Floors are a U shape with elevator at only one side of the top of the U. Unfortunately, we were in the opposite U so we had to walk about 300 yards around the entire floor to get to our room. There is also no AC but usually the high is only 75 but we were there during a heat wave of 85. Room itself was great. Big bed, comfortable, big bathroom, HD TV. Most nearby shops were closed for the season so selection was limited. Great price for the summer and there was almost no one in the place.

We stayed at the Iron Horse for a long ski weekend and it was amazing! The ski in/ski out option couldn't have been better. There is shuttle service if a blue isn't where your skill level is at! The facility was clean and the front desk people were friendly. We did have an issue with the bathroom light burning out. We called twice to have it replaced and it never was but otherwise our stay was great. The resort is in a perfect location to the mountain and you can easily drive into town. Caution - don't rely on local cab service to get you to and from places as they are not reliable. I was nervous about the size of the condo considering we chose the studio option and it has a Murphy bed but I have to say that there was plenty of room for two people and I would absolutely stay there again!

Slope-side resort, has its own bus stop to get into town after skiing. Front desk staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Indoor-outdoor pool and 2 large outdoor hot tubs were great to be in on a cold snowy evening. Room (suite) was very comfortable for 2. It is the best deal for slopeside rooms in Winter Park. Had to go into town for dining. An easy free bus ride.

Older property, but VERY clean and excellent condition. Owner very friendly and ready to help with any request. More amenities than the condos... Like fresh towels and daily maid service.
Easy drive to winter park skiing. Shuttle also stops in front.
Great ski rental next door (about a city block) at Beavers. Cheaper, less crowded better service and better equipment than at the mountain.

Nice affordable stay in Winter Park

The motel was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the fridge and microwave were a nice perk.
There aren't that many places to stay in the downtown Winter Park area, so we were pleased that this motel was a nice deal for the price. The room size and amenities were comparable to mountain town hotel rooms that cost $20-30 more a night.

The hotel accomodations were fine, clean, friendly. The pool water was a little too cold, great hot tub. We were in Winter Park for just 2 days prices were just what we were looking for. Very convenient location to everything.

Trip through the Rocky Mountains. Coffee in room, no microwave, no shampoo, no deadbolt on door. Bed was no comfortable. Internet in room was fast, no breakfast...clean. Staff friendly and nice indoor pool and sauna

Went for Memorial Day up to Winter Park. Nice town, quaint, and best of all - not busy. More like a ghost town in late May.However, this ghost town feel also was at this hotel. We checked in at 6pm on Sunday, and that was "after hours" (the clerk had gone home for the evening), so we had to drive to another location 5 minutes away and check in, then return.No one on staff at the other location knew the wireless code, so we couldn't use that amenity, and the [...]reservation was not known to them when we got there 2 hours after making the reservation. The hotel's hot tubs were "offline", so that was another perk we couldn't enjoy.Overall, a decent hotel stay, especially considering the low price, but I suppose this is their off season, and they skimp on the details in their off season because they have few patrons staying there and they probably can't afford staff.I would probably try another hotel another time going back, this was a little odd.

Guests can enjoy a free ride on the Village Cabriolet from the steps of the Vintage Hotel to the Village at Winter Park. I booked at the Zephyr in a hurry and did not really pay attention to what I was doing, happily this time I lucked out.
When I arrived at Winter Park it was instantly clear that you are either in the village or not. The Zephyr sits right in the middle of the village so everything was a breeze. The staff was friendly and helpful (we had never been to Winter Park at all before). The property is beautiful and well maintained.
We stayed in a lowest-end one bedroom unit on the lower level and it was gorgeous inside. Full condo living, complete with DVD/VCR and a nice selection of movies from the unit owner. We had a patio at ground level, and a nice evening to enjoy it.
The only problem we had was some noise from party-goers around midnight, but a call to security cleared that right up.
We will definitely repeat.

