Welcome to the Ramada in East Hartford, CT located just minutes from downtown Hartford and 16 miles from Bradley International Airport. Travelers appreciate the convenient location and free parking. Easily located off of I-84, this East Hartford hotel is near Rentschler Field, home of UCONN Huskies Football, Cabelas, and minutes from the Connecticut Convention Center, XL Center, Comcast Theater, Connecticut Expo Center and Bushnell Theatre. Attractions near hotel include the Mark Twain House, Harriet Beecher Stowe Center, Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, Connecticut Science Museum. Other attractions include Mystic, CT, Mohegan Sun Casino, and Foxwoods Resort Casino. The Ramada East Hartford is also near The University of Hartford and Trinity College.
There is a nominal fee for Shuttle service, and the airport shuttle needs to be booked in advance.

Hotel well located, but rooms were a little shoddy. Lights bulbs missing, outlets that didn't work, and not equipped as advertised. No microwave or refrigerator, or DVD player (see advertised amenities). Cleaning staff polite and helpful. Only one ice machine (third floor for entire five story hotel.) Otherwise seemed disinterested in pleasing guests -the focus was primarily on varied activities in conference rooms, church gatherings and sale of ethnic items. Not worth the price.
I got out and about Hartford and environs on my own -asked directions from desk and given wrong names of destinations!!! Found them on a search on my GPS!!!!
Enjoyed Hartford museums and parks - nice city to visit. The desk didn't have a map, knew nothing about the Star Bus system and didn't even have a local paper to look up a movie schedule. Told me to go to a store and buy a paper!!!

The hotel was conveniently located off the thru way, however that also resulted on alot of traffic noise all night. Although the room was "cleaned" daily, there was still the same hair on the floors each day. The pool also had the same clumps of hair in the bottom of the pool all three days we were there. The pool water wasn't very clear, and one evening of swimming when we needed to go ask for towels, we were told there were not enough for everyone.
