This hotel is located only 1/3 miles from the base of Winter Park Resort. Guests can enjoy a free ride on the Village Cabriolet from the steps of the Vintage Hotel to the Village at Winter Park. Shuttle service runs throughout the evening (ski season only) to shuttle guests from the hotel to the town of Winter Park.
The accommodations range from traditional hotel guestrooms to luxury 2 bedroom suites with kitchenettes and fireplaces. The guest rooms have brand new, high quality mattresses, pillows, linens, and towels as of February 2012. The Vintage Resort offers guests a resort hotel with an outdoor heated swimming pool, oversize hot tub/Jacuzzi, sauna, exercise facilities, full service restaurant (seasonal), free local shuttle service to town (seasonal), high-speed internet service, game room, business center and guest laundry facilities.
***Pets are allowed but there is a one time fee of $25 per stay if guest brings a pet. Up to three pets are allowed, $25 for the first pet and $10 each additional pet. Payment is due upon check-in; tax not included. Subject to availability and the Vintage Hotel must be contacted directly from the guest prior to check-in.***

Friendly staff in hotel, even more friendly staff at the restaurant. Rooms are clean(had two rooms at the same stay). Somewhat noisy due to lower-level floor.

Fraser Crossing and Founders Pointe is just a short walk to the lifts at Winter Park Resort. These ruggedly handsome condominiums range in size from studios to two-bedroom units and comfortably accommodate any family size.
After a full day on the slopes, relax in front of the warm glow of your gas fireplace accented by a solid wood hearth, or "mix it up" aprs style on the beautiful third floor amenity deck, featuring heated walkways, a giant common area hot-tub and gas barbeque grill.
Fraser Crossing and Founders Pointe feature granite counter-tops and stainless steel appliances in your choice of a full kitchen or kitchenette. These beautiful "designer decorated" contemporary condominiums are conveniently located on the in-town shuttle route. The building also provides heated underground parking (surcharge applies), and high speed Internet.

Floors are a U shape with elevator at only one side of the top of the U. Unfortunately, we were in the opposite U so we had to walk about 300 yards around the entire floor to get to our room. There is also no AC but usually the high is only 75 but we were there during a heat wave of 85. Room itself was great. Big bed, comfortable, big bathroom, HD TV. Most nearby shops were closed for the season so selection was limited. Great price for the summer and there was almost no one in the place.

I booked at the Zephyr in a hurry and did not really pay attention to what I was doing, happily this time I lucked out.
When I arrived at Winter Park it was instantly clear that you are either in the village or not. The Zephyr sits right in the middle of the village so everything was a breeze. The staff was friendly and helpful (we had never been to Winter Park at all before). The property is beautiful and well maintained.
We stayed in a lowest-end one bedroom unit on the lower level and it was gorgeous inside. Full condo living, complete with DVD/VCR and a nice selection of movies from the unit owner. We had a patio at ground level, and a nice evening to enjoy it.
The only problem we had was some noise from party-goers around midnight, but a call to security cleared that right up.
We will definitely repeat.