Beaver Village Condominiums is the perfect location for lodging in Winter Park. Visitors to the Winter Park area may have a hard time deciding what activity to do for the day. Downhill skiing and snowboarding, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling are some of the winter activities in our area. For summer, enjoy mountain biking, music festivals, hiking, and golfing. Winter Park boasts a number of fine restaurants and pubs. Winter Park began as two small settlements, Old Town and Hideaway Park. Old Town came into existence because of the construction-taking place on the Moffat Tunnel. Hideaway Park came to be simple because it is located near the ski resort. It began as a small settlement with only a handful of buildings and people. On August 1st 1978 the town was founded and became Winter Park. In 1980 Winter Park grew again incorporating the West Portal Village. The West Portal Village became the home of the Mary Jane Base and various other buildings at the resort such as the Iron Horse Resort. With the mission statement being, to actively develop as a quality resort community, which reflects the beauty of our natural surroundings, visitors can be certain to have a unique experience taking in the culture of such a passionate town. A USD 30.00 cleaning fee will be collected upon check-in for 1 night stays. Check-in is at 4 pm, check-out at 10 am. The front desk and clubhouse are open 7 days a week. Our schedule varies by season- Spring 9AM-5PM, Summer 8AM-10PM, Fall 8AM-6PM, Winter 8AM-10PM. Minimum check in age is 21. Condo was okay. Supposed to get an updated one, received one that was not. Old Appliances and kitchen not well equipped. Clean, good location, just thought we were going to have an updated one- not with appliances and baths that were 20 years old.
Good location-would stay closer to slopes next time.

For a business stay this is fine, a typical Best Western dependable level of quality. Wireless internet is excellent. Front desk is understaffed, especially in the morning when one person is trying to handle checkouts and the breakfast operation. Not a particulary friendly small staff. Parking is an anknowledged problem, not enough space. In summer and fall lots of hikers on tours stay here. Lots of places to eat in Winter Park and close.

My 3 friends and I went to Winter Park for a long weekend of skiing. Our stay at HCH was great. Our room was clean and had a nice kitchen. It was close to lots of restaurants. The rec room has a pool table, air hockey, and several arcade games in addition to a pool and several hot tubs.
Everything was great except there was no WiFi in our room which is amazing in this day and age. Other than that my only complaint is that the Rec center/hot tub didn't open til 10 AM.

We stayed the night, and went skiing at Winter Park Resort the next day. The manager of the hotel was very friendly and talkative. I did have an issue getting the free wifi in my room, but I wasn't expecting internet access anyway. The pool was nice, but the hot tub could have been a little warmer, but it was good enough at the end of the day.

It was July and hot. There was no Air Conditioning. Had to keep the window open which let in noise and made for no privacy. Railroad 50 yards away. Despite being cool at night the room didn't cool off until AM.

This was a nice place to stay. It would have been great to know that you don't check in at the condos! And the address Orditz has is not found on the GPS. We really enjoyed the stay. Nice pool, the tennis courts were being refinished so we couldn't use them. There is racket ball and indoor basketball that the site didn't tell about. We would have done racketball if we knew! I would recommend these condos.

Nice stocked place with plenty of room. Have to catch the shuttle and ride 15 minutes to change out the towels and get more toilet paper and dish soap. Tried to use the clubhouse pool and hot tub the last night there and there was no passcard in the unit so they refused entrance which was disappointing. Also we arrived very late. We called ahead and was told the key would be in a lockbox there but instead had to travel back into winter park to the main office. The shuttle bus driver was not happy

A Warm Welcome In Ski Country - Get away from it all at the family owned and operated Arapahoe Ski Lodge conveniently located in downtown Winter Park. Arapahoe Ski Lodge offers you a relaxing homelike atmosphere. 11 rooms with one or two Queen Beds - each with private bath. There is a bar/lounge serving your favorite drinks and a large recreation room - each with a cozy fireplace. Plus indoor spa/sauna/heated pool/TV room. Best of all enjoy relaxed dining with the finest food. In summer and early and late ski season we are a BED AND BREAKFAST. Summer activities in the Fraser Valley include the Alpine Slide/Golf/ River Rafting/Rodeos/hiking and Biking. We have indoor bike storage.
