and clean room

I am pleased with my stay at Homestead. The room was very clean. I only stayed 1 night, so I didn't make much use of kitchen but if needed it would have been great. Check in was quick and pleasant. Only thing I can say bad is about 8 in the morning there was loud voices in the hallway for a bit. I would recommend this hotel.

Nice, clean room. Very quite during the day and evening. On Sunday a very odd thing happen after spending three nites there. Housekeeping was using a vaccum in the hallways on the first floor around 5:55am. After about 10 minutes the noise stopped and I could only hear it from a distance. My room was very near to the front desk and elevator but that did not bother me.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this Hampton Inn is. The lobby, the hall carpets, the room - all looked new and upscale. Our room was very nice, with a suite feel to it. There was a sitting room with couch and chairs, and a work area, and then the king bed was on the other side of a little divider. The room included a frig, and the bathroom had a beautiful glassed in shower. Very cozy and comfortable, and quiet. We loved it, even though the pool was closed for construction.

We booked the hotel room for a visit with family for Thanksgiving so we weren't at the hotel much. Just for relaxing and sleeping. The room was beautiful and clean. The only odd thing about the room was it still had a vhs player hooked up to the tv instead of a dvd player. We had a king size bed with kitchenette and sitting area in the room. Very nice and clean. the breakfast was acceptable , however the mini muffins were hard and the apples were not ripe. Other than that the eggs were delicious. Besides these couple of things, our stay was very nice and pleasant. The location was also good. It was near to various restaurants and stores.

I was happy with the staff and the hotel room. The bed was firm and I though the pillows were pretty comfortable. I wish they had better coffee. The mini fridge was coming out of the counter but it was still functional. I didn't use the mini fridge. It would have been nice if they had complimentary snacks or water. Overall, my experience was positive. I didn't use the gym or the pool because my time there didn't allow it. But the gym and pool looked nice.

We had two beds, one made a clunking noise when you set down.
We had two rooms, my son and his two kids in one and we in another.
Knowing that there was a baby, they should have given us a ajoining room at the end of the hotel.
We had a room between us that the people saying there complained when the baby was crying.

We've stayed numerous times at this hotel over the past 9 yrs. we've had two sons attending Yale in nearby New Haven. We've never been disappointed in the service and the fact that everything we need or desire is included: a hot breakfast, spacious rooms, full kitchen, even fires in the fireplace during parents' weekend during fall in New England. There's even a pumpkin farm just up the road! Our latest stay was for our younger son's graduation, arriving late at night, but finding everything as we remembered it, including comfortable beds into which we collapsed after hot tea and popcorn in our room.

I loved the space in the room, everything was very clean and the staff was very helpful in getting us directions on where we were going, the breakfast was also a highlight, they had everything! Even a place to make your own waffles if you wanted.
